Copper supported on magnetite nanoparticles modified with environmentally friendly ligand tricine was devised for synthesis of acetamides via C–C oxidative cleavage of ketones with amines. The catalyst was characterized using different techniques, including Fourier transform infrared, X-ray diffraction, scannin electron microscopy, vibrating sample magnetometry, thermogravimetric analysis, and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy. The protocol showed relatively high yields of acetamide products. Furthermore, the magnetic recovery of the catalyst rendered the overall process fast and efficient. It was used in the reaction for six consecutive cycles with negligible loss of catalytic activity. This research is the first report of application of magnetic nanocatalysts for synthesis of acetamides from ketones of low activity through a C–C bond cleavage strategy.  相似文献

In the present study, paclitaxel (PTX), multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), and doxorubicin (DOX) have been simultaneously doped into the poly(ϵ-caprolactone) (PCL)/chitosan/zein core-shell nanofibers to increase its cytotoxicity for MCF-7 breast cancers killing. The physico-chemical properties of synthesized nanofibers were determined by scanning electron microscope, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, tensile strength, and degradation rate determinations. The in vitro release studies demonstrated the sustained release of drugs from core-shell nanofibrous scaffold. The cytotoxicity and compatibility of core-shell nanofibers were investigated by their treating with MCF-7 breast cancer cells and L929 normal cells, respectively. PCL/PTX/chitosan/zein/MWCNTs/DOX core-shell nanofibers containing 1 wt% MWCNTs, 100 μg ml−1 DOX and 100 μg ml−1 PTX had a high biocompatibility with a 84% MCF-7 cancer cells killing. The in vivo studies revealed the synergic effects of MWCNTs and anticancer drugs on the tumor inhibition. This method could be considered as a new way for developing of MWCNTs loaded-nanofibers for cancer treatment in future.  相似文献

A series of fourteen 2-aryl-3-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-4H-pyrido[3,2-e][1,3]thiazin-4-ones was prepared at room temperature by T3P-mediated cyclization of N-phenyl-C-aryl imines with thionicotinic acid, two difficult substrates. The reactions were operationally simple, did not require specialized equipment or anhydrous solvents, could be performed as either two or three component reactions, and gave moderate–good yields as high as 63%. This provides ready access to N-phenyl compounds in this family, which have been generally difficult to prepare. As part of the study, the first crystal structure of neutral thionicotinic acid is also reported, and showed the molecule to be in the form of the thione tautomer. Additionally, the synthesized compounds were tested against T. brucei, the causative agent of Human African Sleeping Sickness. Screening at 50 µM concentration showed that five of the compounds strongly inhibited growth and killed parasites.  相似文献

Nowadays, mixed metal oxide (MMO) anodes are a superior alternative to lead alloys in electrowinning processes. Passivation of titanium substrate is the most common mechanism of deactivation in these anodes. In this research, titanium oxide nanotubes have been utilised as an interlayer between the substrate and a mixed metal oxide coating in order to improve the anode electrochemical behaviour and life via retardation of titanium passivation. Anodising of the substrate was done in 0.5 wt% hydrofluoric acid for 30, 60 and 240 min. The samples were subsequently coated with a coating composed of IrO2-RuO2-Ta2O5. The microstructure of different samples was observed by scanning with an electron microscope, and the electrochemical behaviour of the samples was studied by accelerated life test, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The studies showed that formation of titanium oxide nanotubes with anodising times of 60 and 240 min increases the life of the anode through the provision of a compact coating. The life of the anode which was anodised for 240 min lasted about 20% longer than the sample which had a substrate without any anodised layer.  相似文献

We present an analysis of membrane motion of deformable capsules and red blood cells suspended in a linear shear flow and undergoing swinging and tumbling motions using three-dimensional numerical simulations. This study is motivated by the theory of the shape-preserving cells which predicts that the direction of the membrane rotation depends on the cell orientation and reverses at every 45° inclination angle of the cell major axis with respect to the external flow direction. By considering large deformation of capsules and red blood cells, here we investigate how the shape oscillation affects the time dependence and the direction reversal of the membrane rotation. We find that the membrane tank-tread is highly time-dependent in nature and synchronized with the time-dependent deformation. The maximum and minimum of the tank-tread velocity occur at and near the minimum and maximum deformation, respectively. For the swinging capsules and red blood cells, the direction of the membrane rotation is always along the direction of the external fluid rotation; however, a direction reversal occurs during the tumbling motion in which case the membrane rotates in the direction of the external fluid rotation when the major axis is mostly in the extensional quadrant of the shear flow, and in the opposite direction when it is mostly in the compressional quadrant. Unlike the theory which predicts the direction reversal at every 45° inclination angle irrespective of the control parameters, namely, the capillary number, viscosity ratio, and asphericity, we find that the angle at which the direction reversal occurs depends on these parameters. In particular, if the tumbling motion occurs by decreasing the capillary number, the membrane rotation is in the direction of the external flow rotation in the entire extensional quadrant, but in the opposite direction in the compressional quadrant, irrespective of the specific values of the capillary number. If the tumbling motion occurs by increasing the viscosity ratio and asphericity, the angle at which the direction reversal occurs depends on the specific values of these two parameters. The spatial variation of the tank-tread velocity also is analyzed and attributed to the straining motion of the external flow.   相似文献

Hydrogel‐forming copolymers based on chitosan grafted with different amounts of polyacrylamide were synthesized and its swelling capacity determined in distilled water, sodium chloride solutions, as well as in buffer solutions at pH 1.2 and 8.0. The resulting products are highly efficient as hydrogel‐forming materials with swelling at equilibrium going approximately from 300 to 3 000 times the volume of the dry solid polymer in all the investigated media. The products, different to usual hydrogels, swells considerably more and quickly in electrolyte‐containing solutions compared to in distilled water. This has been attributed to their structure that contains non‐ionic polyacrylamide macromolecules grafted onto the trunk polymer chitosan, which is cationic in nature. In‐vitro drug‐release behavior of formulations containing grafted copolymers have been tested using theophylline as a water‐soluble drug and the results were compared with similar formulations containing unmodified chitosan. It was found that tablets based on formulations containing grafted chitosan show higher erosion and swelling compared with those of the matrix based on unmodified chitosan, leading to a higher fraction of theophylline released. It can be concluded that formulations based on the synthesized copolymers are potentially useful for fluid absorbency and as prolonged drug‐release matrices.

In this paper, we have theoretically studied dynamics of a semiconductor quantum dot (QD) laser for enhancing its small signal and large signal modulation as a function of compression gain. We have considered InGaAs/GaAs QD laser rate equations and solved this equation system numerically. We have revealed that a diminution in compression gain leads to an improvement in frequency bandwidth for this three state lasing system. We also have calculated turn on delay and output power that obviously indicates the effect of compression gain on relaxation oscillations.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of hybrid flowshop scheduling. First, we review the shortcoming of the available model in the literature. Then, four different mathematical models are developed in form of mixed integer linear programming models. A complete experiment is conducted to compare the models for performance based on the size and computational complexities. Besides the models, the paper proposes a novel hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm equipped with an acceptance criterion and a local search heuristic. The features provide a fine balance of diversification and intensification capabilities for the algorithm. Using Taguchi method, the algorithm is fine tuned. Then, two numerical experiments are performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm with three particle swarm optimization algorithms available in the scheduling literature and one well-known iterated local search algorithm in the hybrid flowshop literature. All the results show the high performance of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献
