A full characterization of sulfoquinovosyldiacylglycerols (SQDGs) in the lipid extract of spinach leaves has been achieved using liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization‐linear quadrupole ion trap mass spectrometry (MS). Low‐energy collision‐induced dissociation tandem MS (MS/MS) of the deprotonated species [M ? H]? was exploited for a detailed study of sulfolipid fragmentation. Losses of neutral fatty acids from the acyl side chains (i.e. [M ? H ? RCOOH]?) were found to prevail over ketene losses ([M ? H ? R'CHCO]?) or carboxylates of long‐chain fatty acids ([RCOO]?), as expected for gas‐phase acidity of SQDG ions. A new concerted mechanism for RCOOH elimination, based on a charge‐remote fragmentation, is proposed. The preferential loss of a fatty acids molecule from the sn‐1 position (i.e. [M ? H ? R1COOH]?) of the glycerol backbone, most likely due to kinetic control of the gas‐phase fragmentation process, was exploited for the regiochemical assignment of the investigated sulfolipids. As a result, 24 SQDGs were detected and identified in the lipid extract of spinach leaves, their number and variety being unprecedented in the field of plant sulfolipids. Moreover, the prevailing presence of a palmitic acyl chain (16:0) on the glycerol sn‐2 position of spinach SQDGs suggests a prokaryotic or chloroplastic path as the main route for their biosynthesis. L-Dopa (LD), a substance used medically in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, is found in several natural products, such as Vicia faba L., also known as broad beans. Due to its low chemical stability, LD analysis in plant matrices requires an appropriate optimization of the chosen analytical method to obtain reliable results. This work proposes an HPLC-UV method, validated according to EURACHEM guidelines as regards linearity, limits of detection and quantification, precision, accuracy, and matrix effect. The LD extraction was studied by evaluating its aqueous stability over 3 months. The best chromatographic conditions were found by systematically testing several C18 stationary phases and acidic mobile phases. In addition, the assessment of the best storage treatment of Vicia faba L. broad beans able to preserve a high LD content was performed. The best LD determination conditions include sun-drying storage, extraction in HCl 0.1 M, chromatographic separation with a Discovery C18 column, 250 × 4.6 mm, 5 µm particle size, and 99% formic acid 0.2% v/v and 1% methanol as the mobile phase. The optimized method proposed here overcomes the problems linked to LD stability and separation, thus contributing to the improvement of its analytical determination.  相似文献

Glycoalkaloids are naturally occurring nitrogen-containing compounds present in many species of the family Solanaceae, including cultivated and wild potatoes (Solanum spp.), tomatoes (Lycopersicon spp.), etc. These compounds have pharmacological and toxicological effects on humans due to their significant anticholinesterase activity and disruption of cell membranes. Herein is reported the development of a capillary electrophoresis (CE) method using nonaqueous (NA) separation solutions in combination with ion trap mass spectrometry (MS and MS/MS) detection for the identification and quantification of glycoalkaloids and their relative aglycones. A mixture 90:10 v/v of MeCN-MeOH containing 50 mM ammonium acetate and 1.2 M acetic acid (applied voltage of 25.5 kV) was selected as a good compromise for the separation and detection of these compounds. The electrospray MS measurements were carried out in the positive ionization mode using a coaxial sheath liquid, methanol-water (1:1) with 1% of acetic acid at a flow rate of 2.5 microL/min. Under optimized experimental conditions, the predominant ion was the protonated molecular ion ([M+H](+)) of solanidine (m/z = 398), tomatidine (m/z = 416), chaconine (m/z = 852), solanine (m/z = 868), and tomatine (m/z = 1034). MS/MS experiments were carried out systematically by changing the relative collisional energy and monitoring the intensities of the fragment ions that were not high enough to allow better quantification than with the mother ions. Problems related to non-biodegradable waste coming from vulcanized rubber represent one of the pre-eminent challenges for modern society. End-of-life tyres are an important source of this typology of waste and the increasingly high accumulation in the environment has contributed over the years to enhance land and water pollution. Moreover, the release into the environment of non-degradable micro-plastics and other chemicals as an effect of tyre abrasion is not negligible. Many solutions are currently applied to reuse end-of-life tyres as a raw material resource, such as pyrolysis, thermo-mechanical or chemical de-vulcanisation, and finally crumbing trough different technologies. An interesting approach to reduce the environmental impact of vulcanised rubber wastes is represented by the use of degradable thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) in tyre compounds. In this thematic review, after a reviewing fossil fuel-based TPEs, an overview of the promising use of degradable TPEs in compound formulation for the tyre industry is presented. Specifically, after describing the properties of degradable elastomers that are favourable for tyres application in comparison to used ones, the real scenario and future perspectives related to the use of degradable polymers for new tyre compounds will be realized.  相似文献

The title compound has been obtained in considerable yield by reacting Ru3(CO)12 with 2-pentynal-diethyl-acetal [CH3CH2CCC(H)(OEt)2] (PDA) in hydrocarbon solvents. The X-ray analysis shows that the title complex belongs to the well known family of the flyover derivatives. Some X-ray structural studies have been reported, many years ago, on di-iron flyover complexes; in contrast only a few examples of diruthenium derivatives have been structurally characterized.The complex contains ethoxy-groups which could potentially undergo hydrolysis in the presence of tetraethyl-orthosilicate (TEOS) in the presence of catalysts. Reactions of complex Ru2(CO)6[μ-η4-{EtC2C(H)(OEt)2}CO{EtC2C(H)(OEt)2}] with TEOS in the presence of HCl or of NaF (as catalysts) have been attempted. An inorganic-organometallic sol-gel material containing the skeleton of the complex has been obtained and characterized with IR-Raman, XRD on powders and SEM microscopy.  相似文献

In this paper we tackle a generalization of the Single Source Capacitated Facility Location Problem in which two sets of facilities, called intermediate level and upper level facilities, have to be located; the dimensioning of the intermediate set, the assignment of clients to intermediate level facilities, and of intermediate level facilities to upper level facilities, must be optimized, as well. Such problem arises, for instance, in telecommunication network design: in fact, in hierarchical networks the traffic arising at client nodes often have to be routed through different kinds of facility nodes, which provide different services. We propose a heuristic approach, based on very large scale neighborhood search to tackle the problem, in which both ad hoc algorithms and general purpose solvers are applied to explore the search space. We report on experimental results using datasets from the capacitated location literature. Such results show that the approach is promising and that Integer Linear Programming based neighborhoods are significantly effective.  相似文献

In this study, the experimental extraction conditions on applying headspace solid‐phase microextraction and cold fiber headspace solid‐phase microextraction (CF‐HS‐SPME) procedures to samples of six medicinal herbs commonly found in southern Brazil were optimized. The optimized conditions for headspace solid‐phase microextraction were found to be an extraction temperature of 60°C and extraction time of 40 min. For CF‐HS‐SPME, the corresponding values were 60°C and 15 min. In the case of the coating temperature for the CF‐HS‐SPME system, two approaches were investigated: (i) Temperature of 5°C applied during the whole extraction procedure; and (ii) the use of two fiber temperatures in the same extraction procedure with the aim of extracting the volatile and semivolatile compounds, the ideal condition being 60°C for the first 7.5 min and 5°C for the final 7.5 min. The three extraction procedures were compared. The CF‐HS‐SPME procedure had good performance only for the more volatile compounds whereas the strategy using two coating temperatures in the same procedure showed good performance for all compounds studied. It was also possible to determine the profile for the volatile fraction of each herb studied applying this technique followed by GC‐MS.  相似文献

Poly(butyl acrylate)-g-poly(4-vinylpyridine) graft copolymer and polypropylene modified with maleic anhydride or poly(maleic anhydride) have been prepared and characterised. These products have been tested as coupling agents in glass reinforced polyolefins. The adhesion of glass fiber or glass filler to polyolefin has been evaluated by “Single fiber composite” method or studying the volume variation under tensile strength. The results indicate that all the prepared additives improve the adhesion between olefin matrix and glass filler or fiber.  相似文献

An analytical method based on ultrasound assisted extraction (UAE) and liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray tandem mass spectrometry (LC–ESI/MS/MS) was validated and applied for determining L-dopa in four ecotypes of Fagioli di Sarconi beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), marked with the European label PGI (Protected Geographical Indication). The selectivity of the proposed method was ensured by the specific fragmentation of the analyte. Simple isocratic chromatographic conditions and mass spectrometric detection in multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) acquisition mode were used for sensitive quantification. The LC–ESI/MS/MS method was validated within a linear range of 0.001–5.000 μg/mL. Values of 0.4 and 1.1 ng/mL were obtained for the limits of detection and quantification, respectively. The repeatability, inter-day precision, and recovery values ranges were 0.6%–4.5%, 5.4%–9.9%, and 83%–93%, respectively. Fresh and dried beans, as well as pods, cultivated exclusively with organic methods avoiding any synthetic fertilizers and pesticides were analyzed showing an L-dopa content ranging from 0.020 ± 0.005 to 2.34 ± 0.05 μg/g dry weight.  相似文献
