Among the systems used as optical amplifiers, we propose an original way to elaborate photoluminescent materials. The method is based on the reactive RF magnetron co-sputtering of SiO2 and Er2O3 controlled by the hydrogen dilution rate in the plasma gas. The relationship between the photoluminescence properties and the structural characteristics is evidenced through the variation of two parameters in the deposition process: the hydrogen partial pressure within the plasma and the sputtered surface ratio of Er2O3 and SiO2 targets.  相似文献

A research area of great interest to the flavour industry is the analysis of odour active compounds in essential oils. In this paper, a methodology is presented for the identification of character-impact odorants in essential oil samples using (a) gas chromatography-olfactometry (GC-O); (b) comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC x GC) combined to time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOFMS) and (c) heart-cut multidimensional gas chromatography-olfactometry (MDGC-O). The specific advantages and limitations of each technique are discussed. The advantage of combining these techniques in a strategy to identify character-impact odorants is demonstrated using examples from coriander leaf (Coriandrum sativum) and hop (Humulus lupulus) essential oils. In particular, resolution of co-eluting regions of compounds and evaluation of their individual odour activity is discussed. In coriander leaf, only E-2-dodecenal was found to contribute to a co-eluting odour region, E-2-dodecen-1-ol and 1-dodecanol being present below detection threshold. Using MDGC on a hop essential oil sample, eight significant peaks were resolved from an 18 s heart-cut where a potent odorant was perceived during GC-O.  相似文献

This paper is dedicated to the investigation of a new numerical method to approximate the optimal stopping problem for a discrete-time continuous state space Markov chain under partial observations. It is based on a two-step discretization procedure based on optimal quantization. First, we discretize the state space of the unobserved variable by quantizing an underlying reference measure. Then we jointly discretize the resulting approximate filter and the observation process. We obtain a fully computable approximation of the value function with explicit error bounds for its convergence towards the true value function.  相似文献

NEXAFS data [S. Rangan et al., Phys. Rev. B 71 (2005) 165319] and FTIR data [M.P. Schwartz, R.J. Hamers, Surf. Sci. 601 (2007) 945] apparently do not converge in the identification of the reaction products of acetonitrile (CH3CN) with Si(0 0 1)-2 × 1 at room temperature. Using DFT calculations of core-excited/core-ionized spectra and of IR vibrational frequencies and intensities, we show the consistency of the body of experimental data. Three species are present on the surface in equivalent amounts, a CN moiety, a pendent CN and a CCN ketenimine submitted to a strong twist imposed by the Si bond directionality. More generally, the paper shows the usefulness of spectroscopic data simulations in the elucidation of complex surface chemistry problems.  相似文献

This study examined the impact on speech processing of regional phonetic/phonological variation in the listener's native language. The perception of the /e/-/epsilon/ and /o/-/upside down c/ contrasts, produced by standard but not southern French native speakers, was investigated in these two populations. A repetition priming experiment showed that the latter but not the former perceived words such as /epe/ and /epepsilon/ as homophones. In contrast, both groups perceived the two words of /o/-/upside down c/ minimal pairs (/pom/-/p(uspide down c)m/) as being distinct. Thus, standard-French words can be perceived differently depending on the listener's regional accent.  相似文献

This paper describes a comprehensive non-linear multiphysics model based on the Euler–Bernoulli beam equation that remains valid up to large displacements in the case of electrostatically actuated Mathieu resonators. This purely analytical model takes into account the fringing field effects and is used to track the periodic motions of the sensing parts in resonant microgyroscopes. Several parametric analyses are presented in order to investigate the effect of the proof mass frequency on the bifurcation topology. The model shows that the optimal sensitivity is reached for resonant microgyroscopes designed with sensing frequency four times faster than the actuation one.  相似文献

In an antibiotic lead discovery program, the known strain Streptomyces armeniacus DSM19369 has been found to produce three new natural products when cultivated on a malt‐containing medium. The challenging structural elucidation of the isolated compounds was achieved by using three independent methods, that is, chemical degradation followed by NMR spectroscopy, a computer‐assisted structure prediction algorithm, and X‐ray crystallography. The compounds, named armeniaspirol A–C ( 2 – 4 ), exhibit a compact, hitherto unprecedented chlorinated spiro[4.4]non‐8‐ene scaffold. Labeling experiments with [1‐13C] acetate, [1,2‐13C2] acetate, and [U‐13C] proline suggest a biosynthesis through a rare two‐chain mechanism. Armeniaspirols displayed moderate to high in vitro activities against Gram‐positive pathogens such as methicillin‐resistant S. aureus (MRSA) or vancomycin resistant E. faecium (VRE). As analogue 2 was active in vivo in an MRSA sepsis model, and showed no development of resistance in a serial passaging experiment, it represents a new antibiotic lead structure.  相似文献

Abstract

Uranium and thorium have sufficiently low radioactive dose rates to allow their study at synchrotrons and neutron facilities. Correspondingly, numerous compounds of these two actinides have been studied under pressure by synchrotron x-ray diffraction. The maximum pressures reached were on the order of 60-80 GPa, and 300 GPa in one case.

The situation is much more difficult for all other actinides. Their high level of radioactivity has up to now prevented their study at synchrotrons, except in a few special cases. In contrast, all actinide metals available in sufficient quantities, and a large number of compounds of highly radioactive actinides, have been studied in highpressure laboratory facilities.

Indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films prepared by the sol–gel method have been deposited by the dip-coating process on silica substrates. CO2 laser is used for annealing treatments. The electrical resistivity of sol–gel-derived ITO thin films decreased following crystallization after exposure to CO2 laser beam. The topological and electrical properties of the irradiated surfaces have been demonstrated to be strongly related to the coating solution and to the laser processing parameters. Optimal results have been obtained for 5 dip-coating layers film from 0.4 mol/l solution irradiated by 0.6 W/m2 laser power density. In this case, homogeneous and optically transparent traces were obtained with a measured sheet resistance of 1.46×102 Ω/□.  相似文献
