A new mixed nickel–sodium complex has been synthesized from Ni(ClO4)2 and tris(8-methyl 2-oxo-quinolidine amino ethylamine) with a 1:1 molar ratio in methanol and has been characterized by various analytical, spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction studies which confirmed an octahedral geometry around the nickel ion. Further, structural optimization of the complex was performed using DFT calculations. The ligand and complex were evaluated for their binding affinity with CT-DNA and an intercalative type of binding interaction was proposed from the absorption and fluorescence titration experiments. Albumin binding interaction of the ligand and complex was determined by absorption, fluorescence and synchronous spectral techniques at room temperature, suggesting the static quenching mechanism of BSA with the compounds. Antioxidant studies revealed the radical scavenging potential of Ni(II) complex. The anticancer activity of the ligand and complex was probed via in vitro cytotoxicity against human breast (MCF7) and lung (A549) cancer cell lines by MTT assay. Further, cytological changes observed in acridine orange/ethidium bromide and DAPI staining methods validated the cytotoxic potential of the complex.  相似文献

Methylation of the enantiopure functionalized vinyl sulfoximines 5a-e and 14a-d followed by a F- ion or DBU-mediated isomerization of the vinyl aminosulfoxonium salts 7a-e and 15a-d, respectively, gave the allyl aminosulfoxonium salts 10a-e and 17a-d, respectively. A concomitant intramolecular substitution of the aminosulfoxonium group of 10a-e and 17a-d by the amino group afforded the unsaturated prolines 8a-e and 18a-d, respectively. The starting vinyl sulfoximines are accessible through a highly selective and stereo-complementary aminoalkylation of the corresponding sulfonimidoyl-substituted mono- and bis(allyl)titanium complexes with the imino ester 4. The vinyl aminosulfoxonium salts 34, 7a-d, and E-15c experienced upon treatment with the Cl- ion a migratory substitution with formation of the delta-chloro-beta,gamma-dehydro amino acids 36, E/Z-37a-d, and 38, respectively. A migratory substitution of the hydroxy-substituted vinyl aminosulfoxonium salts 46a and 46b furnished the delta-chloro allyl alcohols E/Z-48a and E-48b, respectively. A facile one-pot conversion of the vinyl sulfoximines 31b, 5c and 45a to the allyl chlorides 36, E/Z-37c and E/Z-48a, respectively, was achieved upon treatment with a chloroformiate. A tandem cyclization of the vinyl aminosulfoxonium salts 7b, Al-7b and 57 with LiN(H)tBu yielded the cyclopentanoid keto aminosulfoxonium ylides 54, Al-54, 59, 60 and 61, respectively. The structure of the tricyclic keto aminosulfoxonium ylide Al-54 has been determined by X-ray crystal structure analysis. Ab initio calculations and a NBO analysis of the tricyclic keto aminosulfoxonium ylide XXIII show a polar structure stabilized by electrostatic interactions between the ylidic C atom and both the carbonyl C atom and the S atom.  相似文献

In the presence of enantiopure MTBH(2)(monothiobinaphthol, 2-hydroxy-2[prime or minute]mercapto-1,1[prime or minute]-binaphthyl; 0.2 eq.) quantitative allylation of ArC([double bond]O)Me takes place with impure Sn(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(4)(prepared from allyl chloride, air-oxidised magnesium and SnCl(4)) to yield tert-homoallylic alcohols in 85-92% ee. In the same process highly purified, or commercial, Sn(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(4) yields material of only 35-50% ee. The origin of these effects is the presence of small amounts of the compounds, EtSn(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(3), ClSn(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(3) ClSnEt(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(2) in the tetraallyltin sample and the presence of traces of water (which inhibits achiral background reactions). All the triallyl and diallyl species enhance the stereoselectivity in the catalytic allylation reaction, the chlorides more so than the ethyl compound. Hydrolysis of ClSnEt(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(2) affords crystallographically characterised Sn(4)(mu(3)-O)(mu(2)-Cl)(2)Cl(2)Et(4)(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(4). Reaction of this latter compound with MTBH(2) leads to the most potent catalyst.  相似文献

Layered double hydroxide (LDH)–supported nano noble metal heterogeneous catalysts are synthesized by ion exchange of K2PtCl6, Na2PdCl4 and impregnation of RhCl3 .3H2O followed by reduction with H2. The LDH–Rh, Pt, and Pd catalysts are tested in the enantioselective hydrogenation of ethyl pyruvate to ethyl lactate with very good yields and enantiomeric excess's (e.e.'s) of up to 72% were obtained with Pt. The catalyst was recovered and reused for several cycles with consistent activity.  相似文献

An investigations of the optical absorption and fluorescence spectra of 0.2 mol% Er2O3 in mixed alkali borate glasses of the type 67.8B2O3 x xLi2O(32-x)Na2O, 67.8B2O3 x xLi2O(32-x)K2O and 67.8B2O3 x xNa2O(32-x)K2O (where x = 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24) are presented. The glasses were obtained by quenching melts consisting of H3BO3, Li2CO3, Na2CO3, K2CO3 and Er2O3 (950-1100 degrees C, 1.5-2 h) between two brass plates. Spectroscopic parameters like Racah (E1, E2 and E3), spin-orbit (xi(4f)) and configuration interaction (alpha) parameters are deduced as function of x. Using Judd-Ofelt theory, Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters (omega2, omega4 and omega6) are obtained. Radiative and non-radiative transition rates (A(T) and W(MPR)), radiative lifetimes (tauR), branching ratios (beta) and integrated absorption cross-sections (sigma) have been computed for certain excited states of Er3+ in these mixed alkali borate glasses. Emission spectra have been studied for all the three Er3+ doped mixed alkali borate glasses. The present paper throws light on the trends observed in the intensity parameters, radiative lifetimes, branching ratios and emission cross-sections as a function of x in these borate glasses, keeping in view the effect of mixed alkalies in borate glasses.  相似文献

Low dose to very high dose aspirin is used to prevent heart attack. We have developed and validated a sensitive and robust method that could detect low levels of aspirin and salicylic acid in plasma and also a novel sample collection procedure to carry out sample preparation at room temperature. The total run time was 3.00 min; the developed method was validated in human plasma with a lower limit of quantitation of 0.99 ng/mL for aspirin and 2.01 ng/mL for salicylic acid. A linear response function was established for the range of concentrations 0.99–756.20 ng/mL (r > 0.998) for aspirin and 2.01–2486.86 ng/mL for salicylic acid. The intra‐ and inter‐day precision values for aspirin and salicylic acid met the acceptance as per FDA guidelines. The developed assay method was applied to an oral pharmacokinetic study in humans. Aluminum chloride is used extensively as Lewis acid catalyst in a variety of industrial processes, including Friedel-Crafts and Cl/F exchange reactions. There is a common misconception that pure AlCl3 is itself a Lewis acid. In the current study, we use experimental and computational methods to investigate the surface structure and catalytic properties of solid AlCl3. The catalytic activity of AlCl3 for two halide isomerization reactions is studied and compared with different AlF3 phases. It is shown that pure solid AlCl3 does not catalyze these reactions. The (001) surface of crystalline AlCl(3) is the natural cleavage plane and its structure is predicted via first principles calculations. The chlorine ions in the outermost layer of the material mask the Al3+ ions from the external gas phase. Hence, the experimentally found catalytic properties of pure solid AlCl3 are supported by the predicted surface structure of AlCl3.  相似文献

Telmisartan (anti-hypertensive) is insoluble in water; hence the drug may be slowly or incompletely dissolved in the gastro intestinal tract. So the rate of dissolution and therefore its bioavailability is less (bioavailability 42%). In the present study an attempt has been made to prepare immediate release tablets of telmisartan by using Polyplasdone XL-10 (Crosspovidone) at intragranular, extragranular and partly intra and extragranular level of addition to increase the rate of drug release from dosage form to increase the dissolution rate and hence its bioavailability. The prepared granules and tablets were evaluated for their physiochemical properties and in-vitro dissolution study was conducted for the prepared tablets. It was concluded that the immediate release tablets with proper hardness, disintegration time and with increase rate of dissolution can be made using Polyplasdone XL-10. Formuation-10 (F10) was selected for stability study and the in-vitro dissolution study showed that was no difference in percent of drug released between initial and sixth month sample.  相似文献
