This work gives an extensive critique of studies on methyl bromide and all its isotopic varieties with special stress on their rotational, vibrational, and rovibrational spectra. The rotational constants of more than 40 vibrational states of CH3Br and 20 of CD3Br, as well as of the ground states of all varieties, were critically examined and corrected where needed. An almost complete set of harmonic and anharmonic constants for CH3Br was derived. From the set of rotation-vibration interaction constants, new accurate equilibrium constants Ae and Be have been evaluated for CH379Br, CH381Br, CD379Br, CD381Br, from which the following equilibrium structure is obtained: re(C---H) = 1.0823 Å; re(C---Br) = 1.9340 Å; α(HCH) = 111.157°.  相似文献

Magnetic structures of pure and carbon-doped europium hexaboride EuB6?xCx, were determined by neutron diffraction on powders prepared from 11B and 153Eu. EuB6 is a simple ferromagnet, whereas the x = 0.20 compound has an incommensurate spiral structure with propagation vector τ = (0.28, 0, 0). Data for a magnetically inhomogeneous intermediate composition, x = 0.05, indicate a mixture of ferromagnetic and helimagnetic domains with τ = (0, 0, 0.104). Helimagnetism in EuB6?xCx arises from a competition between ferromagnetic near-neighbour exchange and antiferromagnetic interactions due to conduction electrons.  相似文献

We have had the chance to live through a fascinating revolution in measuring the fundamental empirical cosmological Hubble law. The key progress is analysed: (1) improvement of observational means (ground-based radio and optical observations, space missions); (2) understanding of the biases that affect both distant and local determinations of the Hubble constant; (3) new theoretical and observational results. These circumstances encourage us to take a critical look at some facts and ideas related to the cosmological red-shift. This is important because we are probably on the eve of a new understanding of our Universe, heralded by the need to interpret some cosmological key observations in terms of unknown processes and substances.  相似文献

We report here on the efficient laser action of a new Yb-doped crystal Yb3+:Lu2SiO5 (Yb:LSO) under high power diode-pumping (15 W). Its performances were compared to another Yb-doped crystal belonging to the oxyorthosilicate family: the Yb:YSO. For both crystals, more than 7 W of laser radiation around 1 m was obtained under 14.4 W of incident pump power at 978 nm, leading to high optical conversions of more than 50%. Finally, both crystals demonstrate little sensitivity to pump wavelength drift and exhibit broad tunability at a multiwatt level (more than 4 W over 50 nm and 60 nm, respectively for Yb:LSO and Yb:YSO). Femtosecond time-resolved photoemission is used to investigate the time evolution of electronic structure in the Mott insulator 1T-TaS2. A collapse of the electronic gap is observed within 100 femtoseconds after optical excitation. The photoemission spectra and the spectral function calculated by dynamical mean field theory show that this insulator-metal transition is driven solely by hot electrons. A coherently excited lattice displacement results in a periodic shift of the spectra lasting for 20 ps without perturbing the insulating phase. This capability to disentangle electronic and phononic excitations opens new directions to study electron correlation in solids.  相似文献

Two samples of non-stoichiometric La2CuO4 were synthesized, one with La/Cu<2, and the other with 10% Sn substituting Cu. They were investigated by X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and microwave-absorption techniques. The microwave-absorption data indicated that they were both superconducting, with the transition temperatures Tc of 40.5 and 41.5 K, the one doped with Sn possessing the higher Tc. The Mössbauer spectra revealed that there exist two kinds of Sn(IV) atoms disordered with Cu. Their isomer shift, δ=−0.244(4) mm/s, is in agreement with Sn(IV) coordinated by oxygen. One site was characterized by a single Mössbauer line, being associated with a weakly distorted environment, wherein the Sn, coordinated more symmetrically, is surrounded by four Cu2+ ions. On the other hand, the other site, characterized by a Mössbauer doublet exhibited a quadrupole splitting Δ=1.07(2) mm/s, being associated with a highly distorted coordination, explained to be due to Sn occupying two adjacent cationic sites. To our knowledge, such a substitution for copper ions not resulting in a decrease of Tc has not been reported previously.  相似文献

The millimeter-wave spectrum of 2,3-dihydrofuran in the ground and five ring-puckering excited states has been measured in the frequency range 100–250 GHz. The ground and first ring-puckering excited states have been fitted to a two-state Hamiltonian including Coriolis coupling interaction. The determined energy difference of 18.684(7) cm−1between these states and theaandbtype coupling parameters are consistent with the ring-puckering potential function and the previously observed dependence of the centrifugal distortion constants ΔJK, ΔK, and δK. A small ring-puckering dependence of the quartic centrifugal distortion constants ΔJand δJhas been also observed. This dependence is well accounted for in terms of the ring-puckering potential function and the vibrational dependence of the rotational constants.  相似文献

We report our results pertaining to the use of injectable autologous collagen for the correction of dysphonia resulting from a glottic gap. To date 20 cases have been treated, 13 of which were for unilateral vocal fold immobility and 7 for sulcus vergeture and/or scar. Collagen is extracted from the skin. Approximately 5 cm2 is necessary to yield 2 ml. Injection must take place in the deep layer of Reinke's space. No patient suffered from any local or general intolerance. The phonatory glottic gap was totally or partially closed. In the paralysis group, the improvements were the following: the median maximum phonation time improved from 5.8 seconds to 11 seconds, the median mean flow rate from 0.13 ml/s to 0.09 ml/s, the median glottic gap from 8.4 to 4.5 ml/dB per s, the median intensity range from 21 to 29 dB, and the median frequency range from 141 to 195 Hz. The spectral analysis layout classification improved from 2 to 3.  相似文献
