µ -symmetry and µ -conservation law for the extended mKdV equation

In this paper, we obtain µ -symmetry and µ -conservation law of the extended mKdV equation. The extended mKdV equation dose not admit a variational problem since it is of odd order. First we obtain µ -conservation law of the extended mKdV equation in potential form because it admits a variational problem, using it, we can obtain µ -conservation law of the extended mKdV equation.     

Shellable quasi-forests and their h-triangles

In this paper we show that a quasi-forest is shellable if and only if its h-triangle satisfies ${h_{i,j}(\Delta)=0 \quad \forall i, \forall j >1 }$ . In addition, it will be shown that a quasi-forest is sequentially Cohen-Macaulay if and only if it is shellable.     

Non-self mappings in modular spaces and common fixed point theorems

The aim of this paper, is to introduce the convex structure (specially, Takahashi convex structure) on modular spaces. Moreover, we are interested in proving some common fixed point theorems for non-self mappings in modular space.

Electrochemical study of catechol and some of 3-substituted catechols in the presence of 1,3-diethyl-2-thio-barbituric acid. Application to the electro-organic synthesis of new dispirothiopyrimidine derivatives

Electrochemical oxidation of catechol (1a), 3-methylcatechol (1b) and 3-methoxycatechol (1c) in the presence of 1,3-diethyl-2-thiobarbituric acid (3) as a nucleophile in aqueous solution has been studied using cyclic voltammetry and controlled-potential coulometry. The results indicate that (1a–1c) participating in a 1,4 (Michael) addition reaction converts to dispirothiopyrimidine derivatives (6a–6c). The electrochemical synthesis of 6a–6c has been successfully performed in an undivided cell in good yield and purity.
