Carbonate-selective membranes were prepared by incorporating a molecular tweezer-type carbonate-selective neutral carrier [N,N-dioctyl-3alpha,12alpha-bis(4-trifluoroacetylbenzyloxy)-5beta-cholan-24-amide] into a room temperature vulcanizing-type silicone rubber (3140 RTV-SR) matrix, and deposited on the planar-type electrodes (Pt containing Ag/AgCl electrodes formed on a ceramic plate) with and without an intermediary conducting polymer layer. Two types of solvent-soluble conducting polymers [poly(1-hexyl-3,4-dimethyl-2,5-pyrrolylene) or poly(3-octylthiophene-2,5-diyl)] have been examined as the solid contact material. Potentiometric properties of the resultant all-solid-state electrodes were evaluated in terms of their carbonate selectivity, response slope, potential stability and reproducibility. The sensitivity and carbonate selectivity of the SR membrane-based all-solid-state electrodes with conducting polymer solid contact were comparable to those of conventional electrodes. Experimental results also showed that the intermediary conducting polymer layer used in the all-solid-state electrodes greatly reduces the interference from dissolved oxygen.  相似文献

The pigments Luteoskyrin (Ls) and Rugulosin (Rg) might adopt a priori two extreme conformations, a planar and an angular one. To determine the predominant conformation in solution, the nature of the lowest energy transition of the chromophores and the presence of intramolecular H-bonding have been investigated. The solvent effects on electronic absorption and CD spectra indicated the π-π* nature of the lowest energy transition. Treatments of the electronic absorption results according to McRae and Kosower relations, IR absorption and PMR spectra suggested the presence of strong intra-molecular H-bonds. From these results it was concluded that Ls and Rg adopted in a variety of solvents the most planar conformation.  相似文献

Raw apple juice exhibits the activity of polyphenol oxidase which can be employed for the determination of mono-, di- and polyhydric phenols. The chemiluminescence detection in the two-channel manifold was used to develop the new procedure for determination of epinephrine. Epinephrine can be determined by this method in pharmaceutical preparations in concentration ranges 1.0–10.0 and 10.0–25.0 mg l−1, with a detection limit of 0.2 mg l−1. Good selectivity against typical antioxidants and other coexisting substances was achieved. Relatively slow loss of the enzyme activity was observed during 1 week. The proposed method is very simple. Fresh juice solution from one apple can be prepared in 10 min and used for at least 8 h with excellent precision. Consumption of luminol solution was 0.15 ml min−1. The throughput was 20 samples per hour.  相似文献

The steady deformation and breakup of emulsion drops in a uniform electric field are considered experimentally. Due to the low volume fraction of inner drops, the emulsions can be effectively assumed as Newtonian fluids with spatial nonuniformity. The measurements of the electrical properties show that the oil-in-water (o/w) emulsion drop behaves like a conducting drop. On the other hand, the water-in-oil (w/o) emulsion drops can be regarded as inhomogeneous leaky dielectric drops. It is found that the viscosity ratio is not an important parameter within the small deformation limit and breakup mode of the o/w emulsion drops. In the case of w/o emulsion drops, however, the breakup mode depends on the viscosity ratio. Inherent nonuniformity of the emulsion drops makes drop more deformable and unstable. The tip-streaming is the dominant breakup mode of o/w emulsion drops when the nonuniformity of drop phase is appreciable. Copyright 1999 Academic Press.  相似文献

A novel dimeric methanodibenzoxocinone, named neosappanone A (1), possessing a unique unprecedented novel carbon framework, has been isolated from the heartwood of Caesalpinia sappan L. of Vietnam, and its structure was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Neosappanone A (1) competitively inhibited xanthine oxidase in a concentration-dependent manner (IC50, 29.7 μM; Ki, 16.3 μM).  相似文献

Anionic polymerization of methyl methacrylate in THF and toluene at ?70° was studied by means of i.r. spectroscopy. The reaction mixtures show characteristic absorption at 1600–1750 cm?1 caused by the stretching vibrations of the propagating centre as well as by the groups obtained in side reactions (metal splitting, addition to a carbonyl group, cyclization). Sec-butyllithium is more effective in THF than n-butyllithium, ethyllithium and fluorenyllithium. When polymerizing in toluene, small amounts of a donor (THF or HMPT) cause formation of active centres similar to those in pure THF. The “living” ends of oligo-MMA form 1:1 complexes with electron acceptors such as trialkylaluminium and triethylboron.  相似文献

The effect of alcohol washing on the anatase-rutile transition of precipitated titanium oxide was investigated using X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier-transform IR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetry. Alcohol (butanol) rinsing accelerated the anatase-rutile transition of precipitated titanium oxide powder so that the onset temperature of transition decreased drastically from 800 degrees C for water-washed powder to 550 degrees C for alcohol-rinsed powder. Alternation of transition kinetics and mechanisms by rinsing media could be confirmed from the analysis of temperature and time dependence of rutile content. The attributability of the chemical state of anatase after crystallization, which contained H(2)O, OH, and organic residues, to the change of transition kinetics with alcohol rinsing will be discussed. Two mechanisms, the effect of residual organics and/or H(2)O(OH), could be suggested on the basis of analysis of the difference between chemical states of water-washed anatase and alcohol-rinsed powder. Fluorine-doped nanocrystalline tin dioxide materials (F:SnO2) have been successfully prepared by the sol-gel process from a single molecular precursor followed by a thermal treatment at 450-650 °C. The resulting materials were characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, nitrogen adsorption porosimetry (BET) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The mean particle size increased from 5 to 20 nm and the specific surface area decreased from 123 to 37 m2/g as the temperature of heat treatment was risen from 450 to 650 °C. Fluorine-doped nanocrystalline SnO2 exhibited capacity of 560, 502, and 702 mA h/g with 48%, 50%, and 40% capacity retention after 25 cycles between 1.2 V and 50 mV at the rate of 25 mA/g, respectively. In comparison, commercial SnO2 showed an initial capacity of 388 mA h/g, with only 23% capacity retention after 25 cycles.  相似文献

Kinetics of the hydrogen abstraction reaction (*)CH(3) + CH(4) --> CH(4) + (*)CH(3) is studied by a direct dynamics method. Thermal rate constants in the temperature range of 300-2500 K are evaluated by the canonical variational transition state theory (CVT) incorporating corrections from tunneling using the multidimensional semiclassical small-curvature tunneling (SCT) method and from the hindered rotations. These results are used in conjunction with the Reaction Class Transition State Theory/Linear Energy Relationship (RC-TST/LER) to predict thermal rate constants of any reaction in the hydrogen abstraction class of (*)CH(3) + alkanes. Our analyses indicate that less than 40% systematic errors on the average exist in the predicted rate constants using the RC-TST/LER method while comparing to explicit rate calculations the differences are less than 100% or a factor of 2 on the average.  相似文献

Key aspects of the microenvironment surrounding the Fe center in the nitrosyl adduct of iron phthalocyanine, [Fe(Pc)(NO)], have been elucidated from the analysis of the Fe K-edge extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) of the material adsorbed on the surface of a high area carbon electrode recorded in situ, in 0.5 M H(2)SO(4). Statistical best fits to the EXAFS data place the Fe center in a five-coordinated square pyramidal configuration shifted away from the Pc plane toward the axially bound NO bent at an angle of ca. 40 degrees with respect to the normal to the Pc plane. This environment is analogous to that of Fe in the nitrosyl adduct of crystalline [Fe(TPP)], where TPP = meso-tetraphenylporphyrinato(2-), determined from X-ray diffraction.  相似文献
