Carbon supports modified with well dispersed anatase TiO2 (C–Ti-X; X (0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1.0) represents mass ratio of Ti precursor to carbon) were synthesized with various Ti loadings and used to support Pd catalysts for oxygen reduction. The anatase nanoparticles increased in size with increasing Ti loading. Pd dispersion improved with increasing Ti loading up to the C–Ti-0.75, which resulted in the best catalytic activity. Although the Pd dispersion was lowest on the C–Ti-1.0, it showed better catalytic performance than the catalysts supported on C–Ti-0.25 and C–Ti-0.5. At 0.8 V (vs. RHE), the best catalytic activity achieved was respectively 2.7 and 2.7 times the mass and specific activities of Pd supported on un-modified carbon. The interaction between Pd and highly dispersed TiO2 is believed to improve the catalytic activity of Pd supported on TiO2-modified carbons.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new two-stage two-phase VPP charge pump configured in such a manner that the body effect and the threshold voltage loss are eliminated. The newly proposed circuit is fabricated using 0.18 μm triple-well CMOS process and the measurement result shows that the VPP level tracks 3VDD when VDD is above the threshold voltage.  相似文献

Acoustic transmission coefficient and phase velocity of a Lucite slab with circular cylindrical pores with a nonrigid pore frame were experimentally and theoretically investigated. For theoretical investigation a new phenomenological model, the modified Biot-Attenborough (MBA) model, was proposed. The MBA model takes into account both the first kind and the second kind of waves introduced by Biot. It also separately considers viscous and thermal effects with three new phenomenological parameters: boundary, phase velocity, and impedance parameters. The theoretical estimation with three phenomenological parameters shows reasonably good agreement with the experimental data. The physical characteristics of porous medium such as porosity and pore size can be inversely analyzed in terms of the acoustic data such as the transmission coefficient and phase velocity as the functions of porosity and frequency. This makes acoustic diagnosis possible for noninvasively investigating physical characteristics of porous media such as bones and ocean sediments.  相似文献

Amorphous Co2MnSi thin film was deposited using radio-frequency sputtering. The amorphous film crystallized into a single-phased L21 structure at 500 °C, which was highly disordered. The structure was meta-stable as the crystallized film decomposed upon further heating. Increasing the annealing temperature to 600 °C precipitated fcc Co together with Co2MnSi. Magnetic measurements showed that the as-deposited amorphous film was paramagnetic, exhibiting a spin glass state below 44 K. The phase transition at 500 °C produced a ferromagnetic Co2MnSi thin film whose saturation magnetic moment was considerably lower than reported values due to the disordered structure of the crystallized film.  相似文献

The present study aims to investigate the propagation of time-reversed Lamb waves in acrylic cylindrical tubes as cortical-bone-mimicking phantoms. Time-reversed Lamb waves could be successfully launched in 6 acrylic tubes with wall thicknesses from 2 to 12 mm by using a modified time reversal method. The group velocities of the time-reversed Lamb waves in the acrylic tubes were measured by using the axial transmission technique. They decreased very slightly with increasing wall thickness, showing good agreement with the theoretical group velocity of the A0 Lamb wave in the acrylic plate. These results suggest that the time-reversed Lamb waves in the acrylic tubes would essentially behave as the A0 Lamb wave, consistent with the behavior of the slow guided wave in long cortical bones. It is expected that the application of the time-reversed Lamb waves in long bones would enhance clinical potential of ultrasonic technologies for the diagnosis of osteoporosis.  相似文献

Hall effect measurements were performed on epitaxial CoxTi1−xO2–δ thin films grown on (0 0 1) LaAlO3 by reactive RF magnetron co-sputter deposition. Magnetization measurements reveal ferromagnetic behavior in MH loop at room temperature for CoxTi1−xO2–δ thin films for which x?0.02. An anomalous Hall effect was observed for Co0.10Ti0.90O2−δ films grown with the partial pressure of water P(H2O)=4×10−4 Torr or less. These films exhibit a positive ordinary Hall coefficient and a positive magnetoresistance. X-ray diffraction on films grown under these conditions shows evidence for TinO2n−1 phase due to the deficiency of oxygen. In contrast, Hall measurements taken for undoped and Co-doped TiO2 thin films grown under more oxidizing conditions show only the ordinary Hall effect with a negative Hall coefficient consistent with n-type conduction. For these films, the magnetoresistance was positive and increased monotonically with increasing magnetic field. The results suggest that Co-doped TinO2n−1 may be a dilute magnetic semiconducting oxide for which the carriers couple to the spin polarization.  相似文献

The hierarchically structured mesoporous LiMn2O4 (LMO) nanospheres were synthesized using a template-free self-assembly process that was coupled with ultrasound (U). The ultrasound technique suggested here is very powerful for controlling an ordered nanostructure and improving crystallinity with large single-crystalline domains. Owing to the hierarchical mesoporous structure and high crystallinity, U-LMO provides an excellent rate capability and cycle stability with a capacity retention of more than 98% up to 50 cycles at a 0.2 C rate. Here, we demonstrate that mesoporous U-LMO nanospheres were fabricated to enhance the electrochemical performance and protect it from structurally significant collapsing because of high crystallinity.  相似文献

We propose an arbitrary controlled-unitary(CU) gate and a bidirectional transfer scheme of quantum information(BTQI) for unknown photons.The proposed CU gate utilizes quantum non-demolition photon-number-resolving measurement based on the weak cross-Kerr nonlinearities(XKNLs) and two quantum bus beams;the proposed CU gate consists of consecutive operations of a controlled-path gate and a gathering-path gate.It is almost deterministic and is feasible with current technology when a strong amplitude of the coherent state and weak XKNLs are employed.Compared with the existing optical multi-qubit or controlled gates,which utilize XKNLs and homodyne detectors,the proposed CU gate can increase experimental realization feasibility and enhance robustness against decoherence.According to the CU gate,we present a BTQI scheme in which the two unknown states of photons between two parties(Alice and Bob) are mutually swapped by transferring only a single photon.Consequently,by using the proposed CU gate,it is possible to experimentally implement the BTQI scheme with a certain probability of success.  相似文献

Simple scaling laws for the design parameters of plasma wakefield accelerators were obtained using a theoretical model, which were confirmed via particle simulation studies. It was found that the acceleration length was given by Δx=0.804λp/(1−βg), where λp is the plasma wavelength and βgc the propagation velocity of the ion cavity. The acceleration energy can also be given by ΔE=(γm−1)mc2=2.645mc2/(1−βg), where m is the electron rest mass. As expected, the acceleration length and energy increase drastically as βg approached unity. These simple scaling laws can be very instrumental in the design of better-performing plasma wakefield accelerators.  相似文献

We find the realization of large converse magnetoelectric (ME) effects at room temperature in a magnetoelectric hexaferrite Ba0.52Sr2.48Co2Fe24O41 single crystal, in which rapid change of electric polarization in low magnetic fields (about 5 mT) is coined to a large ME susceptibility of 3200 ps/m. The modulation of magnetization then reaches up to 0.62μ(B)/f.u. in an electric field of 1.14 MV/m. We find further that four ME states induced by different ME poling exhibit unique, nonvolatile magnetization versus electric field curves, which can be approximately described by an effective free energy with a distinct set of ME coefficients.  相似文献
