The applicability of an approach to establish the sequence of oligopeptides involving on-probe-tip enzymatic fragmentation and subsequent direct fast atom bombardment (FAB) mass spectrometry (MS) and FAB-MS/MS of the subpeptide mixture was tested using two model peptides consisting of 19 and 25 amino acid residues. The method was found to be both time and sample sparing and flexible enough to use even subsequent digests, if necessary, with enzymes of different specificity. It provided in both cases complete information, not only for the sequence of enzymic fragments but also for their order in the original oligopeptide. Consequently, this approach to the sequence analysis of oligopeptides can be a method of choice when the FAB-MS/MS technique itself is unsuitable for obtaining detailed structural information. The method seems to be applicable to enzymically digestible peptides with an upper mass limit of about 3500.  相似文献

Summary Extraction of microamounts of calcium by a nitrobenzene solution of hydrogen dicarbollylcobaltate (H+B-) in the presence of 18-crown-6 (18C6, L) has been investigated. The equilibrium data have been explained assuming that the complexes HL+, CaL2+and CaL are extracted into the organic phase. The values of extraction and stability constants of the complex species in nitrobenzene saturated with water have been determined.  相似文献

The enantiomers of some amino acids have been separated on commercial chiral TLC plates in reversed-phase mode. The effect of the pH* of the aqueous-organic mobile phase on the retention and mobility of the enantiomers and on selectivity was investigated. It was shown that for most of the amino acids investigated the highest enantioselectivity was obtained at pH* 3–4 or 6–7. The drift and disturbance of the baseline on the chromatograms were also much smaller at pH* 3–4 and 6–7.  相似文献

The effect of substituted hydroxybenzophenone, benzotriazole and organic metal complexes on the photooxidation of PP films has been studied. It has been established that NiDBTC added in 1.0 wt. % is the most effective photostabilizer.While in the case of other stabilizers there is a slight increase in the Co content even during the induction period, with the application of NiDBTC practically no oxidation can be observed before the stabilizer completely disappears. This means that NiDBTC inhibits the photooxidation of the polymer even in low concentration.

The composition of the ion-association complex of Rhodamine B with silicomolybdate has been examined by Job's method and spectrophotometric titration. The ratio of Rhodamine B to silicon in the complex is 4 : 1. The same ratio is obtained by analysis of the crystalline complex. The composition of the complex is identical in aqueous medium, an organic solvent (ethanol) and in the crystalline state (C(28)H(30)N(2)O(3))(4)SiMo(12)O(40)). The complex is stable in the organic solvent and has its absorption maximum at 555 nm and a molar absorptivity of 5 x 10(5) 1.mole(-1)cm(-1). The complex can be advantageously used for the determination of silicon.  相似文献

The mass spectrometric behaviour of nine azidomorphine derivatives have been studied. These compounds proved to have surprisingly specific and selective fragmentation under electron-impact. For 6-deoxy-6-azido-dihydro-isomorphine derivatives (I to V) the main decomposition pathway involves the loss of an N2 molecule followed by a very rapid and selective fragmentation process. On the other hand, the molecular ions of 6-deoxy-8-azido-pseudomorphine derivatives (VI to VIII) and 6-deoxy-6-azido-14-hydroxy-isocodein (IX) primarily decompose by loss of the N3 radical. This is due to the allylic effect of the double bond in ring C, corresponding to the chemical behaviour of these compounds.  相似文献

Copolymers of 1,2,2,2-tetrachloroethyl esters of unsaturated acids and halogenated N-phenyl maleimides with styrene were pyrolyzed; volatile products were analyzed with a mass spectrometer combined with a gas chromatograph. Hydrogen halide and carbon dioxide in the volatile products were determined during the thermal decomposition of copolymers in glass ampoules; the acyl chloride groups were determined in the residues. The thermal decomposition of copolymers of tetrachloroethyl esters with styrene sets in at ca. 230° by the release of chloral from the copolymer and splitting of some of the CCl bonds in the copolymer. The decomposition of copolymers of styrene with halogenated N-phenyl maleimides starts above 300° by depolymerization of the polystyrene chain sections and by splitting of some of the carbon-halogen bonds. At 310 and 500° for copolymers of tetrachloroethyl esters and at 500° for halogenated N-phenyl maleimides, there is radical dehydrohalogenation of the copolymers, with depolymerization of polystyrene blocks and splitting of carbon-carbon bonds in the main chain.  相似文献

Summary Equations describing multi-step gradient elution with a mobile phase of constant composition in each step were derived. These equations useful for calculating the retention volumes in both gradient HPLC and TLC were derived on the basis of the relationship between the isocratic capacity factor and the volume fraction of the organic modifier. The validity of the equations was experimentally verified in a LiChrosorbRP-18-water/methanol system for 11 methyl- and chlorobenzenes and phenols. A satisfactory agreement between the theoretical and experimental k′ values was found.  相似文献

(+)-Linalool has been converted into R(−)-mevalonolactone by a four-step procedure in 21 per cent overall yield. The final step introduces a new method for the fission of ---CO---CH2---to ---CO2H HO2C---. (—)-Linalool similarly afforded S(+)-mevalonolactone. The absolute configuration of (+)- and (−)-linalools are established by this work as S and R respectively.  相似文献

In this paper we suggest to consider the spatial distribution of the Born-Oppenheimer nonadiabatic coupling terms as fields which are created by sources, located at degeneracy points, and which can be derived using the ordinary mathematical tools of field theory. It is shown that the curl-divergence equations as formed within a given Hilbert space [M. Baer, Chem. Phys. Lett. 35, 112 (1975)] can be converted into a set of inhomogeneous coupled Poisson equations which are solved for a given set of boundary conditions. The method is applied to the three-state Hilbert subspace of the H(3) system. The numerical results are compared with ab initio calculations for which a very encouraging fit is found.  相似文献
