We present the first systematic study of the influence of temperature on the degree of surface enrichment of 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium-based ionic liquids (ILs). Using angle-resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, we demonstrate that the degree of surface enrichment strongly decreases with increasing temperature for all the studied ILs. For ILs with the same cation, but different anions, [C8C1Im]Br, [C8C1Im][TfO] and [C8C1Im][Tf2N], no significant differences of the temperature-induced partial loss of surface enrichment are found. Measurements for [C4C1Im][TfO], [C8C1Im][TfO] and [C18C1Im][TfO] indicate a small effect of the chain length. For [C18C1Im][TfO], a continuous decrease of alkyl surface enrichment is found with increasing temperature, with no abrupt changes at the phase-transition temperature from the smectic A to the isotropic phase, indicating that the surface enrichment is not affected by this phase transition. 相似文献

The high-temperature thermal properties of the ternary oxides LiGaO2 and NaGaO2 are studied by simultaneous differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetry between room temperature and about 1700 °C. For the melting temperature of LiGaO2 a value of 1595 ± 10 °C is determined. NaGaO2 undergoes a solid state phase transition at 1280 ± 10 °C and melts at 1395 ± 10 °C. 相似文献

A catalytic desymmetrization of strained alkenes by ring-opening of meso-diazabicycles with acyl anion nucleophiles is reported. Densely functionalized trans-1,2-hydrazinoacyl cyclopentene building blocks are obtained stereoselectively. COMPASS is a fixed target experiment at CERN studying nucleon spin structure in polarised deep inelastic muon nucleon scattering and hadron spectroscopy using hadron beams. The main goal of the COMPASS spin physics program is the measurement of the helicity contribution of the gluons to the nucleon spin, ΔG. This quantity is accessible via the photon-gluon-fusion process which can be selected by open charm production or production of hadron pairs with large transverse momenta. The spin physics program of COMPASS includes also measurements with a transversely polarised target. These allow to measure the transverse structure function.COMPASS has up to now successfully finished three runs with a muon beam of 160 GeV and a longitudinally polarized6LiD target in the years 2002, 2003 and 2004. An overview of the physics addressed by the muon program, with an emphasis on the ΔG/G measurement will be presented. The transonic potential flow problem is handled as a variational problem over a closed convex set which is given by a bound for the gas velocity and by a local entropy condition. Operator geometric stable laws are the weak limits of operator normed and centered geometric random sums of independent, identically distributed random vectors. They generalize operator stable laws and geometric stable laws. In this work we characterize operator geometric stable distributions, their divisibility and domains of attraction, and present their application to finance.
