Ruthenium‐catalyzed synthesis of quinolines via reductive heteroannulation of nitroarenes with 3‐amino‐1‐propanols

Nitroarenes are reductively cyclized with 3‐amino‐1‐propanols in dioxane/H₂O in the presence of a ruthenium catalyst and tin(II) chloride dihydrate together with isopropanol to afford the corresponding quinolines. A reaction pathway involving initial reduction of nitroarenes to anilines, propanol group transfer from 3‐amino‐1‐propanols to anilines, N‐alkylation of anilines by 3‐anilino‐1‐propanols and heteroannulation of 1,3‐dianilinopropanes is proposed.     

D,L-1,2,2-三甲基环戊烷-1,3-二胺硝酸镍配合物的合成、结构及其和手性D-(+)-1,2,2-三甲基环戊烷-1,3-二胺氯化镍配合物的对比分析(英)

A nickel(Ⅱ) complex [Ni(La)₂](NO₃)₂ (1) with bidentate racemic 1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentane-1,3-diamine ligand has been synthesized and characterized by IR, EA, ES-MS, and its X-ray diffraction study reveals that the nickel(Ⅱ) center is tetra-coordinated by one D- and one L- diamine ligands, and a three-dimensional hydrogen-bond-sustained network is formed in the solid state by means of the eight-membered N-H…O hydrogen bond cycle. This compound also supplies a good comparison to the chiral complex [Ni(L_b)₂]Cl₂·2H₂O (2) (L_b=D-(+)-1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentane-1,3-diamine). CCDC: 218122.     

Syntheses of (-)-TAN-2483A, (-)-massarilactone B, and the fusidilactone B ring system. Revision of the structures of and syntheses of (+/-)-Waol A (FD-211) and (+/-)-Waol B (FD-212)

The structure of waol A has been revised from 1 to 6, the vinylogue of TAN-2483A (5). Aldol reaction of hydroxybutanolides 13b,c with 2,4-hexadienal affords 12b,c, which are subjected to iodoetherification with bis(sym-collidine)IPF6 to provide 11b(c). Treatment with Et3N in CH2Cl2 completes the three-step syntheses of TAN-2483A (5) and waol A (6). Aldol reaction of hydroxybutanolide 31 with 2,4-hexadienal affords 32, which is subjected to iodoetherification to provide 34, which in turn is treated with Bu3SnCl, NaBH3CN, and oxygen to provide diol 60. Further elaboration completes the first syntheses of massarilactone B (7) and the fusidilactone B (9) ring system.     

Quantitative measurement of collagen methylation by capillary electrophoresis

Collagen methylation has been exploited in various applications involving living cells. We have observed correlation between the collagen methylation with the rate of cell proliferation in three-dimensional (3-D) microenvironment. To quantify the degree of collagen methylation, we have developed a capillary zone electrophoresis method. Using a polyvinyl alcohol-coated fused-silica capillary and UV detection at 200 nm, we have optimized pH and separated the native collagen into three major bands in phosphate buffer (50 mM, pH 2.5) with 0.05% hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Under these conditions, the methylated collagens were separated into four major bands, which changed with different methylation reaction conditions. We propose an index to quantify the degree of collagen methylation that also correlates with their effects on cell proliferation.     

植物样品中单宁的微波溶出快速测定法研究

研究了利用微波代替一般的沸水浴处理试样的方法。对不同植物样品中单宁的浸提测定，与常规方法做了对照，并讨论了微波功率、时间、酸度等因素对测定结果的影响。研究表明，此法可大大地缩短测定时间，提高测定效率，节省人力、物力，不污染环境，便于大批量样品的测定，相对标准偏差≤１．４％，测定结果较为满意。为植物样品中单宁的测定，提供了一个快速、简便、准确的分析方法，并可借鉴于其它样品的测定。     

Synthesis of isoxazolo[4,5-d]pyridazin-4(5H)-ones and 4-acyl-5-hydroxy-3(2H)-pyridazinones

The title compounds were prepared from ethyl 5-acyl- or 5-(1-hydroxyethenyl)isoxazole-4-carboxylates which in turn were prepared from ethyl 3-methylamino-2-butenoate or 3(2H)-furanones.     

Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of ketones with hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by Sn-aniline complex

Sn-aniline complex was prepared by a simple procedure.Cyclic and acyclic ketones were oxidized into lactones or esters with very high selectivity and yield with 30% hydrogen peroxide in the presence of Sn-aniline complex.     

Two new tetranuclear complexes of the macrocyclic oxamide [MCu3] (M = Cd, Mn, macrocyclic oxamide = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotradecanne-2,3-dione): syntheses, spectra and magnetic properties

Two new tetranuclear complexes of macrocyclic oxamide [Cd(CuL)₃](NO₃)₂·2.5H₂O 1, [Mn(CuL)₃(OH)₂](ClO₄)₂·Mn(H₂O)₆·4.5H₂O 2 (L = 1,4,8,11-tatraazacyclotradecanne-2,3-dione) have been synthesized, structurally characterized and preliminary investigated by magnetic studies. The structures of the title complexes consist of a tetranuclear units MCu₃ (M = Cd, Mn), the packing diagram shows two-dimensional and three-dimensional system through intermolecular weak interactions. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities of complex 2 were analyzed by an approximate treatment leading to J = −33 cm⁻¹, g_Cu = 2.10, g_Mn = 1.95 indicating antiferromagnetic exchange between Cu(II) and Mn(II) ions.     

Catalytic asymmetric synthesis of quaternary trifluoromethyl α- to ε-amino acid derivatives via umpolung allylation/2-aza-Cope rearrangement

In this study, we developed an efficient Ir-catalyzed cascade umpolung allylation/2-aza-Cope rearrangement of tertiary α-trifluoromethyl α-amino acid derivatives for the preparation of a variety of quaternary α-trifluoromethyl α-amino acids in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities. The umpolung reactivity empowered by the activation of the key isatin-ketoimine moiety obviates the intractable enantioselectivity control in Pd-catalyzed asymmetric linear α-allylation. In combination with quasi parallel kinetic resolution or kinetic resolution, the generality of this method is further demonstrated by the first preparation of enantioenriched quaternary trifluoromethyl β-, γ-, δ- and ε-amino acid derivatives.

Bioinspired manganese complexes catalyzed epoxidation for the synthesis of the epoxyketone fragment of carfilzomib

We report herein an efficient catalytic epoxidation reaction for the synthesis of epoxyketone (tert-butyl ((S)-4-methyl-1-((R)-2-methyloxiran-2-yl)-1-oxopentan-2-yl)carbamate), which is an important synthetic intermediate of carfilzomib.
