We investigate a two-dimensional network simulator that models the dynamics of two-phase immiscible bulk flow where film flow can be neglected. We present a method for simulating the detailed dynamical process where the two phases are allowed to break up into bubbles, and bubbles are allowed to merge together. The notions of drainage and imbibition are not adequate to describe this process since there is no clear front between the fluids. In fact, the simulator is constructed so that one can study the behaviour of the system far from inlets and outlets, where the two fluids have been mixed together so much that all initial fronts have broken up. The simulator gives the fractional flow as a function of the saturation of each of the fluids. For the case of two fluids with equal viscosity, we classify flow regimes that are parametrized by the capillary number.  相似文献

This work is based on ideas of Ili? [A. Ili?, The energy of unitary Cayley graphs, Linear Algebra Appl. 431 (2009) 1881-1889] on the energy of unitary Cayley graph. For a finite commutative ring R with unity , the unitary Cayley graph of R is the Cayley graph whose vertex set is R and the edge set is {{a,b}:a,bRanda-bR×}, where R× is the group of units of R. We study the eigenvalues of the unitary Cayley graph of a finite commutative ring and some gcd-graphs and compute their energy. Moreover, we obtain the energy for the complement of unitary Cayley graphs.  相似文献

We investigate the Gnedenko system with one repairman who can take vacations. Our main focus is on the time asymptotic behaviour of the system. Using C 0-semigroup theory for linear operators we first prove the well-posedness of the system and the existence of a unique positive dynamic solution given an initial value. Then by analysing the spectral distribution of the system operator and taking into account the irreducibility of the semigroup generated by the system operator we show that the dynamic solution converges strongly to the steady state solution. Thus we obtain asymptotic stability of the dynamic solution.  相似文献

Prediction of forming limit in sheet metal forming is among the most important challenges confronting researchers. In this paper, a fully coupled elastic-plastic-damage model has been developed and implemented into an explicit code. Due to the adoption of the plane stress and finite strain theories, model can predict deformation and damage of parts quickly and accurately. Also, damage initiation, propagation, and fracture in some operations are predicted and validated with experiments. It is concluded that finite strain combined with continuum damage mechanics can be used as a quick tool to predict ductile damage, fracture, and forming limits in sheet metal forming processes.  相似文献

Flow injection (FI) system incorporating a microcolumn of immobilized diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) on surfactant-coated alumina was combined with atomic absorption spectrometry for on-line trace enrichment and determination of silver in different matrices. Silver was deposited on the microcolumn by processing a standard or solution of analyte at pH 3-4 on the column. Injection of 250 μl of ethanol then served to elute the retained species to atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). A sample volume of 20 ml resulted in a pre-concentration factor of 125, and precision at the 20 μg l−1 was 4% (R.S.D.). The procedure was applied to tap water, well water, rain water, sea water, radiology film, and lead concentrate samples. The accuracy was assessed through recovery experiments, independent analysis by furnace-AAS, and analysis of certified reference material.  相似文献

The present study aimed to examine the chemical composition and biological activity of essential oils extracted from Euphorbia macrorrhiza collected from Northwest China. The major constituents of the essential oils of aerial parts and roots of E. macrorrhiza are acorenone B (16.72% and 25.80%), (+)-cycloisosativene (14.94% and 12.40%), 3a-hydroxy-5b-androstane (10.62% and 5.52%), copaene (7.37% and 6.29%), l-calamenene (4.13% and 4.65%) and β-cedrene (8.40% and 7.98%), respectively. The minor components of them are thymene, γ-terpinene, thymecamphor, α-cedrene, zingiberene, trans-caryophyllene, β-chamigrene, curcumene, pentadecane, (-)-α-muurolene, cuparene, γ-cadinene, (Z)-3-heptadecene, 1,3,7,7-tetramethyl-2-oxabicyclo(4.4.0)dec-5-en-4-one, hexahydrofarnesyl acetone, γ-elixene and palmitinic acid. The antimicrobial and antitumor activitiy of the E. macrorrhiza essential oil against Staphyloccocus aureus, Escherichia coli, Canidia Albicans and Caco-2 cells were evaluated. Among all the tested microorganisms and Caco-2 cells, the essential oils showed the strongest inhibitory effect on Staphyloccocus aureus (MIC = 2.8 μg/mL) and Caco-2 cell (IC?? = 11.86 μg/mL), whereas no effect on Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. The data of this study suggested that the E. macrorrhiza essential oils have great potential as a natural medicine for microbial infections and cancers.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A simple and fast dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic drop has been developed for the separation and preconcentration of malachite green in water samples prior to its determination by flow injection spectrophotometry. Sodium lauryl sulfate, an anionic surfactant, was used for the ion-pair formation with malachite green. The factors affecting the ion-pair formation and extraction were optimized. Under the optimized conditions (volume of 1-undecanol as the extraction solvent, 40 μL; the volume of ethanol as the disperser solvent, 100 μL; sodium lauryl sulfate concentration, 7.5 × 10?7 mol L?1, and the pH of the sample, ~3.0), the calibration graph was linear over the range of 0.8–25 µg L?1 with the detection limit of 0.3 µg L?1 and the preconcentration factor of 750. The relative standard deviation at 7 µg L?1 (n = 6) was found to be 2.1%. The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of malachite green in river water and fish farming water samples.  相似文献
