The negative ion chemical ionization mass spectra, with ammonia and methane as reagent gases, of the (η6-arene)Cr(CO)3 complexes, where the arene is C6H5COCH3, C6H5COC2H5, C6H5COC3H7, C6H5COC(CH3)3, 2-CH3C6H4COC3H7, C6H5COOCH3, C6H5CH3, 1,3,5-(CH3)3C6H3 and C6H5CH2COC2H5, are reported. Similar behaviour is observed with the two reagent gases, but ammonia shows a much higher abundance for the ions produced by reactions of [NH2]? with sample molecules. The compounds containing the C6H5CO group display an abundant [M]? ˙, whereas the other compounds exhibit [M? H]? as base peak, produced by ion/molecule reactions. A comparison of the negative ion chemical ionization mass spectra of the (η6-arene)Cr(CO)3 complexes with those of the corresponding ligands shows the strong electron withdrawing power of the Cr(CO)3 group in the gas phase.  相似文献

Summary In presence of nickel or palladium catalysts, nucleophiles can attack vinylcyclopropanes with concomitant ring cleavage. With palladium catalysts in presence of appropriate substituents the terminal carbon atom of the resulting open chain is able to add to two molecules of a conjugated diene giving rise to long-chain unsaturated compounds.  相似文献

Stable polyacrylamide (polyAA)–montmorillonite adducts were prepared by two distinct processes: (1) free radical copolymerization of AA with alkaline clay previously treated with 2-(N-methyl-N,N-diethyl ammonium iodide)ethylacrylate (QD1) and (2) direct interactions of alkaline montmorillonite with various preformed copolymers of AA with QD1. The structure of the adducts as determined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffraction was shown to consist of AA macromolecules inserted between lamellar layers whose spacing was larger than in the polymer-free clay. The polymer was strongly attached to the inorganic surfaces, probably due to cooperative formation of electrostatic bonding. The thermal stability of the organic polymers in the resulting complexes was substantially enhanced while the mobility of macromolecules decreased.  相似文献

The reaction of 4-hydroxycoumarin and certain aliphatic aldehydes affords 1:1 or complex 2:2 adducts besides (or in place) of the expected 2:1 bis(coumarin) adducts. Reaction with heptanal, cyclohexanecarbaldehyde, and pivalaldehyde are reported as representative. The structure of the reaction products was established by spectroscopical techniques, including X-ray analysis, and their formation was mechanistically rationalized. Some of the 1:1 adducts are synthetically useful for the preparation of 3-alkyl-4-hydroxycoumarins.  相似文献

On the basis of semiempirical calculations, the conformation of the isolated molecule of 2-bromo-1,1-diphenylprop-1-ene corresponding to the minimum of total energy was determined. Assuming some information on the localization of the molecules in the crystal, also the conformation in a theoretical crystal was studied. The results have been compared with the crystal structure of 2-bromo-1,1-diphenylprop-1-ene, as obtained by X-ray diffraction. From the comparison a slight displacement of the C2 atom was suggested.
Zusammenfassung Die dem Minimum der Gesamtenergie entsprechende Konformation des isolierten Moleküls von 2-Brom-1,1-diphenylprop-1-en wurde durch halb-empirische Methoden bestimmt. Gewisse Ergebnisse über die Anordnung der Moleküle im Kristall machten es möglich, die Konformation in einem theoretischen Kristall zu untersuchen. Nach Vergleich der Resultate mit der durch Röntgen-Analyse bestimmten Kristallstruktur des 2-Brom-1,1-diphenylprop-1-en wurde eine kleine Verschiebung des C2-Atoms vorgeschlagen.

Résumé Par le moyen de calculs semiempiriques on a déterminé la conformation de la molécule isolée de 2-bromo-1, 1-diphénilprop-1-ène, correspondant au minimum d'énergie totale. On a aussi étudié la conformation dans le cristal théorique en se basant sur des informations concernant la localisation des molécules dans le cristal. On a comparé ces résultats avec ceux que nous avons obtenus par la détermination de la structure cristalline du 2-bromo-1, 1-diphénilprop-1-ène avec la diffraction des rayons X: cette comparaison nous a porté à déplacer un petit peu l'atome C 2.

Soft tissue sarcomas (STS) are a rare and highly heterogeneous group of solid tumors, originating from various types of connective tissue. Complete removal of STS by surgery is challenging due to the anatomical location of the tumor, which results in tumor recurrence. Additionally, current polychemotherapeutic regimens are highly toxic with no rational survival benefit. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is a novel technology that has demonstrated immense cancer therapeutic potential. Canady Cold Helios Plasma (CHCP) is a device that sprays CAP along the surgical margins to eradicate residual cancer cells after tumor resection. This preliminary study was conducted in vitro prior to in vivo testing in a humanitarian compassionate use case study and an FDA-approved phase 1 clinical trial (IDE G190165). In this study, the authors evaluate the efficacy of CHCP across multiple STS cell lines. CHCP treatment reduced the viability of four different STS cell lines (i.e., fibrosarcoma, synovial sarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, and liposarcoma) in a dose-dependent manner by inhibiting proliferation, disrupting cell cycle, and inducing apoptosis-like cell death.  相似文献

PPARγ agonists are implicated in the regulation of diabetes and metabolic syndrome and have therapeutic potential in brain disorders. PPARγ modulates appetite through its central effects, especially on the hypothalamic arcuate nucleus (ARC). Previous studies demonstrated that the small molecule GL516 is a PPARγ agonist able to reduce oxidative stress and apoptosis with a potential neuroprotective role. Herein, we investigated the effects of GL516, in vitro and ex vivo, on the levels of hypothalamic dopamine (DA) and serotonin (5-HT). The gene expressions of neuropeptide Y, CART, AgRP, and POMC, which play master roles in the neuroendocrine regulation of feeding behavior and energy balance, were also evaluated. HypoE22 cells were treated with H2O2 (300 μM) for 2 h e 30’ and with different concentrations of GL516 (1 nM-100 µM). The cell viability was evaluated after 24 and 48 h of culturing using the MTT test. DA and 5-HT levels in the HypoE22 cell supernatants were analyzed through HPLC; an ex vivo study on isolated hypothalamic specimens challenged with scalar concentrations of GL516 (1–100 µM) and with pioglitazone (10 µM) was carried out. The gene expressions of CART, NPY, AgRP, and POMC were also determined by a quantitative real-time PCR. The results obtained showed that GL516 was able to reduce DA and 5-HT turnover; moreover, it was effective in stimulating NPY and AgRP gene expressions with a concomitant reduction in CART and POMC gene expressions. These results highlight the capability of GL516 to modulate neuropeptide pathways deeply involved in appetite control suggesting an orexigenic effect. These findings emphasize the potential use of GL516 as a promising candidate for therapeutical applications in neurodegenerative diseases associated with the reduction in food intake and stimulation of catabolic pathways.  相似文献

We report a methodology to calculate the free energy of a shape transformation in a lipid membrane directly from a molecular dynamics simulation. The bilayer need not be homogeneous or symmetric and can be atomically detailed or coarse grained. The method is based on a collective variable that quantifies the similarity between the membrane and a set of predefined density distributions. Enhanced sampling of this “Multi-Map” variable re-shapes the bilayer and permits the derivation of the corresponding potential of mean force. Calculated energies thus reflect the dynamic interplay of atoms and molecules, rather than postulated effects. Evaluation of deformations of different shape, amplitude, and range demonstrates that the macroscopic bending modulus assumed by the Helfrich–Canham model is increasingly unsuitable below the 100-Å scale. In this range of major biological significance, direct free-energy calculations reveal a much greater plasticity. We also quantify the stiffening effect of cholesterol on bilayers of different composition and compare with experiments. Lastly, we illustrate how this approach facilitates analysis of other solvent reorganization processes, such as hydrophobic hydration. Published 2019. In the present study, the phytochemical composition and bioactivities of A. maroccanus (AM) and A. radiatus (AR), two ecotypes collected in the Demnate road and Essaouira regions, respectively, were studied to highlight a pharmacological interest and to enable possible pharmaceutical development. To this end, methanolic and ethyl acetate extracts were prepared for each ecotype by fractionation; next, their phytochemical composition was evaluated by spectrophotometric and chromatographic analysis. Moreover, in line with the available evidence for Anacyclus spp. and their traditional use, a screening of bioactivities, including antioxidant, hypoglycemic, antiglycative, chelating, and antibacterial activities, was performed. The extracts were characterized by high amounts of polyphenols, tannins, and flavonoids, especially in the methanolic extracts; these samples were also enriched in carotenoids despite a lower chlorophyll content. Chlorogenic acid and rutin were the major identified compounds. The extracts also showed interesting hypoglycemic, antiglycative, and antibacterial properties, although with differences in efficacy and potency. Present results provide more scientific basis to the ethnopharmacological uses of Anacyclus spp. and suggest a further interest in AM and AR ecotypes as natural sources of bioactive compounds and/or phytocomplexes for possible pharmaceutical and nutraceutical developments.  相似文献
