Conformations of 2-methoxytetrahydropyran as a model for the six-membered ring in aldopyranosides have been calculated by the PCILO method using the algorithm of the conjugated gradient to optimize the geometry. The calculated geometry of the fourteen basic forms of 2-methoxytetrahydropyran was found to be in agreement with the available data obtained by X-ray diffraction of pyranosides. The results indicate differences in the geometry of 2-methoxytetrahydropyran resulting from the change of the axial vs. equatorial position of the methoxyl group. These changes are particularly meaningful in the values of bond angles and they are in agreement with the anomeric and exoanomeric effects. The experimentally found differences in the energies of an axial (4 C 1) and equatorial (1 C 4) conformer, G = 2.9–3.7 kJ/mol, and the dipole moment, = 1.20 ± 0.05 D (1D = 3.33 10–30mAs) agree well with the calculated values E = 3.18 kJ/mol and <> = 1.18 D which, in turn, suggest that the axial conformer is preferred over the equatorial one by a ratio a:e = 78:22.  相似文献

Copolymers of 1,2,2,2-tetrachloroethyl esters of unsaturated acids and halogenated N-phenyl maleimides with styrene were pyrolyzed; volatile products were analyzed with a mass spectrometer combined with a gas chromatograph. Hydrogen halide and carbon dioxide in the volatile products were determined during the thermal decomposition of copolymers in glass ampoules; the acyl chloride groups were determined in the residues. The thermal decomposition of copolymers of tetrachloroethyl esters with styrene sets in at ca. 230° by the release of chloral from the copolymer and splitting of some of the CCl bonds in the copolymer. The decomposition of copolymers of styrene with halogenated N-phenyl maleimides starts above 300° by depolymerization of the polystyrene chain sections and by splitting of some of the carbon-halogen bonds. At 310 and 500° for copolymers of tetrachloroethyl esters and at 500° for halogenated N-phenyl maleimides, there is radical dehydrohalogenation of the copolymers, with depolymerization of polystyrene blocks and splitting of carbon-carbon bonds in the main chain.  相似文献

Dilatometrical indication can be employed to the neutralizing reactions of polybasic acids and is demonstrated by the following acid-base couples: H2SO4/NaOH, H3PO4/NaOH and H5JO6/NaOH. With amounts between 0.5 and 4 mMol several, frequently all, equivalence points can be determined with a deviation of less than 0.2%. The determination of the changes of molar volume of the reactions depending on the concentrations allow conclusions as to the course of the reactions.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Mit Hilfe von Gemischen wurden die formalen Redoxpotentials einiger einfacher Aminophenoxazone-(3) und 2-substituierter Gallocyaninmethylesterderivate (Prune) mit den Substituenten — NH-C6H4X [X = H, CH3, OCH3, OH, NH2, N(C2H5)2] in 50%iger Äthanollösung mit einer konstanten Ionenstärke in der Abhängigkeit vom pu bei 25° C gemessen.Die auf pH=0 extrapolierten Potentiale stehen mit den Hammetschen -Konstanten in guter Korrelation.
Summary With the aid of mixtures the formal redox potentials of several simple aminophenoxazones-(3) and 2-substituted gallocyaninmethylester derivates (Prunes) with the substituents -NH-C6H4X [X = H, CH3, OCH3, OH, NH2, N(C2H5)2] were measured in 50% ethanol solution with a constant ionic strength with respect to the dependence of pn at 25° C. The potentials extrapolated to pn = 0 are in good correlation with the Hammet -constants.

The thermal treatment of the pentafluorophenyl derivativesM(C6F5)2Dxn [M=Pd (n=2, 3) or Pt (n=2); Dx=dioxane] leads to the formation of the new dioxane adducts M(C6F5)2Dx (M=Pd, Pt) and Pt(C6F5)2Dx1.5. Calculations of the order of reaction and the activation energy of some of the decomposition reactions are described. The values were determined by the Coats-Redfern and Freeman-Carroll methods. Structural data on the isolated intermediates were obtained by infrared spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements.
Zusammenfassung Die thermische Behandlung der PentafluorphenylderivateM(C6F5)2Dxn [M=Pd (n=2, 3) oder Pt (n=2); Dx=Dioxan] führt zu der Bildung der neuen DioxanaddukteM(C6F5)2Dx (M=Pd, Pt) und Pt(C6F5)2Dx1.5. Die Berechnungen der Reaktionsordnung und der Aktivierungsenergie einiger Zersetzungsreaktionen werden beschrieben. Die Werte wurden durch die Methoden von Coats-Redfern und Freeman-Carroll bestimmt. Die Strukturangaben der isolierten Zwischenprodukte wurden durch Infrarotspektroskopie und Messung der magnetischen Suszeptibilität erhalten.

θ-Conditions, the temperature coefficient of unperturbed dimensions of the macromolecules and the thermodynamic interaction parameters ψ and κ were determined for solutions of poly(methyl methacrylate) in 2-alkoxyethanols (methoxy, ethoxy and butoxy). The results for this series of solvents fit the data reported for other solvents and dln r02/dT = 2.6 × 10?3K?1. The dependence of parameters ψ and κ exhibited deviations from the theoretical dependence, mainly near the limiting value ψ = 0.5.  相似文献

GeO reacts with F2 in an argon matrix after photolysis with a high-pressure mercury lamp to form OGeF2. Isotopic splitting (16O/18O and 70Ge/72Ge/74Ge) and force constant calculations show that the fundamentals observed can be assigned to a planar molecule OGeF2. The value of the force constant of the GeO double bond, 7.43 × 102 N m?1, is as expected (GeO2 7.32 × 102 N m?1), but the GeF bond is unexpectedly weak (fGeF = 5.01 × 102 N m?1).  相似文献

The crystal structures and thermal behaviour of [Cu(py)2(NCS)2] (at 293) and [Cu(4-Mepy)2(NCS)2] and 180 K) complexes have been compared with their different temperature behaviour. It was found that the thermal stability of coordinated thiocyanate ligands in the course of thermal decomposition depends not only on the properties of the ligand L, but it is related to the arrangement of the thiocyanatocopper chains in the crystal structures.  相似文献

Summary The reactions of divalent nickel and copper salts with the Schiff base derived from 2-(2-aminophenyl)benzimidazole and benzaldehyde, L, yield complexes of general formulae [CuL2X2] (X=Cl, Br, or ClO4), [CuL(SO4)], [CuL(SO4)] · 4H2O, and NiLX2 (X=Cl, Br, or NCS).All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic measurements, e.s.r. electronic and i.r. spectral studies. The results show that the Schiff base acts as bidentate ligand through the pyridine-like imine nitrogen of imidazole ring and the azomethine nitrogen. The stereoselectivity of the α-alkylation of chiral β-hydroxy ester is discussed. The configuration of the alkylated product was proved chemically (Scheme 2). A one pot aldol-alkylation reaction was developed leading stereoselectively to racemic (s*,s*)-α-alkyl-β-hydroxy ester (Scheme 3,4). Baker's yeast reduction of 2-alkyl-3-keto ester led to valuable chiral (2RS,3S)-intermediates, which were converted via the corresponding dianion to compounds with a chiral quaternary C atom (Scheme 6). Synthetic applications of the above findings are shown in the synthesis of various chiral compounds (Scheme 8 and 9).  相似文献
