Highly crosslinked organic–inorganic hybrid polymer poly(cyclotriphosphazene-co-melamine) microspheres (PZM) were synthesized by a simple method. The microspheres was characterized by FTIR, SEM and EDX. It was applied to eliminate thorium(IV) from aqueous solution under various conditions, i.e., pH, initial concentration, dosage and contact time. The experimental data were well-imitated via the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and its adsorption processes comply with the Langmuir isotherm model. Adsorption thermodynamic studies demonstrated that the adsorption process, in essence, was spontaneous and endothermic. Furthermore, the maximum experimental adsorption capacity was 98.6 mg g?1 for initial thorium(IV) concentration 50 mg L?1. When pH?=?0.0, the thorium(IV) removal efficiency reached at 76.9%, which indicates that the adsorbent can also was used in a peracid environment. Adsorption behavior of thorium(IV) onto the microspheres were weakly affected via temperature, implying that adsorption would be done at room temperature.
The synthesis of 5-(4-sodium sulphonatephenylazo)-8-aminoquinoline (SPAQ) is described, and a simple, rapid, selective and sensitive new spectrophotometric method for determination of gold is developed. SPAQ reacts with gold(III), and in the presence of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide cationic surfactant and upon making the solution alkaline, forms a blue-green 1:3 (metal:ligand) with an absorption maximum at 605 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range 0-2 microg/ml gold. The molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity of the method are 1.48 x 10(5) 1.mole(-1).cm(-1) and 0.0013 microg/cm(2), respectively. The interference of various ions has been studied and the method has been used for the determination of microamounts of gold in ores and anode slimes. 相似文献
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) has received increasing attention because it is not only a mild and environmentally friendly oxidant for organic synthesis and environmental remediation but also a promising new liquid fuel. The production of H2O2 by photocatalysis is a sustainable process, since it uses water and oxygen as the source materials and solar light as the energy. Encouraging processes have been developed in the last decade for the photocatalytic production of H2O2. In this Review we summarize research progress in the development of processes for the photocatalytic production of H2O2. After a brief introduction emphasizing the superiorities of the photocatalytic generation of H2O2, the basic principles of establishing an efficient photocatalytic system for generating H2O2 are discussed, highlighting the advanced photocatalysts used. This Review is concluded by a brief summary and outlook for future advances in this emerging research field. 相似文献
A large nonlinear optical (NLO) coefficient and a wide band gap are two crucial but contradictory parameters that are difficult to achieve simultaneously in a single infrared (IR) NLO compound. A salt‐inclusion chalcogenide (SIC), Li[LiCs2Cl][Ga3S6] ( 1 ), was prepared that presents a nanosized tunnel framework constructed from monotype chalcogenide tetrahedra. Highly oriented covalent GaS4 tetrahedra in the host lead to a moderate second harmonic generation response (0.7 AgGaS2), and ionic guests effectively broaden the band gap to the widest value (4.18 eV) among all IR NLO chalcogenides, thereby achieving a remarkable balance between NLO efficiency and band gap. 相似文献
Fluorescent materials exhibiting two‐photon induction (TPI) are used for nonlinear optics, bioimaging, and phototherapy. Polymerizations of molecular chromophores to form π‐conjugated structures were hindered by the lack of long‐range ordering in the structure and strong π–π stacking between the chromophores. Reported here is the rational design of a benzothiadiazole‐based covalent organic framework (COF) for promoting TPI and obtaining efficient two‐photon induced fluorescence emissions. Characterization and spectroscopic data revealed that the enhancement in TPI performance is attributed to the donor‐π‐acceptor‐π‐donor configuration and regular intervals of the chromophores, the large π‐conjugation domain, and the long‐range order of COF crystals. The crystalline structure of TPI‐COF attenuates the π–π stacking interactions between the layers, and overcomes aggregation‐caused emission quenching of the chromophores for improving near‐infrared two‐photon induced fluorescence imaging. 相似文献
Propene/propane separation is challenging due to the very small difference in molecular sizes, boiling points and condensabilities between these molecules. Herein, we report a strategy of introducing ZIF fragments into traditional mordenite (MOR) zeolite to decorate the 12‐membered ring of MOR. After decoration, the originally ineffective zeolite MOR exhibited high kinetic propene/propane selectivities (139 at 25 °C) and achieved efficient propene/propane separation. The propene/propane separation potentials of the resulting adsorbents were further confirmed by breakthrough experiments with equimolar propene/propane (50/50) mixtures. 相似文献
