Reactions of pyrimidine‐2‐thione (HpymS) with PdII/PtIV salts in the presence of triphenyl phosphine and bis(diphenylphosphino)alkanes, Ph2P‐(CH2)m‐PPh2 (m = 1, 2) have yielded two types of complexes, viz. a) [M(η2‐N, S‐ pymS)(η1‐S‐ pymS)(PPh3)] (M = Pd, 1 ; Pt, 2 ), and (b) [M(η1‐S‐pymS)2(L‐L)] {L‐L, M = dppm (m = 1) Pd, 3 ; Pt, 4 ; dppe (m = 2), Pd, 5 ; Pt, 6 }. Complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, N), NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 31P), and single crystal X‐ray crystallography ( 1 , 2 , 4 , and 5 ). Complexes 1 and 2 have terminal η1‐S and chelating η2‐N, S‐modes of pymS−, while other Pd/Pt complexes have only terminal η1‐S modes. The solution state 31P NMR spectral data reveal dynamic equilibrium for the complexes 3 , 5 and 6 , whereas the complexes 1 , 2 and 4 are static in solution state. 相似文献

Ion transport behavior in a mechanochemically synthesized silver halide mixed composite has been investigated. AgI and AgCl, in 75: 25 mol. wt. (%) ratio, has been prepared by high energy ball milling for different milling times viz. 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 h as well as by simple physical mixing (referred to as zero hour milling). The room temperature conductivity has been evaluated as a function of milling time. The conductivity increased initially with increasing milling time, then decreased. The increase in conductivity has been attributed to the increased degree of amorphosity in the sample as a consequence of high energy ball milling. The 30-hour milled sample exhibited highest conductivity with an enhancement of more an order of magnitude from that of zero hour milled sample. To explain the ion transport mechanism in the optimum conducting sample, other basic ionic parameters viz. ionic mobility (μ), mobile ion concentration (n), ionic transference number (tion) etc. have also been determined. The materials and structural properties have been characterized using XRD, FTIR, and DSC techniques. Using the optimum conducting sample as electrolyte, all-solid-state battery has been fabricated having cell configuration: Ag (anode) // (0.75 AgI:0.25AgCl) // C + I2 + Electrolyte (cathode), and the cell performance has been studied under varying load conditions. 相似文献

We discuss possible improvements in the efficiency of dye-sensitized photovoltaic cells using dyes capable of singlet fission into two triplets, thus producing two electron-hole pairs from a single photon. It is pointed out that, in addition to derivatives of large alternant hydrocarbons, those of biradicals are also likely candidates for a favorable ordering of excited-state energy levels, E(T2), E(S1) > 2E(T1). A large number of potentially favorable structures has been examined by the semiempirical Pariser-Parr-Pople method and some also by the time-dependent density functional theory method.
