In this article developing incompressible viscous flow in an eccentric curved annulus in the presence of gravity is numerically studied using a second order finite difference method based on the projection algorithm to solve the governing equations including the continuity and full Navier–Stokes equations. The equations written in a bipolar–toroidal coordinate system are discretized in a three dimensional staggered grid. The effects of governing non-dimensional parameters including the eccentricity, non-dimensional curvature ratio, Dean number, Froude number, aspect ratio, and the Reynolds number on the flow field in the entrance and fully developed region are investigated. The numerical results indicate that at the small Froude numbers, the flow field distorts from the symmetrical condition due to the larger body force effect and the axial velocity formation mostly takes place at the lower half of the annulus. In addition, at the constant Froude number, by decreasing the curvature radius, the peak axial velocity and its sharp gradient appear on the outer curvature region due to the larger centrifugal forces and by increasing the eccentricity the flow rate intensifies at the wider region and weakens at the narrower region due to the larger flow resistance. Furthermore, the friction factor increases by decreasing the Froude number and increasing the Dean number.  相似文献

Designing and introducing novel wheel-shaped supramolecular as host complexes with new magnetic properties is the theme of the day. So in this study, new eight binuclear chromium (III) complexes, as models of real chromium-wheel host complexes, were designed based on changing of bridged-ligands and exchange coupling constants (J) of them were calculated using the broken symmetry density functional theory approach. Substitution of fluorine ligand in fluoro-bridged model [Cr2F(tBuCO2)2(H2O)2(OH)4]?1 by halogen anions (Cl?, Br? and I? ) decreased the antiferromagnetic exchange coupling between Cr(III) centres such that by going from F? to I? the J values became more positive. In the case of hydroxo-bridged model [Cr2OH(tBuCO2)2(H2O)2(OH)4]?1, replacement of hydroxyl by methoxy anion (OMe?) strengthened the antiferromagnetic property of the complex but substitution by sulfanide (SH?) and amide (NH2?) anions weakened it and changed the nature of complexes to ferromagnetic. Because of their different magnetic properties, these new investigated complexes can be suggested as interesting synthetic targets. Also, the J value changes due to ligand substitution were evaluated and it was found that the Cr–X bond strength and partial charges of involved atoms were the most effective factors on it.  相似文献

A novel nano-size MnxOy/clinoptilolite catalyst of high activity for propane-SCR reaction of NOx at low temperatures has been synthesized by a hydrothermal method in a temperature range of 80–180 °C. The optimum synthesis temperature resulting in maximum NOx conversion was 150 °C. An optimum manganese oxide loading of 0.2 wt.% results in the best catalytic behavior (71% NOx conversion). All catalysts exhibited an optimal propane-SCR reaction temperature of 200 °C. The optimum catalyst produces no detectable CO (GHSV 27,000 h) at 200 °C. Manganese in the optimum catalyst exists as Mn2+ (37.8%), Mn3+ (14.2%), and Mn4+ (48%).

A facile, efficient and eco‐friendly catalytic protocol was developed for the synthesis of medicinally important pyran‐annulated heterocycles via multicomponent reaction (MCR). Cyclocondensation of differently substituted aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile/ethyl cyanoacetate and various β‐dicarbonyl compounds in the presence of Ag3[PMo12O40]?nH2O as heterogeneous catalyst, in EtOH–H2O, afforded diverse pyran‐fused chromene analogues. The merits observed for this approach were it being conducted via MCR, using commercially available or easily accessible starting materials in the presence of a green and easily separable heterogeneous and reusable catalyst, and affording high yields of desired products in very short reaction times with high purity in one‐pot fashion, thus providing a superior alternative approach for the synthesis of pyran‐annulated heterocycles.  相似文献
