The paper reports the first chemical study of the porostome nudibranch Doriopsilla pelseneeri collected off the Portuguese coast (Atlantic Ocean). Two new furanosesquiterpene alcohols, pelseneeriol-1 (1) and pelseneeriol-2 (2), have been isolated together with known compounds, 15-acetoxy-ent-pallescensin-A (5), and dendocarbin-A (6), from the mantle of the nudibranch, whereas euryfuran (3) and drimane ester mixture 4 were identified in the extract of the internal glands. The structures of 1 and 2 have been determined by extensive spectroscopic studies as well as by comparison with literature model compounds. In order to assess the relative stereochemistry of 1 and 2, full NMR assignment of related sponge metabolite microcionin-2 (8) and of co-occurring sesquiterpenes 9-11, that have been re-isolated from the Mediterranean sponge Fasciospongia cavernosa, has been also conducted. In particular, the relative stereochemistry of tricyclic sesquiterpene microcionin-1 (9) has now been rigorously assigned by detailed analysis of NOE difference experiments.  相似文献

Low-spin, high-spin and spin-transition behaviours have been observed for the doubly interpenetrating three-dimensional bimetallic compounds (FeII(pz)[Ag(CN)2]2).pz (pz = pyrazine), (FeII(4,4'-bipy)2[Ag(CN)2]2) (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine), and (FeII(bpe)2[Ag(CN)2]2) (bpe = bispyridylethylene), respectively. The single crystals of the bpe derivative undergo a spin transition with a large hysteresis loop at about 95 K. After several warming and cooling cycles, the single crystals become a microcrystalline powder with 50% spin transition. Influence of pressure--as well as light-induced excited spin-state trapping (LIESST) on the thermal 50% spin transition of the microcrystalline sample has also been investigated. Thermal spin-transition behaviour has also been induced at pressures higher than 1 bar for the 4,4'-bipy derivative. Both the 4,4'-bipy and bpe derivatives show strong pressure dependence of the spin state at 300 K.  相似文献

Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of vinyl-terminated 3- and 8-carbon compounds were generated on Si substrates and reacted at room temperature with approximately 1 ppm gaseous O(3). A combination of atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Auger electron spectroscopy (AES) and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) was used to study the surface composition and morphology after oxidation. A distribution of large ( approximately 0.1-10 microm) organic aggregates was formed, while the surrounding substrate became depleted of carbon compared to the unreacted SAM. This highly unusual result establishes that the mechanism of ozonolysis of alkene SAMs must have a channel that is unique compared to that in the gas phase or in solution, and may involve polymerization induced by the Criegee intermediate (CI). Oxidation at 60% RH led to the formation of a number of smaller aggregates, suggesting water intercepted the CI in competition with aggregate formation. The uptake of water, measured using transmission FTIR, was not increased upon oxidation of these films. In conjunction with literature reports of polymer formation from VOC-NO(x) photooxidations, these results suggest that formation of aggregates and polymers in the atmosphere is much more widespread than previously thought. The implications for the ozonolysis of alkenes on surfaces, for the transformation of organics in the atmosphere, and for the reactions and stability of unsaturated SAMs, are discussed.  相似文献

The reaction methyl naphthalene-2-sulfonate + Br(-) was investigated in several alkanediyl-α-ω-bis(dodecyldimethylammonium) bromide, 12-s-12,2Br(-) (with s = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12), micellar solutions in the absence and in the presence of various additives. The additives were 1,2-propylene glycol, which remains in the bulk phase, N-decyl N-methylglucamide, MEGA10, which forms mixed micelles with the dimeric surfactants, and 1-butanol, which distributes between the aqueous and micellar phases. Information about the micellar reaction media was obtained by using conductivity and fluorescence measurements. In all cases, with the exception of water-1,2-prop 12-5-12,2Br(-) micellar solutions, with 30% weight percentage of the organic solvent, a sphere-to-rod transition takes place upon increasing surfactant concentration. In order to quantitatively explain the experimental data within the whole surfactant concentration range, a kinetic equation based on the pseudophase kinetic model was considered, together with the decrease in the micellar ionization degree accompanying micellar growth. However, theoretical predictions did not agree with the experimental kinetic data for surfactant concentrations above the morphological transition. An empirical kinetic equation was proposed in order to explain the data. It contains a parameter b which is assumed to account for the medium micellar kinetic effects caused by the morphological transition. The use of this empirical equation permits the quantitative rationalization of the kinetic micellar effects in the whole surfactant concentration range.  相似文献

Bidirectional chemo‐switching of magnetism occurs in a microporous coordination polymer containing spin‐crossover subunits, as described by M. Ohba, J. A. Real, S. Kitagawa, and co‐workers in their Communication on page 4767 ff. In situ magnetic measurements reveal that most guest molecules transform the framework spin state from diamagnetic low spin (red) to paramagnetic high spin (yellow), whereas the guest CS2 stabilizes the low‐spin state. These induced spin states are retained as a memory effect after the release of the guest.

A new tendency in cosmetic formulations is the association of botanical extracts and vitamins to improve skin conditions by synergic effects. The objective of this study was to determine the antioxidant activity of associated bioflavonoids, retinyl palmitate (RP), tocopheryl acetate (TA) and ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate (ATIP), as well as their photoprotective effects in preventing increased erythema, transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and sunburn cell formation in hairless mouse skin. The antioxidant activity of solutions containing the association or each substance separately was evaluated in vitro by a chemiluminescence assay. The photoprotective effect was evaluated by means of in vivo tests. Dorsal skin of hairless mice was treated daily by topical applications for 5 days with formulations containing or not containing (vehicle) the flavonoid-vitamins association (5%). The skin was irradiated (UVA/B) 15 minutes after the last application. The results showed that bioflavonoids had in vitro antioxidant properties and also that when they were associated with vitamins their antioxidant activity was more pronounced. On the other hand, erythema and UV damage to the permeability barrier function (TEWL) was not significantly reduced by previous treatment with the flavonoid-vitamin-association formulations, when compared to the irradiated vehicle-treated area. However, the treatment protected the skin from UV damage because it reduced the number of sunburn cells, when compared to the vehicle-treated area. Finally, the association of vitamins and bioflavonoids added to a dermocosmetic formulation showed a relevant biological activity in terms of photoprotection, because the association of bioflavonoids and vitamins acted by different mechanisms, such as antioxidation and absorption of UV radiation, which suggests its use in antiaging and photoprotective products.  相似文献

The four stereoisomers of methyl nilate, methyl 3-hydroxy-2-methylbutanoate, have been separated and analyzed by the direct simultaneous achiral-chiral high-resolution gas chromatography (HRGC) and also by the chiral high-resolution gas chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (HRGC-TOF-MS). The method involved the use of DB-5 and CP Chirasil-Dex CB columns. The elution sequences on the two columns were determined and are reported. The one-step GC method allows the identification by retention data and simultaneously to determine unequivocally the absolute configuration of nilic acid moieties contained in minor complex natural products without previous isolation, as part of a general strategy for the structure determination of the compounds.  相似文献

Copper contamination occurs frequently in silicon for photovoltaic applications due to its very fast diffusion coupled with a low solid solubility, especially at room temperature. The combination of these properties exerts a challenge on the direct analysis of Cu bulk concentration in Si by sputtering techniques like glow discharge mass spectrometry (GDMS). This work aims at addressing the challenges in quantitative analysis of fast diffusing elements in Si matrix by GDMS. N-type, monocrystalline (Czochralski) silicon samples were intentionally contaminated with Cu after solidification and consequently annealed at 900 °C to ensure a homogeneous distribution of Cu in the bulk. The samples were quenched after annealing to control the extent of the diffusion to the surface prior to the GDMS analyses, which were carried out at different time intervals from within few minutes after cooling onward. The Cu profiles were measured by high-resolution GDMS operating in a continuous direct current mode, where the integration step length was set to ~0.5 μm over a total sputtered depth of 8–30 μm. The temperature of the samples during the GDMS analyses was also measured in order to evaluate the diffusion. The Cu contamination of n-type Si samples was observed to be highly material dependent. The practical impact of Cu out-diffusion on the calculation of the relative sensitivity factor (RSF) of Cu in Si is discussed.  相似文献
