Geometry and time scale of structural relaxation of poly(n-alkylmethacrylates) above the glass transition is studied by temperature dependent one- and two-dimensional 13C-NMR spectroscopy. The geometry of the isotropization of the polymer backbone as deduced from detailed analysis of spectral line shapes is identified as random angular jumps. Analysis of echo decays confirms that at a given temperature this isotropization can adequately be described with a single correlation time. The results are discussed in terms of conformational memory and local structure recently identified in these polymeric glasses. 相似文献

An optically pumped, high-power, single-frequency semiconductor disk laser is demonstrated. A thin (50 microm) diamond bonded to an InGaAsP gain chip provides the combined functions of heat removal and spectral filtering, thus eliminating the need for the additional intracavity etalons that are usually employed for single-frequency operation. In a short cavity (4 mm) configuration we obtained a maximum output power of 470 mW at 0 degrees C and 170 mW at 20 degrees C in a near-diffraction-limited beam (M2 < 1.2). The gas phase infrared spectrum of monoisotopic H3Si37Cl has been reinvestigated in the ν1/ν4 region near 2200 cm−1, using a Fourier transform spectrometer, with a nominal resolution of 0.0027 cm−1. The rovibrational analysis confirms, besides the weak Coriolis x, y resonance between the (v1 = 1) and (v4 = 1) levels, the existence of two strong local perturbations in the ν4 band. These are caused by rotational (Δk = Δl = ±1) type resonances with and , respectively. Another local perturbation of the 12 ? KΔK ? 14 subbands of the ν4 band, probably due to a (Δk = Δl = ±1) interaction with , was detected and analyzed. All these local perturbations have been studied individually using a simple model of two interacting sublevels. Without the transitions involved in the local perturbations, more than 2000 lines of the ν1/ν4 band system were used to obtain a complete set of vibration-rotation parameters set for the v1 = 1 and v4 = 1 states. By means of a band contour simulation, both the transition moment ratio ∣M4:M1∣ = 1.25 and a positive sign of the Coriolis intensity perturbation were determined.The present results, together with the accurate existing data for ν2, ν3, ν5, and ν6 bands, allowed us to derive the experimental values, Ae = 2.8722945(37) cm−1 and Be = 0.2182248(22) cm−1, which are compared with those of ab initio calculations. 相似文献

An optical measuring technique is presented allowing the exact in‐situ measurement of local particle flux densities in a confined channel flow by counting single particles penetrating an optically well defined measuring volume. This enables a precise flux determination up to the direct vicinity of planar walls. The measurement set‐up and its calibration as well as the whole test facility are described in detail. This measurement technique is used to study the particle transport in electrostatic precipitators. Exemplarily, results of particle flux profiles as well as precipitation, as gained from balances of parts of the precipitator channel, are presented. The replacement of a point dipole and a point quadrupole by a corresponding linear arrangement of two point charges (+q, ?q) and accordingly three point charges (+q, ?2q, +q) is studied with respect to vapour–liquid equilibria. The dependence of saturated liquid density, vapour pressure and heat of vaporization on the choice of the distance d between the charges in the point charge arrangement is analysed. For the studied dipolar two-centre Lennard-Jones (2CLJD) and quadrupolar two-centre Lennard-Jones (2CLJQ) models, d/σ between 1/15 and 1/20 is a reasonable compromise between numerical and physical accuracy, where σ is the Lennard-Jones size parameter. The results are used to derive validated partial charge based models of 59 real fluids from previously published point dipole and point quadrupole based models. 相似文献

The longitudinal Zeeman effect of the 2 E ←4 A 2 transition of the Cr+3 ion in single crystals of 2[Cr(en)3Cl3] . KCl . 6H2O has been measured using circularly polarized light as a function of magnetic field strength between 0 and 160 kgauss at ~80 K. The g factor for the ground state was determined to be g ‖(4 A 2) = 2·01±0·05, in agreement with the E.S.R.-determined value. The ratio between the excited state g values and that of the ground state was determined; using the value g ‖(4 A 2) = 1·99, the g factors g ‖(2) = 2·61±0·04 and g ‖() = 1·47±0·04 were obtained. 相似文献

Abstract We have measured the Raman spectra of the quasi-one-dimensional crystal SbSBr as a function of pressure at 295, 70, 37 and 25 K. The pressure coefficients of the observed Raman modes have been determined and used to distinguish inter-from intrachain modes. Spectral features characteristic of the ferroelectric phase have been attributed to impurities or lattice imperfections and not to the presence of the ferroelectric phase, providing indication that the para-to ferroelectric phase transition occurs below 25 K. 相似文献

The linear complementarity problem is to find nonnegative vectors which are affinely related and complementary. In this paper we propose a new complementary pivoting algorithm for solving the linear complementarity problem as a more efficient alternative to the algorithms proposed by Lemke and by Talman and Van der Heyden. The algorithm can start at an arbitrary nonnegative vector and converges under the same conditions as Lemke's algorithm.This research is part of the VF-program Competition and Cooperation. 相似文献

Five low-lying negative parity states of103Rh up to 1277 keV excitation energy were observed to be Coulomb excited with 2·5–4·5 MeV protons. The de-excitation gamma rays from these levels were identified in the singles spectra recorded with a 57 cc Ge(Li) detector. The level energies, branching ratios, reduced transition probabilitiesB(E2) and the multipole mixing ratios () were obtained. The 880, 1106 and 1277 keV levels have been Coulomb excited with protons for the first time. The ambiguity in theJ
values for 803 and 1106 keV levels have been resolved using 2-fits, the assigned spin values are 1/2– and 5/2–, respectively. The-values for 474·1 and 811·2 keV transitions were obtained for the first time. The results have been discussed in the light of previously reported results.The authors wish to thank Professor I. M.
