Three isomeric 7-(pyridyl)indoles reveal very different, solvent-dependent photophysical properties. Due to rapid excited state depopulation involving intramolecular hydrogen bonding, 7-(2′-pyridyl)indole is practically nonfluorescent at room temperature. In nonpolar and polar aprotic solvents, 7-(3′-pyridyl)indole and 7-(4′-pyridyl)indole fluorescence strongly, but the emission is quenched in alcohols. Syn and anti rotameric forms of 7-(3′-pyridyl)indole are detected, each quenched to a different degree. This differential quenching is interpreted as evidence of enhanced S1 → S0 internal conversion being more efficient in cyclic solvates, with alcohol molecules forming a bridge between the proton donor and acceptor groups of an excited chromophore.  相似文献

In the present study, new 1,2,4‐triazoles, 1,3,4‐thiadiazoles, and acylthiosemicarbaz‐ides derived from 4‐(4‐chlorophenylsulfonyl)benzoic acid hydrazide were synthesized and screened for their antimicrobial and analgesic activities. Acylthiosemicarbazides 2–4 were synthesized by a reaction of 4‐(4‐chlorophenyl‐sulfonyl)benzoic acid hydrazide 1 with different arylisothiocyanates.4,5‐Disubstituted‐2,4‐dihydro‐3H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐thiones 5–7 and 2,5‐disubstituted‐1,3,4‐thiadiazoles 8–10 were obtained by dehydrative cyclization of corresponding acylthiosemicarbazide derivatives 2–4 in basic media (8% aqueous sodium hydroxide) and in acidic media (sulfuric acid or phosphorous oxychloride), respectively. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds have been confirmed on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral studies (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS). Their antimicrobial activities against some bacteria and yeasts were investigated. The analgesic activity of all compounds was performed with two pharmacological tests: the writhing test induced with acetic acid and hot‐plate test. The results showed that triazole 7 had the best antimicrobial activity against Bacillus cereus. In the chemical stimulus test, triazoles 6 and 7 were the most active compounds whereas in the hot‐plate test thiadiazoles 9 and 10 exhibited the highest analgesic activity.  相似文献

An efficient and novel total synthesis of the two bioactive retinoids temarotene and arotinoid acid (TTNPB) is described. The key steps in this process include the regio and stereoselective hydrotelluration of thioacetylene 9 and Te/Li transmetalation of mixed (Z)-1,2-bis(organylchalcogene)-1-alkene (Z)-3. The subsequent reaction involving the β-phenylthio vinyl lithiated intermediate 10 with dimethyl sulfate gave the (E)-vinyl sulfide 11. The Ni+2 cross-coupling of 11 with the corresponding phenylzinc bromide and p-oxazoline phenylzinc bromide 12 afforded the respective temarotene 2 and retinoid-oxazoline substituted 13. Finally, compound 13 was deprotected with HCl to furnish arotinoid acid (TTNPB) 1.  相似文献

A series of 1-aryl/alkyl-1H-1,2,3,4-tetrazoles, 5-substituted 1H-tetrazoles, and 1,5- and 2,5-disubstituted 1H-tetrazoles were studied by a combination of experimental NMR (natural abundance (15)N, (15)N/(1)H HMBC, and (13)C) and computational GIAO-NMR techniques to explore substituent effects on (15)N (and (13)C) NMR chemical shifts in the tetrazole (TA) moiety. Computed (15)N chemical shifts via GIAO-B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,p) calculations gave satisfactory results in comparison with experimental data. Whereas N-alkylation leads to large (15)N chemical shift changes, changes in the N(1)-aryl derivatives bearing diverse substituent(s) are generally small except for polar ortho-substituents (COOH, NO(2)). Large Δδ(15)N values were computed in N(1)-aryl derivatives for p-COH(2)(+) and p-OMeH(+) as extreme examples of electron-withdrawing substituents on a TA moiety.  相似文献

Six new heteropolynuclear chromium(III)/vanadium(V) complexes with natural ligands: glycine, glutaminic, nicotinic and asparginic acids, have been isolated and physicochemically characterised. The complexes have been analysed using spectroscopic (diffuse reflectance u.v.–vis., i.r.), magnetic methods and by FAB mass spectra. Spectral analyses with the digital filter and band deconvolution methods are presented. Additionally, preliminary toxicity studies have been performed.  相似文献

A bottom‐up strategy was used for the synthesis of cross‐linked copolymers containing the organocatalyst N‐{(1R)‐2′‐{[(4‐ethylphenyl)sulfonyl]amino}[1,1′‐binaphthalen]‐2‐yl}‐D ‐prolinamide derived from 2 (Scheme 1). The polymer‐bound catalyst 5b containing 1% of divinylbenzene as cross‐linker showed higher catalyst activity in the aldol reaction between cyclohexanone and 4‐nitrobenzaldehyde than 5a and 5c . Remarkably, the reaction in the presence of 5b was carried out under solvent‐free, mild conditions, achieving up to 93% ee (Table 1). The polymer‐bound catalyst 5b was recovered by filtration and re‐used up to seven times without detrimental effects on the achieved diastereo‐ and enantioselectivities (Table 2). The catalytic procedure with polymer 5b was extended to the aldol reaction under solvent‐free conditions of other ketones, including functionalized ones, and different aromatic aldehydes (Table 3). In some cases, the addition of a small amount of H2O was required to give the best results (up to 95% ee). Under these reaction conditions, the cross‐aldol reaction between aldehydes proceeded in moderate yield and diastereo‐ and enantioselectivity (Scheme 2).  相似文献

In the present paper, a systematic electrochemical investigation on thiourea (TU) electrooxidation was developed on polycrystalline and (111) single-crystal gold electrodes in 0.1 M perchloric acid. The combination of cyclic voltammetry with in situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIRS) and differential electrochemical mass spectrometry techniques have allowed the nature of the species formed during the electroadsorption and electrooxidation of TU to be established. FTIRS experiments were performed in D2O to clean up the region of the H2O bending around 1600 cm(-1). It was concluded that TU adsorbs tilted on the surface in the 0.05-0.40 VRHE potential range. A dual-path reaction mechanism was evidenced in the oxidation process. The first pathway takes place from adsorbed TU at E > 0.40 VRHE and implies the formation of [Au(I)-(TU)2]+, which is oxidized to NH2CN and S0 at E > 0.80 VRHE. In a following oxidation step at E > 1.20 V, N2, CO2, and HSO4-/SO4(2-) were produced. The second parallel reaction occurs from TU in solution at E > 0.50 VRHE to form (TU)2(2+). All these species were characterized from the spectroscopic experiments. Similar results were obtained for both surfaces.  相似文献
