The Er3+ doped transparent oxyfluoride glass ceramics were obtained by appropriate heat treatment of the precursor glasses with composition (mol%) 50SiO2-xPbF2-(50 − x)PbO-0.5ErF3. The microstructure and optical properties of the glasses and glass ceramics were determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), absorption spectra and luminescence spectra. The intensity of upconversion luminescence significantly increased in glass ceramics compared to that in precursor glass. The emission bands centered around 660 nm (4F9/2 → 4I15/2) and 410 nm (2H9/2 → 4I15/2) were simultaneously observed in glass ceramics but cannot be seen in the corresponding precursor glass. The influence of different PbF2 content on the microstructure and upconversion luminescence of the samples was analyzed in detail. The results indicated that with the increase of PbF2 content, the Ω2 was almost the same and the ratios of red to green upconversion luminescence decreased in glass ceramics. 相似文献

The integration of highly active single atoms (SAs) and atom clusters (ACs) into an electrocatalyst is critically important for high-efficiency two-electron oxygen reduction reaction (2e− ORR) to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Here we report a tandem impregnation-pyrolysis-etching strategy to fabricate the oxygen-coordinated Fe SAs and ACs anchored on bacterial cellulose-derived carbon (BCC) (FeSAs/ACs-BCC). As the electrocatalyst, FeSAs/ACs-BCC exhibits superior electrocatalytic activity and selectivity toward 2e− ORR, affording an onset potential of 0.78 V (vs. RHE) and a high H2O2 selectivity of 96.5 % in 0.1 M KOH. In a flow cell reactor, the FeSAs/ACs-BCC also achieves high-efficiency H2O2 production with a yield rate of 12.51±0.18 mol gcat−1 h−1 and a faradaic efficiency of 89.4 %±1.3 % at 150 mA cm−2. Additionally, the feasibility of coupling the produced H2O2 and electro-Fenton process for the valorization of ethylene glycol was explored in detail. The theoretical calculations uncover that the oxygen-coordinated Fe SAs effectively regulate the electronic structure of Fe ACs which are the 2e− ORR active sites, resulting in the optimal binding strength of *OOH intermediate for high-efficiency H2O2 production. 相似文献

Ammonia borane (AB) is of great interest for storing hydrogen, an important issue in the growing field of hydrogen technology. The reaction pathways leading to the thermal decomposition of solid-state AB incorporated in carbon cryogels (CC) have been studied by spectroscopic methods. The time-dependent thermal decomposition was followed by in situ 11B nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and showed a significant increase in hydrogen release kinetics for AB in CC compared to neat AB. Both 11B NMR and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy show a new reaction product, formed in the thermal decomposition of AB in CC scaffold (CC-AB) that is assigned to reactions with surface oxygen groups. The results indicate that incorporation of AB in CC enhances kinetics because of the reactions with residual surface-bound oxygen functional groups. The formation of new products with surface -O-B bonds is consistent with the greater reaction exothermicity observed when hydrogen is released from CC-AB materials. Coherent carbon cryogel-ammonia borane (C-AB) nanocomposites were synthesized, and improved H2 storage properties are reported. Porous carbon cryogels were impregnated with AB in tetrahydrofuran solution at 25 degrees C under argon; 30% of the carbon cryogel pore volume was filled to produce a 24 wt % C-AB nanocomposite. Nitrogen sorption isotherms, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, differential thermal/thermal gravimetric analyses, mass spectrometry, and 11B NMR were used to characterize the coherent C-AB nanocomposites. Findings include a merged two-step hydrogen release reaction with an appreciable reduction in the dehydrogenation temperature to <90 degrees C as well as the suppression of borazine release. The possible nanosize effects on the H2 storage properties are discussed. 相似文献
