The ESTU began operation in 1988 and achieved the design voltage of 20 MV in 1990. Since that time, improvements to the gas handling system, negative ion injector, accelerator terminal and control system have greatly increased its capability and reliability. Today, the ESTU can efficiently produce an extensive assortment of stable ions at wide-ranging energies in support of low-energy nuclear physics.  相似文献

We construct noncommutative “Riemannian manifold” structures on dual quasitriangular Hopf algebras such as ℂ q [SU 2] with its standard bicovariant differential calculus, using the quantum frame bundle approach introduced previously. The metric is provided by the braided-Killing form on the braided-Lie algebra on the tangent space and the n-bein by the Maurer–Cartan form. We also apply the theory to finite sets and in particular to finite group function algebras ℂ[G] with differential calculi and Killing forms determined by a conjugacy class. The case of the permutation group ℂ[S 3] is worked out in full detail and a unique torsion free and cotorsion free or “Levi–Civita” connection is obtained with noncommutative Ricci curvature essentially proportional to the metric (an Einstein space). We also construct Dirac operators in the metric background, including on finite groups such as S 3. In the process we clarify the construction of connections from gauge fields with nonuniversal calculi on quantum principal bundles of tensor product form. We study the branching ratio, CP-violating asymmetry, forward-backward asymmetry and the CP-violating asymmetry in the forward-backward asymmetry for the exclusive decay B → Kτ+τ in the two Higgs doublet model with tree level flavor changing neutral currents (model III). We analyse the dependencies of these quantities on the neutral Higgs boson contributions and the CP parameter sinθ in the model III. We observe that to determine the neutral Higgs boson effects, the measurements of the forward-backward asymmetry and the CP-violating asymmetry in the forward-backward asymmetry for the decay B → Kτ+τ are promising.  相似文献

We have investigated the EPR and DNP behavior of a molecularly doped polymer modeling those used to transport electronic charge in electrophotography. The EPR spectra show no evidence of the superexchange reported for a closely related system based on tri-p-tolylamine. The difference may be due to larger charge-transfer matrix elements in the latter system. An unambiguous interpretation of the observed 1H DNP was rendered difficult by the unanticipated asymmetry of the EPR spectra. We report extensive data on the "three-spin" effect evident in the DNP-enhanced 13C NMR spectra, and comment on its potential for characterizing polymer interfaces.  相似文献

Zn–Sn–O (ZTO) thin film transistors (TFTs) were fabricated with a Cu source/drain electrode. Although a reasonably high mobility (μFE) of 13.2 cm2/Vs was obtained for the ZTO TFTs, the subthreshold gate swing (SS) and threshold voltage (Vth) of 1.1 V/decade and 9.1 V, respectively, were inferior. However, ZTO TFTs with Ta film inserted as a diffusion barrier, exhibited improved SS and Vth values of 0.48 V/decade and 3.0 V, respectively as well as a high μFE value of 18.7 cm2/Vs. The characteristics and performance of an ionic polymer–metal composite (IPMC), prepared with an anion‐exchange acrylic copolymer, was examined. The acrylic copolymer was synthesized by the radical copolymerization of fluoroalkyl methacrylate and 2‐(dimethyl amino)ethyl methacrylate(AMA). Effects of the AMA repeating unit's content in the copolymer and effects of the anion type present on the actuation of the IPMC were observed. The optimal content of 19.4 wt% AMA in the IPMC copolymer yielded the best actuation. The actuation also improved according to the type of anion present in the composite, in the following order: Br???4 ?.  相似文献

Purpose

The purpose of the study was to validate the diagnostic performance of high-resolution isovolumetric magnetic resonance arthrography (MRA) for intrinsic ligament and triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tears of the wrist as compared to conventional MR imaging (MRI).

Materials and methods

Forty-eight patients with traumatic TFCC tears at arthroscopy were enrolled. All patients had underwent proton-density- and T2-weighted MRI before arthrography and three-dimensional T1 high-resolution isovolumetric examination (3D-THRIVE) MRA on a 3-T MR. We assessed the presence of scapholunate interosseous ligament (SLIL)/lunotriquetral interosseous ligament (LTIL) or TFCC tears using the arthroscopy as a gold standard.

Results

Arthroscopy revealed 37 TFCC central tears, 15 TFCC peripheral tears, 20 SLIL tears and 13 LTIL tears. Sensitivities of MRI and MRA were 70.3% and 94.6% for detection of TFCC central tears, 60.0% and 93.3% for detection of TFCC peripheral tears, 65.0% and 85.0% for SLIL tears, and 61.5% and 84.6% for LTIL tears. The specificity of the MRI was 100% for the detection of ligaments and TFCC tears. The specificities of the MRA for detection of TFCC central tears, TFCC peripheral tears, SLIL tears and LTIL tears were 100%, 97%, 96.4% and 100%, respectively.

Conclusion

Isovolumetric 3D-THRIVE wrist MRA provided better results for depiction of intrinsic ligament and TFCC tears than wrist MRI.  相似文献
