Soil radon has been monitored at two fixed stations in the northern flank of Popocatepetl Volcano, a high risk volcano located 60 km SE from Mexico City. Water samples from three springs were also studied for radon as well as major and trace elements. Radon in the soil was recorded using track detectors. Radon in the water samples was evaluated using the liquid scintillation method and an Alphaguard. The major elements were determined through conventional chemical methods and trace elements using an ICP-MS equipment. Soil radon levels were low, indicating a moderate diffuse degassing through the flanks of the volcano. Groundwater radon had almost no relation with the eruptive stages. , a pO2 change gives rise to a conductivity change of the sample. While bulk diffusion usually occurs very fast, the surface transfer
reaction becomes the rate determining step for thin samples and for low temperatures. We have shown that in the case of acceptor
doped SrTiO3 the kinetics of the surface transfer reaction can be strongly influenced through stoichiometric changes brought about by
thin coatings of alkaline earth metal oxides (e.g. SrO). In contrast to the commonly used jump method (conductivity response
to a sudden pO2 change in the time domain), a model is presented which is based on the frequency-domain analysis of amplitude and phase shift
of the response signal obtained from a pO2 modulation in a fast kinetic measurement set-up. This method allows not only for measuring response times in the sub-millisecond
range but also for distinguishing between behaviour either controlled by volume diffusion or by surface transfer reaction.

0 oscillations is performed in the ALEPH data sample collected during the first phase of LEP, and reprocessed in 1998. Three
analyses based on complementary event selections are presented. First, decays of B
s
0 mesons into hadronic flavour eigenstates are fully reconstructed. This selection yields a small sample of candidates with
excellent decay length and momentum resolution and hi gh average B
s
0 purity. Semileptonic decays with a reconstructed
D
s
- meson provide a second sample with larger statistics, high average
B
s
0 purity, but a poorer momentum and decay length resolution due to the partial decay reconstruction. Finally, semileptonic
b-hadron decays are inclusively selected and yield the data sample with the highest sensitivity to B
s
0 oscillations, as the much higher statistics compensate for the low average B
s
0 purity and poorer time resolution. A lower limit is set atps-1 at 95% C.L., significantly lower than the expected limit of 15.2 ps-1.

The aldol products derived from sulfur- or selenium containing acceptors were prepared by kinetic resolution in the presence of antibody 84G3 with enantiomeric excesses ranging from 56 to 70%. Some previous works show that symmetric fixed- and variable-stepsize linear multistep methods for second-order systems which do not have any parasitic root in their first characteristic polynomial give rise to a slow error growth with time when integrating reversible systems. In this paper, we give a technique to construct variable-stepsize symmetric methods from their fixed-stepsize counterparts, in such a way that the former have the same order as the latter. The order and symmetry of the integrators obtained is proved independently of the order of the underlying fixed-stepsize integrators. As this technique looks for efficiency, we concentrate on explicit linear multistep methods, which just make one function evaluation per step, and we offer some numerical comparisons with other one-step adaptive methods which also show a good long-term behaviour.

The dependence of structural properties and surface morphology of Cu-In alloy layers on the composition and sputtering deposition sequence were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The properties of the co-sputtered alloy layers changed abruptly around the composition boundary when the Cu/In ratio reached 1/2. This can be explained by the effective heat of formation (EHF) model, which has been used to predict the sequence of phase formation for metal diffusion couples. The use of a co-sputtered alloy layer with a high In concentration was not suitable for fabricating solar cells, because the film had a very rough morphology due to large In islands formed on the CuIn2 phase. However, it was possible to minimize this phase by In sputtering followed by co-sputtering with a Cu/In ratio of 1 (Cu-In/In/Glass). This permitted the fabrication of a homogeneous Cu-In alloy layer, which was not possible through the simple co-sputtering. 相似文献

In this paper a new definition of a lattice valued intuitionistic fuzzy set (LIFS) is introduced, in an attempt to overcome
the disadvantages of earlier definitions. Some properties of this kind of fuzzy sets and their basic operations are given.
The theorem of synthesis is proved: For every two families of subsets of a set satisfying certain conditions, there is an
lattice valued intuitionistic fuzzy set for which these are families of level sets.
