Cefpiramide is frequently used to treat biliary infections. However, no bioanalytical method has been validated to quantitate cefpiramide in human samples, particularly in bile. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop a simple, selective and validated high-performance liquid chromatographic method to determine cefpiramide in human plasma and bile. A protein precipitation procedure was used to extract cefpiramide and cefoperazone (internal standard, IS) from 200 μl of plasma and bile. Utilizing a Capcell Pak C18 column (4.6 × 250 mm), cefpiramide and IS were separated using the timed-gradient mobile phase consisting of 0.1 m sodium acetate (pH 5.2) and acetonitrile at a flow rate of 1 ml/min with photodiode array detector (wavelength set at 273 nm). The calibration curves showed linearity at concentrations ranging from 1 to 150 μg/ml in both plasma and bile (r2 > 0.999). The within- and between-run coefficients of variation (CVs) for plasma samples were 0.570–4.43 and 1.10–2.76%, respectively; for bile samples, the within- and between-day precision (CV) was 0.814–6.34 and 2.05–4.00%, respectively. Our newly developed bioanalytical method was successfully employed to quantify cefpiramide concentrations in both plasma and bile at multiple time points in patients with acute cholangitis.  相似文献

Electropolishing of Ti was carried out in alcohol-based electrolyte and subsequently the polished Ti was anodized in ethylene glycol containing 0.25 wt% NH4F. Anodization of polished and non-polished Ti, respectively, showed no big difference in the degree of local arrangement of the nanotubes, whereas the surface roughness on a large area was dramatically improved in the anodized polished Ti. Anodization of polished Ti leads to the formation of nanotubular TiO2 structures with more uniform length and relatively time-independent density of nanotubes compared to that prepared with anodization of non-polished Ti, meaning that electropolishing is indispensable for the formation of uniform nanotubular TiO2 structures.  相似文献

Dispensing uniform pico‐to‐nanoliter droplets has become one of essential components in various application fields from high‐throughput bio‐analysis to printing. In this study, a new method is suggested and demonstrated for dispensing a droplet on the top plate with an inverted geometry by using electric field. The process of dispensing droplets consists of two stages: (i) formation of liquid bridge by moving up the charged fluid mass using the electrostatic force between the charges on the fluid mass and the induced charges on the substrate and (ii) its break‐up by the motion of the top plate. Different from conventional electrohydrodynamic methods, electric induction enables the droplets to be dispensed on various surfaces including non‐conducting substrate. The use of capillarity with an inverted geometry removes the need of external pumps or elaborates control for constant flow feed. The droplet diameter has been characterized as a function of the nozzle‐to‐plate distance and the plate moving velocity. The robustness of the present method is shown in terms of nozzle length and applied voltage. Finally, its practical applicability is confirmed by rendering a 19 by 24 array of highly uniform droplets with only 1.8% size variation without use of any active feedback control.  相似文献

Let ψ(x) denote the digamma function. We study the linear independence of ψ(x) at rational arguments over algebraic number fields. We also formulate a variant of a conjecture of Rohrlich concerning linear independence of the log gamma function at rational arguments and report on some progress. In order to prevent engine failure, the oil must be changed before it loses its protective properties. It is necessary to monitor the actual physical and chemical condition of the oil to reliably determine the optimum oil-change interval. Our study focuses on the condition of the lubricating oil in an operated car engine. Shear stress curves and viscosity curves as a function of the shear rate for fresh and used lubricating oil were examined. Metal nitrate was detected in the lubricating oil from the operated car engine through the use of a chelating self-assembled monolayer.  相似文献
