The nonlinear electrohydrodynamic stability of
cylindrical interface, supporting surface charge, among two
conducting fluids is investigated. The two fluids are subjected to
a radial electric field. The analysis based on the multiple scale
technique. It is shown that the evolution of the amplitude is
governed by two partial differential equations. These equations
are combined to yield two alternate Schrödinger equations with
cubic nonlinearity. One of which calculates the nonlinear cutoff
electric field, separating stable and unstable disturbances, while
the other is used to analyze the stability of the system. The
stability criteria are analytically discussed and numerically
confirmed. Numerical calculations resulted in set of graphs to

A sensitive and rapid Spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of guanethidine sulphate, guanfacine hydrochloride, guanoclor sulphate and guanoxan sulphate in tablets and spiked human serum and urine samples is described. The method is based on the reaction of monosubstituted guanidino compounds in an aqueous potassium hydroxide solution with benzoin, in the presence of -mercaptoethanol and sodium sulphite. Highly fluorescent derivatives were obtained, with excitation and emission maximum wavelengths around 325 and 430 nm, respectively. In optimal reaction conditions, the linearity ranges were 0.04–0.28 g/ml, with relative standard deviations less than 2%. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of these drugs in tablets. The results are highly correlated with the B.P. method. Chloroform (or for guanoxan dichloromethane) was used to extract the drugs from serum and urine at basic pH, followed by the proposed fluorimetric method. The limit of detection is 0.02 g/ml for the selected drugs. 相似文献

The development of a sensor for the direct and selective determination of atmospheric ethanol is in the initial stages. The sensor takes advantage of the selective chemical reaction between ethanol and vanadium oxinate. This reaction occurs in an organic medium where a red colored complex is the product. This reaction is determined spectrophotometrically where the absorbance maxima is 475 nm. Despite its extremely weak adsorption at the water/silica interface, carbofuran can, however, induce the coadsorption of metallic salts, like, for example, lead nitrate, and thus enhance its adsorption. We quantitatively studied this phenomenon with a depletion method and under concentration conditions close to the environmental ones. Heavy metal salt was found to positively adsorb, whereas carbofuran relative adsorption is generally slightly negative. A novel approach for the synthesis of various fragments of proteophosphoglycans from Leishmania major and Leishmania mexicana proteophosphoglycans has been developed. These compounds have been obtained by coupling alpha-mannosyl and alpha-N-acetyl-glucosamine phosphoramidite derivatives with the serine hydroxyl of various amino acids and peptides to give, after oxidation with tert-BuOOH, phosphotriesters exclusively as alpha-anomers in good yield. The resulting compounds could be deblocked using conventional methods. Glycophosphorylation of preassembled and properly protected peptides was found to be more efficient for the preparation of proteophosphoglycan fragments than a building block approach strategy using a phosphoglycosylserine derivative. 相似文献

The electroosmotic peristaltic flow of modified hybrid nanofluid in presence of entropy generation has been presented in this thermal model. The Hall impact and thermal radiation with help of nonlinear relations has also been used to modify the analysis. The assumed flow is considered due to a non-uniform trapped channel. The properties of modified hybrid nanofluid model are focused with interaction of three distinct types of nanoparticles namely copper (, silver () and aluminum oxide ( The mathematical modeling and significances of entropy generation and Bejan number are identified. With certain flow assumptions, the governing equations are attained for optimized peristaltic electroosmotic problem. Widely used assumptions of long wave length and low Reynolds number reduced the governing equations in ordinary differential equations. The ND solver is flowed for the solution process. A series of new thiophene derivatives has been synthesized using the Gewald protocol. The acetylcholinesterase inhibition activity was assayed according to Ellman's method using donepezil as reference. Some of the compounds were found to be more potent inhibitors than the reference. 2-(2-(4-(4-Methoxyphenyl)piperazin-1-yl)acetamido)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxamide (IIId) showed 60% inhibition, compared to only 40% inhibition by donepezil. 相似文献

The Kelvin-Helmholtz problem of viscous fluids under the influence of a normal periodic electric field in the absence of surface charges is studied. The system is composed of a streaming dielectric fluid sheet of finite thickness embedded between two different streaming finite dielectric fluids. The interfaces permit mass and heat transfer. Because of the complexity of the considered system, a mathematical simplification is adopted. The weak viscous effects are taken into account so that their contributions are incorporated into the boundary conditions. Therefore, the equations of motion are solved in the absence of viscous effects. The boundary value problem leads to two simultaneous Mathieu equations of damped terms having complex coefficients. The symmetric and antisymmetric deformations reduced the coupled Mathieu equations to a single Mathieu equation. The classical stability criterion is found to be substantially modified due to the effect of mass and heat transfer. The analytical results are numerically confirmed. It is found that the sheet thickness and mass and heat transfer parameters have a dual influence on the stability criteria. It is also found that the field frequency has a stabilizing influence especially at small values of the wave number. In contrast to the case of a pure inviscid fluid, it is found that the uniform normal electric field plays a dual role in the stability criteria. This role depends on the choice of the numerical values of the physical parameters of the system under consideration. 相似文献
