We study, both experimentally and theoretically, the generation of a dc spinmotive force. By exciting a ferromagnetic resonance of a comb-shaped ferromagnetic thin film, a continuous spinmotive force is generated. Experimental results are well reproduced by theoretical calculations, offering a quantitative and microscopic understanding of this spinmotive force.  相似文献

Summary Five alumina-containing gels were investigated on the adsorption characteristics for four types of organic dyes (acidic, basic, reactive, and direct dyes). Alumina-magnesias exhibited the properties as strong solid bases and adsorbed effectively three dyes except for the acidic dye. While, alumina-silicas, strong solid acids, showed the high ability only for the acidic dye.

Isoliquiritigenin, glabridin, licoarylcoumarin and licoricidin were identified as strong inhibitors of adenosine 3',5'-cyclic monophosphate (cAMP) phosphodiesterase in waste materials which were obtained during the industrial extraction of glycyrrhizin from licorice roots. The structure-activity relationships of 12 flavonoids from licorice roots and 34 4-arylcoumarins were studied. In 4-arylcoumarins, 5,7-dihydroxy derivatives were generally highly inhibitory towards cAMP phosphodiesterase.  相似文献

Simvastatin was more effectively metabolized by the liver microsomes of male rats than females. The sex difference appeared in the composition of the metabolites. Two male-specific metabolites were identified by NMR and mass spectrometry as 3'-hydroxy and 3',3'-dihydroxy-delta 4',5' derivatives of simvastatin.  相似文献

The linear-type heterometallic tetramers, [Mn(III)(2)(5-MeOsaltmen)(2)M(II)(2)(L)(2)](CF(3)SO(3))(2) x 2H(2)O (MII = Cu, 1a; Ni, 2a), where 5-MeOsaltmen(2-) = N,N'-(1,1,2,2-tetramethylethylene) bis(5-methoxysalicylideneiminate), and H(2)L = 3-{2-[(2-hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]-2-methyl-propylimino}-butan-2-one oxime, have been synthesized and characterized from structural and magnetic points of view. These two compounds are isostructural and crystallize in the same monoclinic P2(1)/n space group. The structure has a [M(II)-NO-Mn(III)-(O)(2)-Mn(III)-ON-M(II)] skeleton, where -NO- is a linking oximato group derived from the non-symmetrical Schiff-base complex [M(II)(L)] and -(O)(2)- is a biphenolato bridge in the out-of-plane [Mn(2)(5-MeOsaltmen)(2)](2+) dimer. The solvent-free compounds, 1b and 2b, have also been prepared by drying of the parent compounds, 1a and 2a, respectively, at 100 degrees C under dried nitrogen. After this treatment, the crystallinity is preserved, and 1b and 2b crystallize in a monoclinic P2(1)/c space group without significant changes in their structures in comparison to 1a and 2a. Magnetic measurements on 1a and 1b revealed antiferromagnetic Mn(III)---Cu(II) interactions via the oximato group and weak ferromagnetic Mn(III)---Mn(III) interactions via the biphenolato bridge leading to an S(T) = 3 ground state. On the other hand, the diamagnetic nature of the square planar Ni(II) center generates an S(T) = 4 ground state for 2a and 2b. At low temperature, these solvated (a) and desolvated (b) compounds display single-molecule magnet behavior modulated by their spin ground state.  相似文献

Chlorophenols including monochlorophenol, dichlorophenol, trichlorophenol, tetrachlorophenol, and pentachlorophenol in water were extracted into dialkylated cationic surfactant-silica gel admicelles. The dialkylated cationic surfactants such as didecyldimethylammonium bromide (DC10) and didodedyldimethylammonium bromide (DC12) sorbed on silica gel surfaces to form admicelles at pH 9. Approximately 200mg of DC10 was quantitatively sorbed on 1g of silica gel. The sorption further increased by further addition of DC10. This is in contrast to the fact that the maximum sorption of mono-alkylated cetyltrimethyammonium chloride (CTAC) was only ca. 100mg. Based on the fluorescent spectra of a molecular probe, N-phenyl-1-naphthylamine, DC10- and DC12-silica gel admicelles were more hydrophobic than CTAC-silica gel admicelles. The extents of the extraction of chlorophenols into DC10-silica gel admicelles were greater than those into CTAC-silica gel admicelles. However, the extractions to DC12-silica gel admicelles were insufficient due to leakage of DC12 vesicles. Consequently, DC10-silica gel admicelles were the most adequate for concentrating chlorophenols in water. An admicelle column was prepared by passing aqueous buffer solution of DC10 through a Bond Elut Jr. silica gel solid-phase extraction cartridge. It was successfully applied to the 500-fold concentration of chlorophenols including hydrophilic mono-substituted chlorophenol in water samples prior to their HPLC analysis.  相似文献

Abstract

Depth profiles of nitrogen implanted into Zr with an energy of 50 keV were calculated by dynamic SASAMAL code with three different assumptions for the diffusion of excess atoms over stoichiometry, i.e., ‘no diffusion', ‘both-sides-diffusion’ and ‘upward-diffusion'. To distinguish nitrogens implanted certain stage of implantations, alternate implantations of 15N and 14N were used. The results were compared with the experimental results by the resonance nuclear reaction analysis, NRA. For 15N implantation with fluences from 1 × 1017 to 1 × 1018 ions/cm2, the calculated results with ‘upward-diffusion’ agreed very well with the NRA results for all fluences. For the depth profile of pre-implanted 15N (1 × 1017 ions/cm2), which was changed by the subsequent 14N implantation with fluences of 1 ~ 10 × 1017 ions/cm2, the agreement with the NRA results was satisfactory until the 14N fluence did not exceed 5 × 1017 ions/cm2, but for higher fluences, the retained probabilities of 15N obtained by the ‘upward-diffusion’ code were too low compared with the experimental value obtained by NRA. For the depth profiles of 15N (1 × 1017 ions/cm2) implanted following after implantations of 14N with fluences of 1 ~ 10 × 1017 ions/cm2, the agreement with the NRA results was quite good for all 14N fluences. It is concluded that the approximation of ‘upward-diffution’ is proper satisfactorily for the treatment of atoms implanted at the final stage of implantations, but a problem is left for the treatment of atoms implanted at the early stage of implantations.  相似文献

Polyhydroxylated fullerenes (fullerenols: C(60)(OH)(n)) are known as the major water-soluble fullerene derivatives which possess particular significance as free radical scavengers or antioxidants in biological systems. Recently, the novel polyhydroxylated fullerene (C(60) (OH)(44)·8H(2)O: SHH-F) was successfully synthesized. In the present study, we investigated the radical-scavenging effects and cytoprotective effects of three types of fullerenols (C(60)(OH)(6-12): LH-F, C(60) (OH)(32-34)·7H(2)O: HH-F, and C(60) (OH)(44)·8H(2)O: SHH-F) on UV-irradiation-induced cell injuries. HH-F and SHH-F exerted hydroxyl-radical scavenging activities as shown by DMPO-spin trap/ESR method, more markedly than LH-F. UVA or UVB irradiation-induced injuries in human skin keratinocytes HaCaT were significantly suppressed by HH-F and SHH-F, but scarcely by LF-H. The cytoprotective effects of SHH-F had a tendency to be superior to that of HH-F. And the cytoprotective effects of SHH-F against UVB-induced injuries were more effective than those of UVA. Irradiation with UVB to HaCaT cells was shown to cause rapid increases in cell-injury-associated symptoms such as intracellular oxidative stress levels, the formation of cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers and chromatin condensation, all of which were repressed by SHH-F. Thus, UVB-induced diverse harmful effects could be prevented by SHH-F, which was suggested to exert the cytoprotective effects through intracellular reactive oxygen species-scavenging in the keratinocytes.  相似文献
