In the paper, the results of investigation concerning the influence of 0.3% addition of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (MC) of 40 and 70 Pa s viscosity on the hydration process of main clinker phases C3S and C3A are presented. The course of hydration is documented using microcalorimetry, and formed phases were identified by XRD. The research indicated that methylcellulose inhibited the hydration process of clinker phases, analysed both, separately and in their mixture. Moreover, it was found that the presence of MC admixture also led to the reduction in calcium sulphate dihydrate reactivity in the system. 相似文献

Allergen sensitization is being diagnosed by commonly available methods in clinical practice—skin prick tests (SPTs) and specific immunoglobulin E test (sIgE). Recently, a new thermographic (TH) method for the assessment of SPT was developed, and it was demonstrated that the TH measurements of forearm temperature distribution during SPT, supported by a mathematical model, offer a new quantification method of allergen-induced skin reactions. The aim of this study is a comprehensive comparison of the TH method with SPT and sIgE techniques. The studies were performed for a group of 51 patients. The SPT and sIgE examinations were done in a routine way. For TH analyses, set of thermograms of both forearms were acquired after prick and analyzed with the use of developed software. All results were converted into categorized scale for comparison. The collected results indicate high correlation coefficients between methods equal to 0.76–0.99. Sensitivity and accuracy of TH assessment in respect of both SPT and sIgE methods is at good level (0.72–0.93). Acceptable level of specificity 0.60–0.88 was also achieved for most allergic responses. Excellent agreement between SPT and sIgE methods was observed which makes the TH assessment competitive. Due to higher precision and sensitivity of digital infrared technology, possibility of making error in diagnosis is significantly reduced. Additional advantage of the TH method relies on an estimation of the skin reactivity which allows highlighting the hypersensitivity patients and automatic correction of the diagnosis. 相似文献

Food and contaminated indoor environments are the most relevant sources of human exposure to polyhalogenated chemicals. This study analyzed for the first time fat residues in kitchen hoods for contaminations with polyhalogenated compounds. A wide range of contaminants was detected in all kitchen hoods (n?=?15) and most of them could be quantified. Between 0.2 and 18 μg polyhalogenated chemicals/g fat were detected, with chlorinated paraffins being the most relevant contaminant group. Aside from the chlorinated paraffins, each kitchen hood fat sample showed a distinct fingerprint. A wide range of old and current-use brominated flame retardants were also detected in the samples. In addition to these contaminants originating from their use in indoor equipment, residues of organochlorine pesticides and semi-volatile halogenated natural products verified that cooking of food, accompanied with the release of contaminants from the heated food, was another relevant source of contamination. Re-analyses of two samples after 3 months only resulted in small variations in contaminant pattern and concentrations. Therefore, fat from kitchen hoods is proposed as an easily accessible matrix to assess contamination of these hazardous polyhalogenated chemicals. Figure

The uncertainties of stable isotope results depend not only on the technical aspects of measurements, but also on how raw data are normalized to one of the international isotope scales. The inconsistency in the normalization methods used and in the selection of standards may lead to substantial differences in the results obtained. Therefore, unification of the data processing protocols employed is highly desirable. The best performing methods are two-point or multipoint normalization methods based on linear regression. Linear regression is most robust when based on standards that cover the entire range of δ values typically observed in nature, regardless of the δ values of the samples analysed. The uncertainty can be reduced by 50 % if measurements of two different standards are performed four times, or measurements of four standards are performed twice, with each batch of samples. Chemical matrix matching between standards and samples seems to be critical for δ 18O of nitrate or δ 2H of hair samples (thermal conversion/elemental analyser), for example; however, it is not necessarily always critical for all types of samples and techniques (e.g. not for most δ 15N and δ 13C elemental analyser analyses). To ensure that all published data can be recalculated, if δ values of standards or the isotope scales are to be updated, the details of the normalization technique and the δ values of the standards used should always be clearly reported. 相似文献

The potential effect of spectral interference on the accurate measurement of the cadmium (Cd) mass fraction in fortified breakfast cereal and a variety of dietary supplement materials using inductively coupled plasma quadrupole mass spectrometry was studied. The materials were two new standard reference materials (SRMs)—SRM 3233 Fortified Breakfast Cereal and SRM 3532 Calcium Dietary Supplement—as well as several existing materials—SRM 3258 Bitter Orange Fruit, SRM 3259 Bitter Orange Extract, SRM 3260 Bitter Orange-containing Solid Oral Dosage Form, and SRM 3280 Multivitamin/Multielement Tablets. Samples were prepared for analysis using the method of isotope dilution and measured using various operating and sample introduction configurations including standard mode, collision cell with kinetic energy discrimination mode, and standard mode with sample introduction via a desolvating nebulizer system. Three isotope pairs, 112Cd/111Cd, 113Cd/111Cd, and 114Cd/111Cd, were measured. Cadmium mass fraction results for the unseparated samples of each material, measured using the three instrument configurations and isotope pairs, were compared to the results obtained after the matrix was removed via chemical separation using anion exchange chromatography. In four of the six materials studied, measurements using the standard mode with sample introduction via the desolvating nebulizer gave results for the unseparated samples quantified with the 112Cd/111Cd isotope pair that showed a positive bias relative to the matrix-separated samples, which indicated a persistent inference at m/z?112 with this configuration. Use of the standard mode, without the desolvating nebulizer, also gave results that showed a positive bias for the unseparated samples quantified with the 112Cd/111Cd isotope pair in three of the materials studied. Collision cell/kinetic energy discrimination mode, however, was very effective for reducing spectral interference for Cd in all of the materials and isotope pairs studied, except in the multivitamin/multielement matrix (SRM 3280) where the large corrections for known isobaric interferences or unidentified interferences compromised the accuracy. Nanoparticles of nitrogen-modified TiO2 (N-doped TiO2) calcined at 300°C and 350°C, have been prepared with and without water rinsing. Samples were characterized by x-ray diffractrometry (XRD) and optical spectroscopy. The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra from centers involving oxygen vacancies were recorded for all samples. These could be attributed to paramagnetic surface centers of the hole type, for example to paramagnetic oxygen radicals O?, O2 ? etc. The concentration of these centers increased after water rising and it further increased for samples annealed at higher temperature. Additionally, for samples calcined at 300°C, and calcined at 350°C and rinsed, the EPR spectra evidenced the presence of magnetic clusters of Ti3+ ions. The photocatalytic activity of samples was studied towards phenol decomposition under unltraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) irradiation. It was found that, in comparison to the starting materials, the rinsed materials showed increased photocatalytic activity towards phenol oxidation. The light absorption (UV-Vis/DRS) as well as surface Fourier transform infrared/diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (FTIR/DR) studies confirmed a significantly enhanced light absorption and the presence of nitrogen groups on the photocatalysts surfaces, respectively. A significant increase of concentration of paramagnetic centers connected with oxygen vacancies after water rising has had an essential influence on increasing their photocatalytic activity. 相似文献

Two pseudohalide hydride carbonyl ruthenium(II) complexes with formulae: [RuH(N3)(CO)(PPh3)3] (1) and [RuH(NCO)(CO)(PPh3)3] (2) have been synthesized by the reactions of [RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)3] with sodium azide or sodium cyanate, respectively, and are compared with the previously described thiocyanate analog [RuH(NCS)(CO)(PPh3)3]. The molecular structures of the new compounds were determined by X-ray crystallography and their spectroscopic properties have been studied. Based on the crystal structures, computational investigations have been carried out in order to determine the electronic structures of the complexes. The electronic spectra were calculated with the use of time-dependent DFT methods, and the electronic spectra of the transitions were correlated with the molecular orbitals of the complexes. 相似文献
