A modified carbon paste electrode was constructed for the determination of dissolved oxygen using diamino‐o‐benzoquinone (DABQ) as the modifier. The electrochemical behavior of the electrode in citrate buffer (pH 2.0) was studied. In the presence of dissolved oxygen (DO) both cathodic and anodic peak currents decreased, indicating a chemical reaction between modifier and O2. The decrease in peak current was linearly proportional to the amount of dissolved oxygen in the concentration range of 252–1260 μM of DO. The electrode was utilized in the determination of DO in urine samples. The relative error and RSD of the method were 1.6% and 4.1%, respectively. The electrode was applied more than two months for the determination of DO without any significant divergence in its voltammetric response. 相似文献

A simple, sensitive and selective flotation method is described for the preconcentration and atomic absorption spectrometric
determination of zinc ion in water and blood samples. At a solution pH of 5.2, 4-(2-pyridylazo-resorcinol) and Triton X-114
were used as hydrophobic ligand and non-ionic surfactant, respectively. The chemical variables affecting the preconcentration
process were optimized. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the selective preconcentration and determination of as
low zinc concentration as 6.5 μg L−1 can be made. The proposed method was successfully applied to the preconcentration and low-level determination of zinc in
different water and blood serum samples.

The polyethylene fibers containing Ag nanoparticles were prepared through the chemical reduction under ultrasound irradiation. The effect of reducing reagent, power of ultrasound irradiation, reaction time and temperature in growth of the nanometric Ag were studied. Particle sizes and morphology of nanoparticle are depending on power of ultrasound irradiation. Results show a decrease in the particles size as increasing power of ultrasound irradiation. Also, an increase in temperature led to increase of particle size.
