Calibration of RPC-based muon detector at BESⅢ

The calibration algorithm for RPC-based muon detector at BESⅢ has been developed. The calibration method, calibration error and algorithm performance are studied. The primary results of efficiency and noise at layer, module and strip levels have been calibrated with cosmic ray data. The calibration constants are available for simulation and reconstruction tuning. The results of Monte Carlo and data are also compared to check the validation and reliability of the algorithm.

Software alignment of the BESⅢ main drift chamber using the Kalman Filter method

Software alignment is quite important for a tracking detector to reach its ultimate position accuracy and momentum resolution. We developed a new alignment algorithm for the BESⅢ Main Drift Chamber using the Kalman Filter method. Two different types of data which are helix tracks and straight tracks are used to test this algorithm, and the results show that the design and implementation is successful.

溶剂条件下苯并咪唑及其衍生物缓蚀性能的DFT研究

通过量子化学密度泛函理论中的B3LYP方法，在6-31G＊基组水平上，并考虑到溶剂的影响，应用PCM模型，对苯并咪唑及其衍生物缓蚀性能与分子结构关系进行了研究，用Fukui指数分析了分子中反应活性位点，结果表明5种分子均为存在共轭体系的平面分子，2-SH-BI易于垂直吸附在金属表面，缓蚀效率与分子最高占有轨道能量EHOMO、能隙△E、分子化学硬度η偶极距μ有良好的线性关系．     

A Hybrid Ant Colony Optimization for the Prediction of Protein Secondary Structure

Based on the concept of ant colony optimization and the idea of population in genetic algorithm, a novel global optimization algorithm, called the hybrid ant colony optimization （HACO）, is proposed in this paper to tackle continuous-space optimization problems. It was compared with other well-known stochastic methods in the optimization of the benchmark functions and was also used to solve the problem of selecting appropriate dilation efficiently by optimizing the wavelet power spectrum of the hydrophobic sequence of protein, which is the key step on using continuous wavelet transform （CWT） to predict a-helices and connecting peptides.     

三元硅酸盐玻璃相中Al3+离子结构状态的MAS NMR谱研究

采用魔角旋转核磁共振谱(MAS NMR)技术对CaO-Al₂O₃-SiO₂ 三元铝硅酸盐玻璃(简称CAS) 中Al³⁺ 离子的占位进行了系统的定量研究，获得下列结论： 
1. Al³⁺在硅酸盐熔体中，大部分进入四面体替代[SiO₄]^4- 中的Si，成为网络形成子. 另有小部分Al³⁺ 在网络骨架之间，以六配位、五配位和其他配位形式成为网络的修饰子.
2. 设η=N(Al³⁺_IV/N(ΣAl)，即考察区域内，四配位Al³⁺离子数与全部Al³⁺离子数之比. 设γ=N(ΣAl)/N(ΣSi)，即考察区域内全部Al³⁺ 离子数与全部Si⁴⁺离子数之比. 则单位四面体的非桥氧数（O_nb/T）与η成反比. 对于不同的γ值，O_nb/T下降的速率不同. γ值越大，下降的速率也越大.     

AZOBENZENE POLYMER FILMS FOR OPTICAL STORAGE AND HIGH-ORDER DIFFRACTION (I)——POLY[4''-BIS(N, N-OXYETHYLENE) IMINO-4-NITROAZOBENZENE SUCCINYL] FILM

The properties of phase conjugated (PC) beam and stable optical storage in an azobenzene polymer film were studied by degenerate four-wave mixing. With low-intensity incident waves (peak value of the pulses of the order of W/cm²), the PC beam as well ms diffraction beams were observed and then disappeared after turning off one of the three incident Beams. When the peak intensities of the incidenl beams reached the order of 10 W/cm², the PC beam did not disappear but decreased to some extent after turning off the writing beams. As the peak intensities of incident beams increased to the order of l0³ W/cm², diffraction up to 4th-order was observed. When all of the three incident waves were turned on, three groups of high-order forward and backward diffraction heams were observed. Turning off two of the three incident beams, the diffraction beams of the other incident beams did not decrease obviously, i.e., stable optical storage was realized. After the experiments, brilliant hologram spot was observed and could be maintained over 120 days without obvious change.     

最小化基于合成模糊变换的模糊自动机

经过重新定义模糊自动机,使得模糊自动机的识别过程与一个合成模糊变换(CF变换)一致,而且得到了尊重合成模糊变换的最粗分类即为状态集的最粗等价分类这一重要结论.在对尊重合成模糊变换的最粗分类的讨论中,给出了找到尊重合成模糊变换的最粗分类的有限步算法,亦即状态集的最粗等价分类和最小化模糊自动机的算法.该算法不仅给出了最长运算时间,而且还给出可终止算法的条件,使得运算更为可行和简便.
