The zinc deposition reaction onto metallic zinc has been investigated at the single particle level through the electrode-particle collision method in neutral solutions, and in respect of its dependence on the applied potential and the ionic strength of a sulphate-containing solution. Depending on the concentration of sulphate ions in solution, different amounts of metallic zinc were deposited on the single Zn nanoparticles. Specifically, insights into the electron transfer kinetics at the single particles were obtained, indicating an electrically early reactant-like transition state, which is consistent with the rate-determining partial de-hydration/de-complexation process. Such information on the reaction kinetics at the nanoscale is of vital importance for the development of more efficient and long-lasting nanostructured Zn-based negative electrodes for Zn-ion battery applications.

Abstract

Spices and aromatic herbs can be contaminated with mycotoxins, since of their preharvest, postharvest, and storage conditions. In this study, 112 samples of different spices and aromatic herbs were evaluated for their mycotoxins content by HPLC-MS/MS in order to highlight their possible risk linked with human use. The results showed that mycotoxins were occasionally detected only in samples of coriander, laurel, mint, rosemary, and verbena. In both geographical origins a different contamination was detected. Among the investigated mycotoxins, AFB2, AFG1, AFG2, T2 and HT2 were detected, whereas none of the samples contained AFB1 and FB1. The co-occurrence of two toxins were observed for some samples of rosemary and verbena. This study indicates that it is essential minimize the toxins in agriculture, industry, and food-product manufacturing for the consumer health protection.  相似文献

Headspace solid‐phase microextraction is a solvent‐free sample preparation technique that is based on the equilibrium among a three‐phase system, i.e., sample‐headspace‐fiber. A compromise between sensitivity and extraction time is usually needed to optimize the sample throughput, especially when a large number of samples are analyzed, as usually the case in cross‐samples studies. This work explores the capability of multiple‐cumulative trapping solid‐phase microextraction on the characterization of the aroma profiling of olive oils, exploiting the automation capability of a novel headspace autosampler. It was shown that multiple‐cumulative solid‐phase microextraction has the potential to improve the overall sensitivity and burst the level of information for cross‐sample studies by using cumulative shorter extraction times.  相似文献

The condensation of an enone or enal with cyanoacetamide derivatives and t-BuOK furnishes either 3-cyano-2-pyridones or 3-unsubstituted-2-pyridones, depending on whether the reaction is carried out in the presence or in the absence of O(2). In the first case, in situ oxidation of Michael-type intermediates takes place; in the second case, the products result from "decyanidative aromatization" of such intermediates. A one-step synthesis of 3-alkyl-2-pyridones has been devised on the basis of decyanative union of an enone/enal and a 2-alkylcyanoacetamide. The new reaction forms the centerpiece of an unusually concise synthesis of nothapodytine B (mappicine ketone).  相似文献

The oxidative cyclization of a phenolic amide to a spirolactam has long been regarded as an "impossible" reaction, because exposure of the substrates to a variety of oxidants results in formation of spirolactones with consequent loss of the amine segment. We recently communicated that this heretofore unknown transformation may be achieved by oxidation of oxazoline analogues of phenolic and indolic amides. A ceria-lanthana catalytic system prepared by the sol-gel technique proved to be active in 4-methylpentan-2-ol conversion, mainly leading to 4-methylpent-1-ene, a monomer for manufacturing polymers of high technological properties. The product distribution strongly depends on the acid-base features of the catalyst. The catalytic behavior of the samples was examined in the light of their acid-base properties. We report here an efficient solid-phase synthesis of N-1-alkyl-substituted analogues of cyclic inosine-diphosphate-ribose (cIDPR), a mimic of cyclic ADP-ribose (cADPR). Our synthetic strategy makes use of a polystyrene support to which inosine was bonded through a 2′,3′-acetal linkage. Insertion of a ω-hydroxy-polymethylene chain of variable length on N-1, followed by conversion into N-1-alkylinosine-bis-phosphate derivatives and cyclization, allowed to obtain analogues of cIDPR of various ring size. The cyclization step was carried out both in solid-phase and in solution by pyrophosphate bond formation. The effect of the N-1-polymethylene chain length on the cyclization yields as well as the reaction conditions, which led to the solid-phase pyrophosphate bond formation, were thoroughly investigated.  相似文献

The bacteria fatty acid profile has been extensively studied for taxonomic classification purposes, since bacteria, in general, contain particular and rare fatty acids, compared with animal and plant tissues. As for any real‐world sample type, the development of rapid and reliable methods for (i) sample identification (in this case, bacterium type), and (ii) constituent identification (in this instance, the fatty acid profile) is desirable. In this research, a half‐an‐hour procedure, to analyze bacteria, was developed: a 2‐min one‐step sample preparation step was followed by a relatively fast comprehensive 2D GC‐MS separation (25 min). Furthermore, dedicated MS libraries were constructed for the identification of bacteria and fatty acids. Finally, data processing, only qualitative at this stage, was carried out with the support of a novel comprehensive 2D GC software.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to verify the effects of probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus on zebrafish oocyte maturation using FPA (focal plane array) FTIR imaging together with specific biochemical assays (SDS-PAGE, real-time PCR and enzymatic assay). Oocyte growth is prevalently due to a vitellogenic process which consists of the hepatic synthesis of vitellogenin and its selective uptake during maturation. The administration of L. rhamnosus IMC 501 for 10 days induced chemical changes to oocyte composition, promoting the maturation process. Some interesting biochemical features, linked to protein secondary structure (amide I band) and to phospholipidic and glucidic patterns, were detailed by vibrational analysis. The spectroscopic results were supported by the early increase of the lysosomal enzyme involved in the final oocyte maturation, the cathepsin L. This enzyme increases during follicle maturation, with the highest levels in class IV oocytes. In treated females, class III oocytes showed higher cathepsin L gene expression and enzymatic activity, with levels comparable to class IV oocytes isolated from controls; this can be related to the proteolytic cleavage of the higher molecular mass yolk protein components, as evidenced by SDS-PAGE.  相似文献
