Synthesis and steric structure of [2-(3-pyridyl)piperidino](2-vinyloxyethylamino)methanethione

Thioureas derivatives were synthesized on the basis of anabasine, piperidine, and morpholine, and 2-vinyloxyethyl isothiocyanate. X-Ray diffraction was used to determine the steric structure of [2-(3-pyridyl)piperidino](2-vinyloxyethylamino)methanethione.     

Electroxidation of the alkaloids anabasine,cytisine, and lupinine at a platinum electrode in acetonitrile

The anodic behavior of anabasine, cytisine, and lupinine at a platinum electrode in anhydrous acetonitrile has been investigated and the basic kinetic parameters of their oxidation have been established.Institute of Organic Synthesis and Coal Chemistry Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, Karaganda. Molecular structure of the alkaloid solasodine

An x-ray structural study of the monohydrate of the alkaloid solasodine has been made. Rings A, C, and F have the chair conformation, ring B half-chair, and rings D and E envelope conformations. The linkages of rings B/C and C/D are trans and that of rings D/E cis. It has been shown that solasodine is a diastereomer of the alkaloid tomatidenol.A. N. Synthesis of glycoconjugates of physiologically active compounds

Synthesis of N-glycosylamines derived from D-glucose and D-galactose (glycoconjugates of aniline derivatives and of d-pseudoephedrine and cytisine alkaloids) was studied with the aim to develop new pharmaceuticals.     

Thermodynamic properties of cytisine dithiocarbamate derivatives

The heat of solution in water and the heat capacity in the range 173 K-T _m of triethylammonium, sodium, and potassium dithiocarbamates derived from cytisine were studied by calorimetry. The heats of combustion and melting and the standard enthalpies of formation of the compounds were calculated.     

Synthesis and acute toxicity of some phosphorylated derivatives of ephedrine alkaloids

The results are given of the synthesis and a comparative study of the toxicities of some phosphorylated derivatives of the alkaloids l-ephedrine and d-pseudoephedrine.
