Raman spectra of cyclopropylmethyl dichlorosilane (c-C3H5)SiCl2CH3 as a liquid were recorded at 293 K and polarization data were obtained. Additional Raman spectra were recorded at various temperatures between 293 and 163 K, and intensity changes of certain bands with temperature were detected. No crystallization was ever obtained in the Raman cryostat in spite of extensive annealing. The infrared spectra have been studied as a vapour, as an amorphous solid at 78 K and as a liquid in the range 600-100 cm−1. No infrared bands present in the vapour or liquid seemed to vanish upon cooling, and the sample never formed crystals on the CsI window of an infrared cryostat.The compound exists a priori in two conformers, syn and gauche, and the experimental results suggest an equilibrium in which the gauche conformer has 1.64 kJ mol−1 lower enthalpy than syn in the liquid, leading to 20% syn at ambient temperature. Most of the syn bands were situated close to the corresponding gauche bands and it was difficult to obtain reliable ΔH values.B3LYP calculations with various basis sets and the CBS-QB3 and G2 and G3 models were employed, yielding the conformational enthalpy difference ΔH (syn-gauche) between 2.6 and 3.4 kJ mol−1. Infrared and Raman intensities, polarization ratios and vibrational frequencies for the syn and gauche conformers were calculated. Instead of scaling the calculated wavenumbers in the harmonic approximation, calculations from B3LYP/cc-pVTZ were derived in the anharmonic approximation. In most cases these values were in good agreement with the experimental results for 38 observed modes of the gauche and 8 modes of the syn conformer with a deviation of ca. 1%. 相似文献

Titanium dioxide was deposited from aqueous suspension onto cellulosic surfaces.Titania was sourced from Degussa (P25TM,70:30 anatase:rutile).Dry uptake of particles was shown to be rapid and dominant with one-third of the deposition occurring in less than 30 s and over one-half in the first minute.Isotherms were recorded to compare the rate of titanium deposition on dry and pre-wetted cotton.In the dry case uptake reached a maximum in 30 min whereas in the pre-wetted case the uptake was seen to continue beyond 180 min.A broad trend of higher deposition occurring at lower pH was seen,corresponding to the region where surface charges were opposite and thus attractive.Dry pickup was less significant at high pH.The response to varying ionic strength was complex and was attributed to the combined effect of charge screening,particle aggregation and consequent particle entrapment or occlusion.Titania deposition into the interstices of woven cotton sheets resulted in the formation of inorganic,nanoparticulate skeletons which could be isolated by controlled combustion of the cellulose and thus cotton was suggested to have potential for the templated synthesis of high surface area semiconductor materials. 相似文献

The Raman and infrared spectra (3500–50 cm−1) of the gas, liquid or solution, and solid were recorded of 2,2,3,3,3‐pentafluoropropylamine (CF3CF2CH2NH2) and the ND2 isotopomer. Variable temperature (−55 to − 100 °C) studies of the infrared spectra (3600–400 cm−1) of samples dissolved in liquid xenon have been carried out. From these data, two of the five possible conformers have been identified and their relative stabilities obtained. The enthalpy difference was determined between the more stable Tt conformer and the less stable Tg form to be 280 ± 14 cm−1 (3.35 ± 0.17 kJ/mol). The first indicator is the NCCC dihedral angle (G = gauche or T = trans), and the second one (g = gauche or t = trans) is the relative position of the lone pair of electrons on nitrogen with respect to the β‐carbon. The percentage of the Tg conformer at ambient temperature is estimated to be 34 ± 2%. The conformational stabilities have been predicted from ab initio calculations utilizing several different basis sets up to aug‐cc‐pVTZ for both MP2(full) and density functional theory calculations by the B3LYP method. Vibrational assignments have been provided for most of the observed bands for both isotopomers, supported by MP2(full)/6‐31G(d) ab initio calculations to predict the harmonic force fields, wavenumbers, infrared intensities, Raman activities, and depolarization ratios for both conformers. Estimated r0 structural parameters were obtained from adjusted MP2(full)/6‐311 + G(d,p) calculations. The infrared (3200 to 400 cm–1) spectra of gaseous and solid and Raman (3200 to 20 cm–1) spectra of liquid and solid ethyl chlorosilane-Si-d2, CH3CH2SiD2Cl, have been recorded. Both the gauche and trans conformers have been identified in the fluid phases, but only the gauche conformer remains in the solid phase. Variable temperature (–105 to –150°C) studies of the infrared spectra of CH3CH2SiH2Cl dissolved in liquid krypton have been carried out. From these data, the enthalpy difference has been determined to be 78±11 cm–1 (0.93±0.13 kJ/mol), with the gauche conformer the more stable form. Utilizing the frequencies of the silicon-hydrogen stretches, from the chlorosilane-Si-d isotopomer, Si—H bond distances of 1.481 and 1.480 Å have been obtained for the gauche conformer and 1.481 Å for the trans conformer. Complete vibrational assignments are proposed for both isotopomers which are consistent with the predicted frequencies utilizing the force constants from ab initio MP2/6-31G(d) calculations. Both the infrared intensities and the Raman activities and depolarization values have been obtained from the ab initio calculations. Complete equilibrium geometries have been determined by ab initio calculations employing the 6-31(d), 6-311++G(d,p), and 6-311+G(2d,2p) basis sets with full electron correlation by the Moller–Plesset (MP) perturbation method to second order. Continuing the previously reported rotational constants from five different isotopomers and the ab initio predicted structural parameters, adjusted r
