The characteristics of the X‐ray attenuation in electrospun nano(n)‐ and micro(m)‐Bi2O3/polylactic acid (PLA) nanofibre mats with different Bi2O3 loadings were compared as a function of energy using mammography (i.e. tube voltages of 22–49 kV) and X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) (7–20 keV). Results indicate that X‐ray attenuation by electrospun n‐Bi2O3/PLA nanofibre mats is distinctly higher than that of m‐Bi2O3/PLA nanofibre mats at all energies investigated. In addition, with increasing filler loading (n‐Bi2O3 or m‐Bi2O3), the porosity of the nanofibre mats decreased, thus increasing the X‐ray attenuation, except for the sample containing 38 wt% Bi2O3 (the highest loading in the present study). The latter showed higher porosity, with some beads formed, thus resulting in a sudden decrease in the X‐ray attenuation.  相似文献

We study the energy cascade problematic for some nonlinear Schrödinger equations on ${\mathbb{T}^2}$ in terms of the growth of Sobolev norms. We define the notion of long-time strong instability and establish its connection to the existence of unbounded Sobolev orbits. This connection is then explored for a family of cubic Schrödinger nonlinearities that are equal or closely related to the standard polynomial one ${|u|^2u}$ . Most notably, we prove the existence of unbounded Sobolev orbits for a family of Hamiltonian cubic nonlinearities that includes the resonant cubic NLS equation (a.k.a. the first Birkhoff normal form).  相似文献

A new approach of chemical bath deposition (CBD) of SnO2 thin films is reported. Films with a 0.2 μm thickness are obtained using the multi-dip deposition approach with a deposition time as little as 8–10 min for each dip. The possibility of fabricating a transparent conducting oxide layer of Cd2SnO4 thin films using CBD is investigated through successive layer deposition of CBD-SnO2 and CBD-CdO films, followed by annealing at different temperatures. High quality films with transmittance exceeding 80% in the visible region are obtained. Annealed CBD-SnO2 films are orthorhombic, highly stoichiometric, strongly adhesive, and transparent with an optical band gap of ~4.42 eV. Cd2SnO4 films with a band gap as high as 3.08 eV; a carrier density as high as 1.7 × 1020 cm?3; and a resistivity as low as 1.01 × 10?2 Ω cm are achieved.  相似文献

Gafchromic EBT2, Radiochromic film is assessed for its change in optical density response to x-ray radiation over a broad energy range, from low energy kilovoltage to megavoltage x-rays. A small energy dependence was found with variations in the change in optical density when scanned in the red component of a desktop scanner light source per unit dose of 6.5% from 50 kVp to 10 MV. This produces a slightly smaller and thus even more energy independent film than its predecessor, EBT film whose response varied by 7.7% over the same energy range. The energy response peaked at 100 kVp with a 5% over response compared to 6 MV x-rays and the minimum response found at both 50 kVp and 250 kVp being a 1.5% under response. It should be noted that the shape of the energy dependence response curve increases from 50 kVp up to 100 kVp followed by a decrease through to higher energies whilst the original EBT was found to increase in response from 50 kVp through to 10 MV. A reflected net optical density change of 0.215 ± 0.006 OD for the first Gray of radiation was found for EBT2 analysed in reflection mode at 6 MV x-ray energy. The minimal energy dependence of the EBT2 film provides further enhancement compared to EBT for its accuracy with respect to spectral changes in the beam to measure beams such as IMRT where complex field and multileaf collimator configurations exist causing small spectral changes to occur over the treatment field or at depth where spectral changes also occur.  相似文献

Gafchromic XRQA, radiochromic film is a high sensitivity auto developing x-ray analysis films designed and available for kilovoltage x-ray, dose and QA assessment applications. The film is designed for reflective analysis with a yellow transparent top filter and white opaque backing materials. This allows the film to be visually inspected for colour changes with a higher level of contrast than clear coated radiochromic films such as Gafchromic EBT version 1. The spectral absorption properties in the visible wavelengths have been investigated and results show two main peaks in absorption located at 636 nm and 585 nm. These peaks are located in the same position as EBT Gafchromic film highlighting a similar chemical monomer/polymer for radiation sensitivity. A much higher sensitivity however is found at kilovoltage energies with an average 1.55 OD units per 20 cGy irradiation variation measured at 636 nm using 150 kVp x-rays. This is compared to approximately 0.12 OD units per 20 cGy measured at 636 nm for EBT film at 6 MV x-ray energy. That is, the XRQA film is more than 10 times more sensitive than EBT1 film. The visual colour change is enhanced by the yellow polyester coating. However this does not affect the absorption spectra properties in the red region of analysis which is the main area for use using desktop scanners in reflection mode.  相似文献

Se75S25−xCdx is a promising ternary material, which has received considerable attention due to its applications in the fabrication of various solid state devices. These have distinct advantages, large packing density, mass replication, fast data rate, high signal-to-noise ratio and high immunity to defects. Measurements of optical constants (absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary part of the dielectric constant) have been made on Se75S25−xCdx (where x = 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8) thin films of thickness 3000 Å as a function of photon energy in the wave length range 400–1000 nm. It has been found that the optical band gap and extinction coefficient increases while the value refractive index decreases on incorporation of cadmium in Se–S system. The results are interpreted in terms of the change in concentration of localized states due to the shift in Fermi level. Due to the large absorption coefficient and compositional dependence of reflectance, these materials may be suitable for optical disk material.  相似文献

Fungal–bacterial co-culturing is a potential technique for the production of secondary metabolites with antibacterial activity. Twenty-nine fungal species were screened in a co-culture with carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae at different temperatures. A temperature of 37 ° showed inhibition of bacterial growth. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing for K. pneumoniae was conducted to compare antibiotic resistance patterns before and after the co-culture. Genotypic comparison of the K. pneumonia was performed using next generation sequencing (NGS). It was shown that two out of five K. pneumoniae, with sequence type ST 101 isolates, lost bla-OXA48, bla-CTX-M-14, tir, strA and strB genes after the co-culture with Scopulariopsis brevicaulis fungus. The other three isolates (ST 383 and 147) were inhibited in the co-culture but did not show any changes in resistance. The total ethyl acetate extract of the fungal–bacterial co-culture was tested against K. pneumoniae using a disc diffusion method. The concentration of the crude extract was 0.97 mg/µL which resulted in total inhibition of the bacteria. Using chromatographic techniques, the purified compounds were identified as 11-octadecenoic acid, 2,4-Di-tert-butylphenol, 2,3-Butanediol and 9-octadecenamide. These were tested against K. pneumoniae using the well diffusion method at a concentration of 85 µg/µL which resulted in total inhibition of bacteria. The co-culture results indicated that bacteria under chemical stress showed variable responses and induced fungal secondary metabolites with antibacterial activities.  相似文献

The SARS-CoV-2 virus, which caused the COVID-19 infection, was discovered two and a half years ago. It caused a global pandemic, resulting in millions of deaths and substantial damage to the worldwide economy. Currently, only a few vaccines and antiviral drugs are available to combat SARS-CoV-2. However, there has been an increase in virus-related research, including exploring new drugs and their repurposing. Since discovering penicillin, natural products, particularly those derived from microbes, have been viewed as an abundant source of lead compounds for drug discovery. These compounds treat bacterial, fungal, parasitic, and viral infections. This review incorporates evidence from the available research publications on isolated and identified natural products derived from microbes with anti-hepatitis, anti-herpes simplex, anti-HIV, anti-influenza, anti-respiratory syncytial virus, and anti-SARS-CoV-2 properties. About 131 compounds with in vitro antiviral activity and 1 compound with both in vitro and in vivo activity have been isolated from microorganisms, and the mechanism of action for some of these compounds has been described. Recent reports have shown that natural products produced by the microbes, such as aurasperone A, neochinulin A and B, and aspulvinone D, M, and R, have potent in vitro anti-SARS-CoV-2 activity, targeting the main protease (Mpro). In the near and distant future, these molecules could be used to develop antiviral drugs for treating infections and preventing the spread of disease.  相似文献

Trialkyl and triaryl phosphines are important classes of ligands in the field of catalysis and materials research. The wide usability of these low-valent phosphines has led to the design and development of new synthesis routes for a variety of phosphines. In the present work, we report the synthesis and characterization of some mixed arylalkyl tertiary phosphines via the Grignard approach. A new asymmetric phosphine is characterized extensively by multi-spectroscopic techniques. IR and UV–Vis spectra of some selected compounds are also compared and discussed. Density functional theory (DFT)-calculated results support the formation of the new compounds.  相似文献
