The synthesis of unsubstituted oligo-para-phenylenes ( OPP ) exceeding para-hexaphenylene—in the literature often referred to as p-sexiphenyl—has long remained elusive due to their insolubility. We report the first preparation of unsubstituted para-nonaphenylenes ( 9PP s) by extending our precursor route to poly-para-phenylenes ( PPP ) to a discrete oligomer. Two geometric isomers of methoxylated syn- and anti-cyclohexadienylenes were synthesized, from which 9PP was obtained via thermal aromatization in thin films. 9PP was characterized via optical, infrared and solid-state 13C NMR spectroscopy as well as atomic force microscopy and mass spectrometry, and compared to polymeric analogues. Due to the lack of substitution, para-nonaphenylene, irrespective of the precursor isomer employed, displays pronounced aggregation in the solid state. Intermolecular excitonic coupling leads to formation of H-type aggregates, red-shifting emission of the films to greenish. 9PP allows to study the structure–property relationship of para-phenylene oligomers and polymers, especially since the optical properties of PPP depend on the molecular shape of the precursor.  相似文献

The spectrum of the undulator radiation of beamline P01 at Petra III has been measured after passing a multiple reflection channel‐cut polarimeter. Odd and even harmonics up to the 15th order, as well as Compton peaks which were produced by the high harmonics in the spectrum, could been measured. These additional contributions can have a tremendous influence on the performance of the polarimeter and have to be taken into account for further polarimeter designs.  相似文献

A 3‐phase Barker array is a matrix of third roots of unity for which all out‐of‐phase aperiodic autocorrelations have magnitude 0 or 1. The only known truly two‐dimensional 3‐phase Barker arrays have size 2 × 2 or 3 × 3. We use a mixture of combinatorial arguments and algebraic number theory to establish severe restrictions on the size of a 3‐phase Barker array when at least one of its dimensions is divisible by 3. In particular, there exists a double‐exponentially growing arithmetic function T such that no 3‐phase Barker array of size with exists for all . For example, , , and . A wealth of studies have confirmed that the low‐field hysteresis behaviour of ferroelectric bulk ceramics and thin films can be described using Rayleigh relations, and irreversible domain wall motion across the array of pining defects has been commonly accepted as the underlying micro‐mechanism. Recently, HfO2 thin films incorporated with various dopants were reported to show pronounced ferroelectricity, however, their microscopic domain structure remains unclear till now. In this work, the effects of the applied electric field amplitude, frequency and temperature on the sub‐coercive polarization reversal properties were investigated for 10 nm thick Si‐doped HfO2 thin films. The applicability of the Rayleigh law to ultra‐thin ferroelectric films was first confirmed, indicating the existence of a multi‐domain structure. Since the grain size is about 20–30 nm, a direct observation of domain walls within the grains is rather challenging and this indirect method is a feasible approach to resolve the domain structure. Flavonoids are a large group of plant secondary metabolites with a variety of biological properties and are therefore of interest to many scientists, as they can lead to industrially interesting intermediates. The anaerobic gut bacterium Eubacterium ramulus can catabolize flavonoids, but until now, the pathway has not been experimentally confirmed. In the present work, a chalcone isomerase (CHI) and an enoate reductase (ERED) could be identified through whole genome sequencing and gene motif search. These two enzymes were successfully cloned and expressed in Escherichia coli in their active form, even under aerobic conditions. The catabolic pathway of E. ramulus was confirmed by biotransformations of flavanones into dihydrochalcones. The engineered E. coli strain that expresses both enzymes was used for the conversion of several flavanones, underlining the applicability of this biocatalytic cascade reaction.  相似文献

Mesoporous M‐TiO2 NCs, functionalized by PATP, can capture toxic anilines and phenols by azo coupling. Loading these nanodevices with Ag NPs offers the possibility for a sensitive quantitative determination of target compounds by SERRS spectroscopy, which allows multiplex detection because of the specific vibrational fingerprints. Sensitivity and selectivity can be further enhanced by concentrating the hybrid particles by an external magnet and compound‐specific binding (anilines versus phenols). The bound toxic compounds can be degraded by TiO2‐assisted photocatalysis after removal of the loaded hybrid particles from the sample solution with an external magnet. The degradation process can be enhanced in the presence of plasmonic Ag nanostructures.  相似文献

Two literature‐known TIPS‐ethynyl‐dibromoacenes were prepared and employed to synthesize cyclotrimers by using Yamamoto coupling conditions. Two large, well‐soluble starphenes were isolated in good yields. Crystallographic characterization verifies the triangular shape and shows significant differences in crystal packing.  相似文献

Unprecedented phosphine-catalyzed [4+1] cycloadditions of allenyl imides have been discovered using various N-based substrates including methyl ketimines, enamines, and a primary amine. These transformations provide a one-pot access to cyclopentenoyl enamines and imines, or (chiral) γ-lactams through two geminal C−C bond or two C−N bond formations, respectively. Several P-based key intermediates including a 1,4-(bis)electrophilic α,β-unsaturated ketenyl phosphonium species have been detected by 31P NMR and HRMS analyses, which shed light on the postulated catalytic cycle. The synthetic utility of this new chemistry has been demonstrated through a gram-scaling up of the catalytic reaction as well as regioselective hydrogenation and double condensation to form cyclopentanoyl enamines and fused pyrazole building blocks, respectively.  相似文献

Long-chain aliphatic amines such as (S,Z)-heptadec-9-en-7-amine and 9-aminoheptadecane were synthesized from ricinoleic acid and oleic acid, respectively, by whole-cell cascade reactions using the combination of an alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) from Micrococcus luteus, an engineered amine transaminase from Vibrio fluvialis (Vf-ATA), and a photoactivated decarboxylase from Chlorella variabilis NC64A (Cv-FAP) in a one-pot process. In addition, long chain aliphatic esters such as 10-(heptanoyloxy)dec-8-ene and octylnonanoate were prepared from ricinoleic acid and oleic acid, respectively, by using the combination of the ADH, a Baeyer–Villiger monooxygenase variant from Pseudomonas putida KT2440, and the Cv-FAP. The target compounds were produced at rates of up to 37 U g−1 dry cells with conversions up to 90 %. Therefore, this study contributes to the preparation of industrially relevant long-chain aliphatic chiral amines and esters from renewable fatty acid resources.  相似文献

Anhydrous EuII–acetylenedicarboxylate (EuADC; ADC2− = O2C-C≡C-CO2) was synthesized by reaction of EuBr2 with K2ADC or H2ADC in degassed water under oxygen-free conditions. EuADC crystallizes in the SrADC type structure (I41/amd, Z=4) forming a 3D coordination polymer with a diamond-like arrangement of Eu2+ nodes (msw topology including the connecting ADC2− linkers). Deep orange coloured EuADC is stable in air and starts decomposing upon heating in an argon atmosphere only at 440 °C. Measurements of the magnetic susceptibilities (μeff=7.76 μB) and 151Eu Mössbauer spectra (δ=−13.25 mm s−1 at 78 K) confirm the existence of Eu2+ cations. Diffuse reflectance spectra indicate a direct optical band gap of Eg=2.64 eV (470 nm), which is in accordance with the orange colour of the material. Surprisingly, EuADC does not show any photoluminescence under irradiation with UV light of different wavelengths. Similar to SrADC, EuADC exhibits a negative thermal volume expansion below room temperature with a volume expansion coefficient αV=−9.4(12)×10−6 K−1.  相似文献
