The action of acyl halides on heterocyclic compounds of five-membered rings containing an O-M-O (M ? P, As, Sb) linkage is described. The reactions were either carried out in the presence of a solvent (benzene or toluene) or by direct heating of the reagent with the substrate. In the case of arsole, stibole and stannole derivatives, the cleavage of O-M bond and the formation of the respective mono- and diesters were always obtained, while with the phospholes, no cleavage of the compounds was observed. The products IIa-c (M = Sb) have been obtained in excellent yields starting from VIa-c and antimony trichloride. The structure of the compounds which were prepared was determined by analytical and spectroscopic methods and also by comparations with authentic samples where possible.  相似文献

An investigation into the selectivity of an iminodiacetic acid (IDA) modified silica gel column for transition and heavy metal ions using non-chelating inorganic eluents has been carried out. A number of eluent parameters were investigated to determine the exact retention mechanism taking place and to control selectivity. The parameters studied were eluent ionic strength and the nature of the inorganic salt used, eluent pH and eluent temperature. The results obtained showed how despite certain metal ions exhibiting similar stability constants with the bonded IDA groups, careful control of each of the above parameters, in particular eluent chloride ion concentration and eluent temperature, could result in large changes in selectivity. Optimal conditions for the isocratic and gradient separation of Mg(II), Ca(II), Mn(II), Cd(II), Co(II), Zn(II) and Pb(II) were determined. An isocratic method using a 0.035 M KCl, 0.065 M KNO3 (pH 2.5) eluent was successfully applied to the determination of Mn(II), Cd(II), Co(II) and Zn(II) at concentrations between 20 and 121 microg/l in a freshwater certified reference material (NIST 1640).  相似文献

Computerized analytical instruments of late 70's and 80's are facing rapid technological obsolescence, although they are often retaining good analytical performances. Responsibility is to be attributed to the fast advance in computer technology, which is leaving little or no back-compatibility with old standards and data formats. Rejuvenation may be reached by simple hardware and software modifications, to allow data exchange with modern PC's and LIMS. Two typical case histories for spectrometric instrumentation of late 70's are then presented and discussed in a general fashion.  相似文献

Alpha-1-antitrypsin (AAT) and alpha-1-acid glycoprotein (AAG) are reported to be the main proteins contributing to the alpha-1-globulin capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) zone, but the sum (AAT + AAG) showed lower than the alpha-1-globulin. We investigated the role of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), an additional protein migrating in the alpha-1-globulin zone, as a possible cause for such a gap. In a set of 98 sera we measured the alpha-1-globulin with a dedicated clinical capillary electrophoresis system, and AAT, AAG and apolipoprotein A-1 (ApoA) by immunonephelometry. The alpha-1-globulin were consistently higher than the sum (AAT + AAG), by (mean value +/- standard deviation) 1.70 +/- 0.88 g/L in 49 sera with low ApoA, and by 3.59 +/- 0.75 g/L in 49 sera with high ApoA. Corresponding figures in the comparison alpha-1-globulin/(AAT + AAG + ApoA) were reduced to 1.08 +/- 0.77 g/L and 1.67 +/- 0.70 g/L. It is concluded that HDL significantly contribute to the CZE alpha-1-globulin zone, but do not completely explain the differences between the electrophoretic and the immunochemical measurements. However, CZE alpha-1-globulin measurements give information about increases of the two major acute phase proteins comparable to specific protein measurements.  相似文献

The properties of the triplet state of five styrylphenanthrene (StPh) trans isomers were studied in 2-methyltetrahydrofuran (MTHF) as a function of temperature. At room temperature the T-T absorption was observed only for 4- and 9-StPh, while under these conditions 1-, 2-, and 3-StPh have too low a quantum yield of triplet formation (ΦT <0.02); their T-T absorption spectra were obtained at low temperature. ΦT of 1- and 2-StPh increases more than tenfold on going from 293 to 77 K, and the triplet lifetime (τT) increases by four orders of magnitude and approaches values of 5–40 ms at 77 K. The change in τT is explained in terms of an equilibrium between trans and perpendicular (perp) conformations of the lowest triplet state in fluid solution and temperature and viscosity effects on the trans → perp rotation. Evidence is presented for the existence of two conformeric trans triplet states of 3-StPh at 77 K. Semi-empirical calculations were performed to obtain the energy of the triplet state, the wavelengths of several T-T absorption maxima (λT), and the oscillator strength. The calculated λT values coincide with those measured in n-hexane.  相似文献

We have investigated the high-pressure properties of the molecular crystal para-diiodobenzene, by combining optical absorption, reflectance, and Raman experiments with Car-Parrinello simulations. The optical absorption edge exhibits a large red shift from 4 eV at ambient conditions to about 2 eV near 30 GPa. Reflectance measurements up to 80 GPa indicate a redistribution of oscillator strength toward the near-infrared. The calculations, which describe correctly the two known molecular crystal phases at ambient pressure, predict a nonmolecular metallic phase, stable at high pressure. This high-density phase is characterized by an extended three-dimensional network, in which chemically bound iodine atoms form layers connected by hydrocarbon bridges. Experimentally, Raman spectra of samples recovered after compression show vibrational modes of elemental solid iodine. This result points to a pressure-induced molecular dissociation process which leads to the formation of domains of iodine and disordered carbon.  相似文献

The synthesis of photochromic optically active copolymers from trans-4-(phenylazo)-1-naphthyl acrylate (PANA), or trans-4-(1-naphthylazo)-phenyl acrylate (NAPA), and (?)-menthyl acrylate (MtA) is described. The copolymers prepared, having different contents of trans-phenylazonaphthalene moieties, have been characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, UV, and GPC techniques. The chiroptical properties have been investigated by circular dichroism (CD) and the induced optical activity on the side-chain trans-phenylazonaphthalene chromophores discussed in terms of different conformational situations of the macromolecules in both the copolymer series. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The presence of non-hexagonal rings in the honeycomb carbon arrangement of graphene produces rippled graphene layers with valuable chemical and physical properties. In principle, a bottom-up approach to introducing distortion from planarity of a graphene sheet can be achieved by careful insertion of curved polyaromatic hydrocarbons during the growth of the lattice. Corannulene, the archetype of such non-planar polyaromatic hydrocarbons, can act as an ideal wrinkling motif in 2D carbon nanostructures. Herein we report an electrochemical bottom-up method to obtain egg-box shaped nanographene structures through a polycondensation of corannulene that produces a new conducting layered material. Characterization of this new polymeric material by electrochemistry, spectroscopy, electron microscopy (SEM and TEM), scanning probe microscopy, and laser desorption-ionization time of flight mass spectrometry provides strong evidence that the anodic polymerization of corannulene, combined with electrochemically induced oxidative cyclodehydrogenations (Scholl reactions), leads to polycorannulene with a wavy graphene-like structure.
