Photoconductivity (PC) studies were carried out on GaS single crystals prepared from melt by directional solidification. We studied the effect of light intensity, applied voltage on both the PC and the lifetime of carriers. The V-I characteristics and the absorption spectra were checked for different sample thickness. The present investigation was extended to study the spectral distribution of the photocurrent for GaS. It was found that the photocurrent curves are practically independent of the bias voltage. The energy gap for GaS was found to be 2.5 eV.  相似文献

The electrical properties of pure and Li2O-doped CuO/Fe2O3 solids were investigated. Pure and variously doped solids were subjected to thermal treatment at 1073–1273 K and the amount of dopant was varied between 0.84 to 3.36 mol%. The effect of precalcination temperature and amount of Li2O added on the electrical conductivity σ, activation energy Ea and dielectric constant * were studied. The variation of ′ and ″ as a function of frequency for pure and variously doped solids precalcined at different temperatures was also investigated. The results obtained were discussed.  相似文献

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate setting reaction and the time of three bioceramics (Endosequence, iRoot-SP, and Smartpastebio) compared with glass ionomer (ActiV-GP) root canal sealers.

Materials and methods: Setting reaction was tested using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and X-ray Diffraction; setting time was measured using a Vicat needle.

Results: Three-bioceramic sealers composed of calcium hydroxide, calcium phosphate, calcium silicate, silicon oxide, and zirconium oxide. During their setting, calcite and calcium phosphate silicate were detected. Their setting took longer time than ActiV-GP that have aluminum polyacrylate and calcium phosphate silicate in set mass.

Conclusions: Bioceramic sealers took longer time to set than expected.  相似文献

Within the framework of the theory of teleparallel gravity, we formulate a class of spacetime in 4-dimensions which is asymptotically approaches to (anti)-de Sitter, Ads, geometry. This spacetime describes an electrically charged rotating solution in cylindrical coordinate. The total conserved charges of this spacetime is calculated by using a relocalization of the total conserved charge, i.e. a Poincaré gauge version and a satisfactory result is achieved.  相似文献

The field equations of a special class of teleparallel theory of gravitation and electromagnetic fields are applied to tetrad space having cylindrical symmetry with four unknown functions of radial coordinate r and azimuth angle θ. The vacuum stress-energy momentum tensor with one assumption concerning its specific form generates one non-trivial exact analytic solution. This solution is characterized by a constant magnetic field parameter B0. If B0 = 0, then the solution will reduce to the flat spacetime. The energy content is calculated using the superpotential given by MФller in the framework of teleparallel geometry. The field equation of higher dimensions theory, have been applied in the area of cosmology. The resulting differential equations are solved for open and closed. We derive a relation between the Einstein constant G(t) and the cosmological constant Λ(t) from the conservation law T μ ν ;ν =0. We give a specific form of Λ(t) to solve the non-linear differential equations. Some cosmological parameters are calculated and some relevant cosmological problems are discussed.  相似文献

Optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) is a promising operational system for future backhaul optical networks especially for switching and optical signal multiplexing. However, OCDMA operation is restricted by multiple access interference (MAI) due to the asynchronous nature of transmission. In this study, we discuss an efficient MAI technique for OCDMA systems that depends not only on using hybrid frequency shift keying (FSK) modulation but also on employing the double padded modified prime code (DPMPC) as a signature sequence. MAI cancellation is performed by subtracting a reference signal from the received signal of the desired user. The simulation results show that the performance of the FSK-OCDMA technique is superior to the performance of the PPM-OCDMA technique. Furthermore, the obtained results illustrate that the FSK-OCDMA technique is able to accommodate a large number of simultaneous active users with low error-rate.  相似文献

Five homologous series of 4-substituted phenyl 4′-(4″-alkoxy phenylazo) benzoates (Ina?e) were prepared in which, within each homologous series, the length of the terminal alkoxy group varies between 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 carbons, while the other terminal substituent, X, is a polar group that alternatively changed from CH3O, CH3, H, Br, and CN groups. Compounds prepared were characterised by infrared, mass, and H1-NMR spectroscopy and their mesophase behaviour investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polarised light microscopy (PLM). The results were discussed in terms of mesomeric and polarisability effects. Only for the lower group of compounds, I8a-e, that showed a nematic phase, the nematic-to-isotropic transition temperatures (TN–I) were successfully correlated to the polarisability anisotropy of bonds to the substituent X. A comparative study was made between the investigated compounds and two previously prepared isomeric groups. In the first group of isomers, 4-(4′alkoxy phenylazo) phenyl 4″-substituted benzoates (IInae), the ester groups are inverted. While in the second, 4-(4′-substituted phenylazo) phenyl 4″-alkoxy benzoates (IIInae), two modifications were made, inversion of the COO group, and exchange of the two wing substituents  相似文献
