Herein we report a fluorescent method for sensitive and selective detection of uranyl ions using CdTe quantum dots functionalized with mercaptopropionic acid, which the fluorescence of the quantum dots could be quantitatively quenched through electron transfer mechanism. The detection limit of the method was estimated to be 4 nM, less than the maximum allowed content of 130 nM for uranyl in drinking water defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Furthermore, the probe was successfully applied in detection of uranyl ions in real samples, demonstrating its potential practical applications for monitoring of uranyl ions in environment. 相似文献

A multicomponent electrochemical sensor, with two nanometer-scale components in sensing matrix/electrode, was used to simultaneous determination of levodopa (LD) and tyramine (TR) in pharmaceutical and diet samples. Multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were used as carbonaceous materials in the electrode construction. 5-amino-3',4'-dimethoxy-biphenyl-2-ol (5ADMB) was used as electron mediator and Pt nanoparticles (nPt) as a catalyst. The 5ADMB catalyzes the oxidation of LD to the corresponding catecholamine, which is electrochemically reduced back to LD. Preparation of this electrode was very simple and modified electrode showed good properties at electrocatalytic oxidization of LD and TR. Using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), a highly selective and simultaneous determination of LD and TR has been explored at the modified electrode. Differential pulse voltammetry peak currents of LD and TR increased linearly with their concentrations at the ranges of 0.50–100.0 μM and 0.60–100.0 μM, respectively. Also, the detection limits for LD and TR were 0.31 and 0.52 μM, respectively. The electrode exhibited an efficient catalytic response with good reproducibility and stability. 相似文献

1-Azabicyclo[3.3.0]oct-3-en-2-one derivatives were synthesized efficiently through the facile cascade reaction of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) or 1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]non-5-ene (DBN) with arylidene azlactones. This research provides a straightforward procedure for the synthesis of a novel class of multicyclic semi-alkaloids which shows good antimicrobial activity. The polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) mixed matrix membrane with dispersed phase of nanozeolite silicalite-1 has been synthesized on polyethersulphone (PES) as a support, and its performance in the gas separation of xenon and krypton has been studied. For this purpose, nanozeolite silicalite-1 is synthesized by the hydrothermal clear solution method and is characterized by XRD and SEM analysis. In this research, the separation performance of MMM has also been compared with the polymeric PDMS membrane. Furthermore, the effect of feed pressure and loading percentage of nanozeolite in the polymeric matrix are evaluated. The results indicate that the addition of nanozeolite to the polymeric matrix improves its separation performance, and that the changes of the feed pressure have no major effect. The average permeability of the krypton and xenon gases through the PDMS polymeric membrane is calculated as 1.25 × 10?9 and 1.78 × 10?9 cm mol/(cm2 s kPa), respectively, while by adding only 5 wt% of nanosilicalite-1 to the polymeric matrix of the membrane, this amount increased to 1.82 × 10?9 and 8.07 × 10?9 cm mol/(cm2 s kPa), respectively. Based on the theory of stabilization of fractional-order LTI interval systems, a simple controller for stabilization of a class of fractional-order chaotic systems is proposed in this paper. We consider the structure of the chaotic systems as fractional-order LTI interval systems due to the limited amplitude of chaotic trajectories. We introduce a simple feedback controller for the interval system and then, based on a recently established theorem for stabilization of interval systems, we reach to a linear matrix inequality (LMI) problem. Solving the LMI yields an appropriate decoupling feedback control law which suffices to bring the chaotic trajectories to the origin. The heat transfer and fluid flow behavior of water based Al2O3 nanofluids are numerically investigated inside a two-sided lid-driven differentially heated rectangular cavity. Physical properties which have major effects on the heat transfer of nanofluids such as viscosity and thermal conductivity are experimentally investigated and correlated and subsequently used as input data in the numerical simulation. Transport equations are numerically solved with finite volume approach using SIMPLEC algorithm. It was found that not only the thermal conductivity but also the viscosity of nanofluids has a key role in the heat transfer of nanofluids. The results show that at low Reynolds number, increasing the volume fraction of nanoparticles increases the viscosity and has a deteriorating effect on the heat transfer of nanofluids. At high Reynolds number, the increase in the viscosity is compensated by force convection and the increase in the volume fraction of nanoparticles which results in an increase in heat transfer is in coincidence with experimental results. 相似文献

A modified glassy carbon electrode has been constructed using a 1-benzyl-4-ferrocenyl-1H-[1,2,3]-triazole along with multiwalled carbon nanotubes. The electrochemical behaviour of modified electrode has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry. Electrocatalytic activity of the modified electrode was investigated for the oxidation of hydroxylamine in 0.1 M phosphate-buffered solution of pH 8. The modified electrode showed electrocatalytic response to the oxidation of hydroxylamine at the potential of 330 mV. The linear range and detection limit for the detection of hydroxylamine in the optimum condition were found to be 4.0?×?10?7 to 6.75?×?10?4 M and 28.0?±?1.0 nM, respectively. A novel carbon paste electrode modified with carbon nanotubes and 5-amino-2′-ethyl -biphenyl-2-ol was fabricated. The electrochemical study of the modified electrode, as well as its efficiency for electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA), is described. The electrode was employed to study the electrocatalytic oxidation of AA, using cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and square-wave voltammetry (SWV) as diagnostic techniques. It has been found that the oxidation of AA at the surface of modified electrode occurs at a potential of about 250 mV less positive than that of an unmodified carbon paste electrode. SWV exhibits a linear dynamic range from 2.0?×?10?7 to 5.0?×?10?4 M and a detection limit of 1.0?×?10?7 M for AA. In addition, this modified electrode was used for simultaneous determination of AA, acetaminophen (AC), and tryptophan (TRP).
