Complexes of rare earth trifluoroacetates (TFA) with 4-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (MMNO) of composition Ln(TFA)3·3MMNO (Ln=Eu, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb and Y) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis data, complexometric titration with EDTA,
IR absorption spectra, thermogravimetric analyses and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in N2 atmosphere. Infrared spectroscopy data revealed that the MMNO molecules are bound to the central ion through the oxygen of
NO groups. These data suggest that the trifluoracetate groups are also coordinated. Thermogravimetric curves indicate that
the decomposition of MMNO begins at approximately 350 K and results in Ln2O3 residue at around 1170 K. A theoretical kinetic study was carried out using a QBASIC program with the TG input data for the
Dy complex.

Determination of carbendazim, thiabendazole and fuberidazole using a net analyte signal-based method

The net analyte signal (NAS)-based method HLA/GO, modification of the original hybrid linear analysis (HLA) method, has been used to determine carbendazim, fuberidazole and thiabendazole in water samples. This approach was used after a solid-phase extraction (SPE) step, using the native fluorescence emission spectra of real samples, previously standardized by piecewise direct standardization (PDS). The results obtained show that the modification of HLA performs in a similar way that partial least-squares method (PLS-1). The NAS concept was also used to calculate multivariate analytical figures of merit such as limit of detection, selectivity, sensitivity and analytical sensitivity (γ−1). With this purpose, blanks of methanol and ternary mixtures, with the target analyte at low concentration and the other two ranging according to the calibration matrix, were used, with different results. Detection limits calculated in the last way are more realistic and show the influence of the other components in the sample. Selectivity for carbendazim is higher than the corresponding values for fuberidazole and thiabendazole, whereas sensitivity, as well as the values obtained for their detection limits, are lower for carbendazim, followed by thiabendazole and fuberidazole. Results obtained by modification of HLA vary in the same way that the ones obtained by PLS-1. 相似文献

Quantitative nuclear magnetic resonance measurements have become more popular over the last decade. The introduction of new methods and experimental parameters has been of fundamental importance in the development of new applications. Amongst these new developments is the introduction of electronic referencing for quantifications. The use of electronic referencing eliminates errors in the analyses as a result of weighting of internal standards as well as undesired problems as a result of the solubility of the standards in the analyte solution and chemical interactions between the analyte and the internal standard. In this work, we have studied the quantification of a very important analyte in a food matrix, benzoic acid in orange juice, as a model to the validation and measurement uncertainty estimation of electronic referencing using 1H NMR in food analyses. The referencing method applied was the pulse length‐based concentration measurement. Method was validated and showed good results for the precision and accuracy parameters evaluated. A certified reference material and a reference material candidate were analyzed, and extremely good results were obtained. Reported relative expanded uncertainties are in the 1.07–1.39% range that can be considered an extremely good performance for the analysis of a food complex matrix. Measurement uncertainty was evaluated by two different approaches, and the pulse calibrations for the samples and for the reference have been shown to account for approximately 80% of the total uncertainty of the measurement. Phenolic composition and in vitro total antioxidant capacity have been evaluated, in red and white Portuguese wines, by electrochemical methods, spectrophotometric methods, and reverse‐phase high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection (HPLC‐EC). The different phenolic compounds present in seventeen red and white wines, with different grape varieties, and from different geographical locations, were successfully identified and detected. The wines in vitro total antioxidant capacity, using the method of capture of diphenilpicrilhydrazil (DPPH.) free radical “efficient concentration” (EC50), and the electrochemical quantitative index (EI), was determined. The wine with the highest total antioxidant capacity exhibited the lowest antioxidant power, and the EI and EC50 assays had a very good correlation. 相似文献

Quimi‐Hib is a conjugate vaccine against Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib) where the Hib antigen is the only one produced by chemical synthesis. NMR has become the alternative of choice for the identity of intermediates during the chemical synthesis of Hib antigen. We explore a rapid quantitative proton magnetic resonance (qHNMR) assay for the determination of N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF) as a residual in one of the critical intermediates. The proposed assay has been shown to be accurate, precise for intermediate precision conditions (relative standard deviation <3% for spectrometer‐to‐spectrometer variations), specific (no detected interferences), and rugged (percentage difference <3% for day‐to‐day and spectrometer‐to‐spectrometer variations). The quantitative NMR assay can replace the common chromatographic methods for monitoring the DMF contents in one crucial step of the synthetic scheme. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

The asymmetric synthesis of methyl (E)-4-((1R,2S,3R)-3-amino-2-((E)-2-methoxycarbonyl-eten-1-yl)cyclohexyl)but-2-enoate 14 has been achieved from dimethyl (2E,7E)-nona-2,7-dienedioate 2. A key step is the asymmetric synthesis of 1-hydroxyoctahydro-1H-isochromene derivative 5 whose X-ray analysis corroborated the stereochemistry of the new stereocenters. The asymmetric synthesis of the isochromenyl acetate derivative 11 shows the potential of this methodology for fused cyclohexanic system heterocyclic synthesis. 相似文献
