Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) are being increasingly used in various biomedical processes such as hyperthermia, cell and protein separation, enhancing resolution of magnetic resonance imaging and drug delivery. Here, SPIONs were prepared by optimized co-precipitation of iron chlorides in basic medium and then coated with gold. Bare SPIONs and Aucoated SPIONs were characterized by TEM before incubation with fetal bovine serum for 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8 and 24 h. After these interaction times, the mixture was deposed on a small column in a strong magnetic field (MACS?system). The SPIONs were retained; different washing fractions were collected and studied by UV-Vis spectroscopy and by 1D gel electrophoresis. The study revealed the presence of proteins in the washing solutions and confirmed the strong interaction of the protein with the SPIONs.  相似文献

The dispersion and the absorption properties of a driven four-level Λ-type atomic system is investigated. It is found that the interaction of double-dark states lead to controllable group velocity of the weak probe field by the intensity of driving field and the relative phase between applied fields. Moreover, the transient dispersion, absorption and the group index are also discussed. The required switching time for switching the group velocity of a weak probe field from subluminal to superluminal pulse propagation is then discussed.  相似文献

The concentration of polyethylene glycol-300 was found to play a crucial role in the formation of nanoparticles in PbS-chemical bath deposition process. We report here an endeavor to set up a relation between the variation of lead sulfide (PbS) nanocrystalline thin film properties, grown by (CBD) process at room temperature on corning glass and Si(100) substrates, with amount fluctuations of polyethylene glycol-300 in the solution. The transmittance of the films, for a fixed reaction time, increased up to ∼ 80% with the increase of % polyethylene glycol-300 in the solution, indicating the formation of very thin films due to the decrease of reaction rate with the increase of the concentration of polyethylene glycol-300. The optical band gaps were found to strongly rely on the composition of the bath deposition and increase with the increase of the polyethylene glycol-300 amount in the solution. Particle sizes between 2.8 and 8.7 nm were obtained by varying the % of polyethylene glycol-300 from 0.2 to 1.5. The concentration of polyethylene glycol-300 not only affects the reaction rate but also the morphology of the obtained films. PbS nanoparticles were found to be oriented preferentially along the < 200> plane. The absorption shifts towards short wavelength indicating a blue-shifting as a consequence of quantum confinement.  相似文献

The sensitivity of the lightest supersymmetric particle relic density calculation to the variation of the cosmological expansion rate before nucleosynthesis is discussed. Such a modification of the expansion rate, even extremely modest and with no consequence on the cosmological observations, can greatly enhance the calculated relic density, and therefore change the constraints on the SUSY parameter space drastically. We illustrate this variation in two examples of SUSY models, and show that it is unsafe to use the lower bound of the WMAP limits in order to constrain supersymmetry. We therefore suggest to use only the upper value ΩDMh2<0.135ΩDMh2<0.135.  相似文献

This paper concerns with developing of parameters which influence terminal velocities of air and CO2 bubbles in distilled water and kerosene pools. The objective of this study is to validate and correct the formulas that were developed by previous investigators for prediction of terminal velocities. The investigation revealed that the terminal velocity of a single rigid spherical bubble in Newtonian fluids can be developed by balancing of mechanical forces acting on the bubble. However, for large bubbles, because of deforming of the bubble which is a result of interfacial tension, the effect of surface tension should be considered in the terminal velocity prediction formula. By using PSO algorithm and plotting experimental data of terminal velocity against the size of gas bubbles, the suitable equation for each of systems was chosen. Results showed that Jamialahmadi model is more practical for terminal velocity prediction. Jamialahmadi model requires a modification to be utilized for air-kerosene, CO2-kerosene, air- distilled water and CO2-distilled water systems. The developed PSO algorithm model is accurate for prediction of experimental data with an average R2 value of 0.9722.  相似文献

Chlorophyll b was extracted from Heliotropium europaeum plant, then immobilized on magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4@SiO2@Chl-Mg) and found as an efficient and green catalyst for the preparation of a variety of benzimidazoles and spirooxindoles in mild conditions. The catalyst was fully characterized by Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), thermogravimetric (TGA), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and dynamic light scattering (DLS) analyses. To prove the catalytic influence of Mg over the reactions, the catalytic activity of the demetalated chlorophyll b as well as some other control experiments was investigated. High to excellent yields were achieved for all entries, whether benzimidazole or spirooxindole derivatives at short reaction times. The catalyst could be recovered and reused for several consecutive runs by a simple external magnetic field without any considerable reactivity loss. The properties of the recovered catalyst were investigated by various analyses. Finally, the reasonable mechanisms were proposed for the reactions based on the literature.  相似文献

Clarithromycin is a very important macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in human and veterinary medicine. This study reports the development and validation of cost-effective, simple, precise, accurate, and robust high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for the determination of clarithromycin (CLA) in tablets. Reversed-phase chromatography was conducted using a standard column at 55°C with ultraviolet detection at 215 nm. A mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile –2-methyl-2-propanol –potassium phosphate buffer was used at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The proposed method displayed good linearity, precision, accuracy, robustness, and specificity. The present HPLC was compared with capillary electrophoresis and bioassay methods and the results indicated that there was no significant difference between these methods. Moreover, the obtained results demonstrated the validity of the isocratic HPLC, which allows reliable quantitation of CLA in pharmaceutical samples. Thus, it can be used as a substitute alternative methodology for the routine quality control of this medicine, in situations where other methods are less accessible in the laboratory.  相似文献

The electrical characteristics of a double-gate armchair silicene nanoribbon field-effect-transistor(DG ASi NR FET)are thoroughly investigated by using a ballistic quantum transport model based on non-equilibrium Green's function(NEGF) approach self-consistently coupled with a three-dimensional(3D) Poisson equation. We evaluate the influence of variation in uniaxial tensile strain, ribbon temperature and oxide thickness on the on-off current ratio, subthreshold swing, transconductance and the delay time of a 12-nm-length ultranarrow ASi NR FET. A novel two-parameter strain magnitude and temperature-dependent model is presented for designing an optimized device possessing balanced amelioration of all the electrical parameters. We demonstrate that employing Hf O2 as the gate insulator can be a favorable choice and simultaneous use of it with proper combination of temperature and strain magnitude can achieve better device performance.Furthermore, a general model power(GMP) is derived which explicitly provides the electron effective mass as a function of the bandgap of a hydrogen passivated ASi NR under strain.  相似文献
