In the present contribution, we demonstrated that surface-enhanced resonance Raman scattering spectra from single green fluorescent proteins (GFPs) were obtained. The most important findings are the direct detection of the conversion between a deprotonated and a protonated form of the chromophore at the single-molecule level via the corresponding vibrational fingerprints, and the fact that the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) also shows a high surface enhanced resonance Raman scattering (SERRS) signal. Our findings show the potential of the technique to study structural dynamics of protein molecules at a single-molecule level.  相似文献

Noninductive current drive has been performed in the tokamak ASDEX upgrade by injection of radiofrequency waves at the second harmonic of the electron-cyclotron frequency in order to suppress unwanted disturbances of the magnetic-field configuration. The current has been driven parallel [co-electron cyclotron current drive (ECCD)] and antiparallel (counter-ECCD) to the plasma current to compare the effect of heating with direct current drive in the magnetic island. For the first time it has been shown experimentally that total stabilization of neoclassical tearing modes is possible with co-ECCD. The experiments verify the role of direct current drive as opposed to local heating.  相似文献

In the present paper we show that every distribution T in D′Lp (D′Lp(E) in the vector-valued case) has a representation as boundary value of a holomorphic function T (with values in E). This problem was considered in [1], [5], [12]. The representing functions are characterized by growth conditions. It is shown that the conditions in [1] and [5] don't extend to the vector-valued case while the conditions in [12] do.  相似文献

The numerical performance of some computer methods for heat transfer with change of phase is discussed. For one-dimensional problems the application of invariant imbedding to time-discretized problems is suggested. For some multidimensional problems an absorption of the phase transition process into the diffusion equation through the so-called enthalpy transformation is advocated. If this transformation is not applicable, a locally one-dimensional Gauss-Seidel-type front-tracking method coupled with invariant imbedding is effective.  相似文献

Summary The method of lines is used to solve Poisson's equation on an irregular domain with nonlinear or free boundary conditions. The partial differential equation is approximated by a system of second order ordinary differential equations subject to multi-point boundary conditions. The system is solved with an SOR iteration which employs invariant imbedding for each one dimensional problem. An application of the method to a boundary control problem and to a free surface problem arising in electrochemical machining is described. Finally, some theoretical convergence results are presented for a model problem with radiative boundary conditions on fixed boundaries.This work was supported by the U.S. Army Research Office under Grant DA-AG29-76-G-0261  相似文献
