Dimethyl diphenyldithiophosphate complexes of titanium(IV), [(C5H5)2Ti{S2P(OAr)2}nCl2-n] (Ar?= 2,4-(CH3)C6H3, 2,5-(CH3)C6H3, 3,4-(CH3)C6H3, 3,5-(CH3)C6H3, 3-CH3-4-Cl-C6H3O; n?=?1 and 2) have been synthesised and characterised by various physicochemical techniques along with computational analysis of the complexes (2), (9) and (10) using density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TDDFT). Comparison of antimicrobial activity of the free ligands and complexes has shown that the complexes are more effective than the free ligands. The in vitro cytotoxic by using a MTT staining method with RAW 264.7 cells (mouse macrophages) have been investigated. On the basis of analytical and DFT data, a distorted trigonal bipyramidal around titanium(IV) may be assigned to the complexes (1–5) and distorted octahedral geometries for the complexes (6–10).  相似文献

The effect of varied zirconium content on the structural, morphological, magnetic, optical, thermal and catalytic properties of nanoparticles of the ferrite Cu1 ? xZrxFe2O4 (x = 0, 0.5, 1) was investigated. The mixed ferrite was synthesized by the auto‐combustion method using nitrates of respective metals and citric acid as a chelating agent. The as‐prepared nanoparticles showed dual benefits. They were employed as a heterogeneous catalyst for one‐pot synthesis of polysubstituted pyridine derivatives as well as for catalytic degradation of industrial waste dyes such as methylene blue (MB). The highlight of the research reported is the catalytic degradation of industrial waste (MB) with high efficiency in eluent of a wide range of pH (3–13). The proposed nanoparticles arguably offer certain great advantages that include: low cost, facile nature, anti‐leaching property, magnetic recoverability and recyclability. The characterization of the as‐synthesized nanoparticles was done using various techniques. The leaching study was carried out using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy. The formation of organic products was confirmed using Fourier transform infrared and 1H NMR spectroscopies and examination of degradation products of MB dye was carried out using mass spectrometry and UV–visible spectroscopy.  相似文献

It also provides a comprehensive global perspective of the linear plastics economy and makes the case for its transformation into a circular plastics economy. CO2‐based, crosslinked poly(hydroxyl urethane)s (PHUs) are accessed via a set of efficient reactions based on the addition chemistry of thiol‐ene and amines‐cyclic carbonates. This strategy to utilize 5‐membered cyclic carbonates produced from CO2 is robust, facile, modular, and atomically efficient in nature. The thiol‐ene reaction was utilized to access bis(cyclic carbonate), tris(cyclic carbonate), and tetrakis(cyclic carbonate) in quantitative yield from 4‐vinyl‐1,3‐dioxolan‐2‐one and thiols. Multi‐functional cyclic carbonates were simply mixed with diethylenetriamine and/or 1,6‐diaminohexane to generate crosslinked PHUs from 25 to 80 °C. These materials are easy to scale‐up and are potential candidates in many applications such as coatings, binders, and resins. The resulting polymers have glass transition temperatures between ?1 and 16 °C and thermal decomposition temperatures from 190 to 230 °C. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. xV2O5xCeO2–(30−x)PbO–(70−x) B2O3 glasses are synthesized by using the melt quench technique. The number of studies such as XRD, density, molar volume, optical band gap, refractive index and FTIR spectroscopy are employed to characterize the glasses. The band gap decreases from 2.20 to 1.78 eV and density increases from 3.49 to 4.25 g/cm3. FTIR spectroscopy reveals that incorporation of V2O5 in glass network helps to convert the structural units of [BO3] into [BO4]. At higher concentration of vanadium, VO vibration of [VO5] structural units and V–O–V vibration are present. The bond ionicity of glasses increases with incorporation of V2O5 contents.  相似文献
