A family of HY zeolite‐supported cationic organoiridium carbonyl complexes was formed by reaction of Ir(CO)2(acac) (acac=acetylacetonate) to form supported Ir(CO)2 complexes, which were treated at 298 K and 1 atm with flowing gas‐phase reactants, including C2H4, H2, 12CO, 13CO, and D2O. Mass spectrometry was used to identify effluent gases, and infrared and X‐ray absorption spectroscopies were used to characterize the supported species, with the results bolstered by DFT calculations. Because the support is crystalline and presents a nearly uniform array of bonding sites for the iridium species, these were characterized by a high degree of uniformity, which allowed a precise determination of the species involved in the replacement, for example, of one CO ligand of each Ir(CO)2 complex with ethylene. The supported species include the following: Ir(CO)2, Ir(CO)(C2H4)2, Ir(CO)(C2H4), Ir(CO)(C2H5), and (tentatively) Ir(CO)(H). This paper reports a method for the analysis of secondary metabolites stored in glandular trichomes, employing negative ion 'chip-based' nanospray tandem mass spectrometry. The analyses of glandular trichomes from Lychnophora ericoides, a plant endemic to the Brazilian 'cerrado' and used in traditional medicine as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent, led to the identification of five flavonoids (chrysin, pinocembrin, pinostrobin, pinobanksin and 3-O-acetylpinobanksin) by direct infusion of the extracts of glandular trichomes into the nanospray ionisation source. All the flavonoids have no oxidation at ring B, which resulted in a modification of the fragmentation pathways compared with that of the oxidised 3,4-dihydroflavonoids already described in the literature. The absence of the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant di-C-glucosylflavone vicenin-2, or any other flavonoid glycosides, in the glandular trichomes was also demonstrated. The use of the 'chip-based' nanospray QqTOF apparatus is a new fast and useful tool for the identification of secondary metabolites stored in the glandular trichomes, which can be useful for chemotaxonomic studies based on metabolites from glandular trichomes.  相似文献

Carotenoids are natural products with high economic relevance for the pharmaceutical industries and are a common subject for biochemical research. Reported here is a comparative study of the ionisation of carotenoids by electrospray mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) and nanospray mass spectrometry (nanoESI-MS). The results demonstrate that, along with solvent choice, the influence of the different ionisation processes of ESI and nanoESI are fundamental in determining how ionisation is achieved and which ions (molecular ion or protonated molecule) are observed in MS. The increased understanding afforded by this study will help in the development of unequivocal microanalytical methods for carotenoids and related antioxidant polyenes.  相似文献

Tantalum clusters have been synthesized from Ta(CH2Ph)5 on the surface of porous fumed SiO2. When these clusters are small, incorporating, on average, several Ta atoms, their chemistry is similar to that of molecular tantalum clusters (and other early transition-metal) clusters. For example, The Ta-Ta bonds in these small supported clusters have been characterized by extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS), IR, and UV-vis spectroscopy, being similar to those in molecular analogues. The redox reactions of the supported clusters, characterized by X-ray absorption near-edge structure, are analogous to those of early transition-metal clusters in solution. In contrast to the largest of these clusters in solution and in the solid state, those supported on SiO2 are raftlike, facilitating the substantial metal-support-oxygen bonding that is evident in the EXAFS spectra. Samples consisting of tantalum clusters on SiO2 catalyze alkane disproportionation and the conversion of methane with n-butane to give other alkanes, but catalytic properties of analogous clusters in solution have barely been explored.  相似文献

Previous calculations of transport coefficients of particle systems in two or more dimensions have used computer simulations or various approximations, like those implicit in the Boltzmann equation or in the standard probability theory of diffusion. Here an exactly solved model of crystal growth in three dimensions is transformed into a 2D model of steady particle transport. Then the exact, many-body stationary distribution and exact transport coefficients can be found as well as correlation functions. The model is highly asymmetric. In the transverse direction, particles are strongly attracted, so that long transverse rows of particles tend to form at low temperature. Kinks in these rows are rare, so the transverse positions of kinks effectively move continuously on a large distance scale.  相似文献

The analysis of low molecular weight compounds by matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionisation mass spectrometry is problematic due to the interference and suppression of analyte ionisation by the matrices typically employed – which are themselves low molecular weight compounds. The application of colloidal graphite is demonstrated here as an easy to use matrix that can promote the ionisation of a wide range of analytes including low molecular weight organic compounds, complex natural products and inorganic complexes. Analyte ionisation with colloidal graphite is compared with traditional organic matrices along with various other sources of graphite (e.g. graphite rods and charcoal pencils). Factors such as ease of application, spectra reproducibility, spot longevity, spot‐to‐spot reproducibility and spot homogeneity (through single spot imaging) are explored. For some analytes, considerable matrix suppression effects are observed resulting in spectra completely devoid of matrix ions. The design of a synthetic route to a class of enantiomerically pure phosphaalkene-oxazolines (PhAk-Ox) is presented. The condensation of a lithium silylphosphide and a ketone (the phospha-Peterson reaction) was used as the P=C bond-forming step. Attempted condensation of PhC(=O)Ox (Ox = CNOCH(iPr)CH(2)) and MesP(SiMe(3))Li gave the unusual heterocycle (MesP)(2)C(Ph)=CN-(S)-CH(iPr)CH(2)O (3). However, PhAk-Ox (S,E)-MesP=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?a) was successfully prepared by treating MesP(SiMe(3))Li with PhC(=O)CMe(2)Ox (52?%). To demonstrate the modularity and tunability of the phospha-Peterson synthesis several other phosphaalkene-oxazolines were prepared in an analogous manner to 1?a: TripP=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?b; Trip = 2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl), 2-iPrC(6)H(4)P=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?c), 2-tBuC(6)H(4)P=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?d), MesP=C(4-MeOC(6)H(4))CMe(2)Ox (1?e), MesP=C(Ph)C(CH(2))(4)Ox (1?f), and MesP=C(3,5-(CF(3))(2)C(6)H(3))C(CH(2))(4)Ox (1?g). To evaluate the PhAk-Ox compounds as prospective precursors to chiral phosphine polymers, monomer 1?a and styrene were subjected to radical-initiated copolymerization conditions to afford [{MesPC(Ph)(CMe(2)Ox)}(x){CH(2)CHPh}(y)](n) (9?a: x = 0.13n, y = 0.87n; GPC: M(w) = 7400?g mol(-1) , PDI = 1.15).  相似文献
