Some 6‐disubstituted, 8‐disubstituted, and/6,8‐disubstituted compounds have been prepared from coumarin, 7‐methylcoumarin, and 3,4‐benzocoumarin. The Reimer–Tiemann reaction, Lederer–Manasse reaction, bromination using molecular bromine as well as 2,4,4,6‐tetrabromocyclohex‐2,5‐dien‐1‐one, Elbs reaction, and diazocoupling have been carried under controlled conditions to obtain various derivatives. Further, several reactions of aldehyde derivatives of these coumarins have been carried on to prepare important functional compounds including some heterocycles. It is noteworthy that these aldehydes behave as phenolic aldehydes under alkaline conditions to undergo the Dakin reaction. The reactions are mostly carried in aqueous media involving a dianionic intermediate and hence fulfill one important criterion of green chemistry.  相似文献

The borondipyrromethene (BODIPY) labeled new glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) molecules were synthesized as cellular probes to study the chemical basis of microdomain organization of GPI-anchored proteins and cholesterol in plasma membrane. The synthesis enabled by a new stereo-selective glycosylation of myo-d-inositol acceptor led to the preparation of optically pure glucosaminyl-(1-6)-α-phosphatidyl-myo-d-inositol and its unnatural stereoisomer.  相似文献

Pyrolysis of an in-situ generated intermediate, produced in the reaction of [CpMoCl4], 1, (Cp = η5-C5Me5) with [LiBH4·THF], with an excess of difuryl ditelluride in toluene at 90 °C yielded syn and anti isomers of [CpMo(O)(μ-Te)]2 (2, 3) and [Cp2Mo2O2(μ-O)(μ-Te)] (4, 5). In a similar fashion, dibenzyl diselenide yielded syn and anti isomers of [CpMo(O)(μ-Se)]2 (6, 7), along with the known nido-[(CpMo)2B4H8Se2]. Note that in parallel with 2-7, [(CpMo)2B5H9] was isolated as the major product in both cases. Compounds 2-7 have been isolated in modest yield as orange to brown crystalline solids. All the new compounds have been characterized in solution by mass, IR, 1H, 13C, 77Se and 125Te NMR spectroscopy, and the structural types were unequivocally established by crystallographic analysis of 2-4 and 7.  相似文献

The reaction of the phosphorus trihydrazide, (S)P[N(Me)-NH(2)](3) (1) with quinoline-2-carboxaldehyde (C(9)H(6)N-2-CHO) in a 1:3 ratio afforded a trishydrazone, (S)P[N(Me)-N=CH-2-C(9)H(6)N](3) (2). Crystals of 2 were grown in three different solvent media affording an unsolvated (2, monoclinic, P2(1)/n) and two solvated (2·3H(2)O, trigonal, R3 and 2·2CH(3)OH, triclinic, P ?1) crystal forms. Each of these, while possessing an essentially similar molecular structure, adopt different crystal packing giving rise to supramolecular structures mediated by a variety of weak interactions: O-H-N, O-H-O, C-H-N, C-H-O, C-H-S, C-H-π, π-π, N-π and S-π. The reaction of 2 with Ag(ClO(4))(2)·6H(2)O in methanol afforded a dinuclear cationic cage [Ag{(S)P[N(Me)-N=CH-2-C(9)H(6)N](3)}·ClO(4)](2) (3). The molecular structure of 3 reveals a dimeric structure consisting of two Ag(I) ions that are held together by two ligands. Only two arms of the tris hydrazone ligand are involved in coordination while an unprecedented P=S→Ag(I) coordination is seen. This results in the formation of an Ag(2)S(2) dimer that is encapsulated by two trishydrazone ligands. Both compounds 2 and 3 are photoluminescent.  相似文献

Glasses of the composition 2TeO2–V2O5 were fabricated via the conventional melt-quenching technique. The amorphous and the glassy nature of the as-quenched samples were confirmed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), respectively. The glass transition and crystallization parameters were evaluated under non-isothermal conditions using DSC. X-ray diffraction studies confirmed the presence of partially oriented crystallites in the heat-treated glasses. Kauzmann temperature (lower bound for the kinetically observed glass transition) was deduced from the heating rate dependent glass transition and crystallization temperatures.  相似文献

The chemical composition of the essential oil from the rhizome of ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), collected from Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, India, was determined by gas chromatography and GC-MS. Fifty-one compounds, representing 95.1% of the oil, were identified. The oil was characterized by relatively large amounts of the monoterpenoids 1,8-cineole (10.9%), linalool (4.8%), borneol (5.6%), alpha-terpineol (3.6%), neral (8.1%), geraniol (14.5%), geranial (9.5%), trans-dimethoxy citral (5.0%) and geranyl acetate (6.3%). Five compounds, namely trans-linalool oxide, trans-linalool oxide acetate, (Z)-dimethoxycitral, (E)-dimethoxy citral and epi-zingiberenol are reported for the first time in oil of ginger.  相似文献

Optically clear glasses in the ZnO–Bi2O3–B2O3 (ZBBO) system were fabricated via the conventional melt-quenching technique. Dielectric constant and loss measurements carried out on ZBBO glasses unraveled nearly frequency (1 kHz–10 MHz)-independent dielectric characteristics associated with significantly low loss (D?=?0.004). However, weak temperature response was found with temperature coefficient of dielectric constant 18?±?4 ppm °C?1 in the 35–250 °C temperature range. The conduction and relaxation phenomena were rationalized using universal AC conductivity power law and modulus formalism respectively. The activation energy for relaxation determined using imaginary parts of modulus peaks was 2.54 eV which was close to that of the DC conduction implying the involvement of similar energy barriers in both the processes. Stretched and power exponents were temperature dependent. The relaxation and conduction in these glasses were attributed to the hoping and migration of Bi3+ cations in their own and different local environment.  相似文献

Complexes of titanium(IV) with bulky phenolic ligands such as 2‐tert‐butyl‐4 methylphenol, 2, 4‐di‐tert‐butyl phenol and 3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl phenol were prepared and characterized. These catalyst precursors, formulated as [Ti(OPh*)n(OPri)4?n] (OPh* = substituted phenol), were found to be active in polymerization of ethylene at higher temperatures in combination with ethylaluminum sesquichloride (Et3Al2Cl3) as co‐catalyst. It was observed that the reaction temperature and ethylene pressure had a pronounced effect on polymerization and the molecular weight of polyethylene obtained. In addition, this catalytic system predominantly produced linear, crystalline ultra‐low‐molecular‐weight polyethylenes narrow dispersities. The polyethylene waxes obtained with this catalytic system exhibit unique properties that have potential applications in surface coating and adhesive formulations.
