We define what it means for a proper continuous morphism between groupoids to be Haar system preserving, and show that such a morphism induces (via pullback) a *-morphism between the corresponding convolution algebras. We proceed to provide a plethora of examples of Haar system preserving morphisms and discuss connections to noncommutative CW-complexes and interval algebras. We prove that an inverse system of groupoids with Haar system preserving bonding maps has a limit, and that we get a corresponding direct system of groupoid -algebras. An explicit construction of an inverse system of groupoids is used to approximate a σ-compact groupoid G by second countable groupoids; if G is equipped with a Haar system and 2-cocycle then so are the approximation groupoids, and the maps in the inverse system are Haar system preserving. As an application of this construction, we show how to easily extend the Maximal Equivalence Theorem of Jean Renault to σ-compact groupoids. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the dynamics of a multigroup disease propagation model with distributed delays and nonlinear incidence rates, which accounts for the relapse of recovered individuals. The main concern is the stability of the equilibria, sufficient conditions for global stability being obtained by applying Lyapunov‐LaSalle invariance principle and using Lyapunov functionals, which are constructed using their single‐group counterparts. This paper deals with the dynamics of a class of hybrid dynamical systems, which are subject to time‐dependent impulsive perturbations within a finite‐time interval and describe control strategies for integrated pest management. By using suitably defined Lyapunov functionals, sufficient conditions for the finite‐time contractive stability of the null solution are found by means of monotonicity arguments. Abstract. An MV-convergence is a convergence on an MV-algebra which renders the operations continuous. We show that such
convergences on a given MV-algebra A are exactly the restrictions of the bounded -convergences on the abelian -group in which A appears as the unit interval. Thus the theory of -convergence and Cauchy structures transfers to MV-algebras.?We outline the general theory, and then apply it to three particular
MV-convergences and their corresponding Cauchy completions. The Cauchy completion arising from order convergence coincides
with the Dedekind-MacNeille completion of an MV-algebra. The Cauchy completion arising from polar convergence allows a tidy
proof of the existence and uniqueness of the lateral completion of an MV-algebra. And the Cauchy completion arising from α-convergence
gives rise to the cut completion of an MV-algebra.

We present in this paper several results concerning the preparation by means of electrolysis and characterization of Co-Ni-Mo thin films. Co-Ni-Mo thin films with different molybdenum content in the range 0-25 at% Mo were prepared from a complex solution containing ions of Co, Ni and Mo, using galvanostatic control, on aluminum substrates. The effects of applied current density on the morphology, magnetic, magnetoresistance, and optical properties of the electrodeposited Co-Ni-Mo films were investigated. The applied current density significantly influenced the film composition and their magnetic properties. The increase of molybdenum content in Co-Ni films (up to 25 at% Mo) enhances the resistivity, but it reduces the magnetoresistance effect. We report the first observation of magnetoresistance as high as 8% in Co-Ni-Mo thin films. 相似文献
