A novel perylenediimide derivative which has a bay region hydroxyl function behaves as a pH-sensitive dye. The deprotonation of the aryl-OH yields a green solution with a λmax of 692 nm and this deprotonated form has strong internal charge transfer characteristics. On reprotonation in acidic solutions, the typical PDI absorbance spectrum is restored. The experimentally determined pKa (7.45) is very close to physiological pH, therefore the most significant changes in color take place in the vicinity of this pH value.  相似文献

In this study, new calculations on the excitation functions of 13C(p,n)13N, 14N(p,a)11C, 15N(p,n)15O, 16O(p,a)13N, 18O(p,n)18F, 62Ni(p,n)62Cu, 68Zn(p,n)68Ga and 72Ge(p,n)72 As reactions have been carried out in the 5–40 MeV incident proton energy range. In these calculations, the pre-equilibrium and equilibrium effects have been investigated. The pre-equilibrium calculations involve hybrid model, geometry dependent hybrid model, the cascade exciton model and full exciton model. Equilibrium effects were calculated according to Weisskopf-Ewing model. The calculated results have been compared with experimental data taken from literature.   相似文献

A study has been made of the effect of orientation on the oxidative degradation of poly(vinylchloride) (PVC), low density polyethylene (LDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) under the influence of γ- and u.v.-radiation. The effect of drawing in PVC is to increase the rate of oxidative degradation; in LDPE and HDPE, this rate decreases (especially for HDPE) both under u.v. and γ-radiation.  相似文献

We discuss a model selection procedure, the adaptive ridge selector, derived from a hierarchical Bayes argument, which results in a simple and efficient fitting algorithm. The hierarchical model utilized resembles an un-replicated variance components model and leads to weighting of the covariates. We discuss the intuition behind this type estimator and investigate its behavior as a regularized least squares procedure. While related alternatives were recently exploited to simultaneously fit and select variablses/features in regression models (Tipping in J Mach Learn Res 1:211–244, 2001; Figueiredo in IEEE Trans Pattern Anal Mach Intell 25:1150–1159, 2003), the extension presented here shows considerable improvement in model selection accuracy in several important cases. We also compare this estimator’s model selection performance to those offered by the lasso and adaptive lasso solution paths. Under randomized experimentation, we show that a fixed choice of tuning parameter leads to results in terms of model selection accuracy which are superior to the entire solution paths of lasso and adaptive lasso when the underlying model is a sparse one. We provide a robust version of the algorithm which is suitable in cases where outliers may exist.  相似文献

Addition of LDA to a mixture of trimethylborate and dibromomethane in THF at a temperature of -78°C leads to the formation of dibromomethyllithium and its capture by borate ester. ClB(OMe)(2) converts the resulting borate salt to dimethoxy(dibromomethyl)borane 2. N,N-Dimethylamino(methoxy)(dibromomethyl)borane 3 and N,N-bis(dimethylamino)(dibromomethyl)borane 4 were prepared by an amination reaction between N,N-dimethylaminotrimethylsilane and dimethoxy(dibromomethyl)borane 2. To obtain dichlorotrimethylsilylmethylborane 7 not containing the α-halomethyl group, N,N-bis(dimethylamino)(trimethylsilylmethyl)borane 5 was first obtained from the reaction of ClB(NMe(2))(2) with an organolithium reagent. Dimethoxy(trimethylsilylmethyl)borane 6 was then prepared by methoxylation of compound 5. Finally, compound 7 was prepared by chlorination of 6 using BCl(3). The chemical structures of these compounds were determined using (13)C, (1)H, (11)B NMR and GC/MS/MS techniques.  相似文献

One of the most important problems of coding theory is to construct codes with best possible minimum distances. Recently, quasi-cyclic (QC) codes have been proven to contain many such codes. In this paper, we consider quasi-twisted (QT) codes, which are generalizations of QC codes, and their structural properties and obtain new codes which improve minimum distances of best known linear codes over the finite fields GF(3) and GF(5). Moreover, we give a BCH-type bound on minimum distance for QT codes and give a sufficient condition for a QT code to be equivalent to a QC code.  相似文献

An experimental study on CH4–CO2–air flames at various pressures is conducted by using both laminar and turbulent Bunsen flame configurations. The aim of this research is to contribute to the characterization of fuel lean methane/carbon dioxide/air premixed laminar and turbulent flames at different pressures, by studying laminar and turbulent flame propagation velocities, the flame surface density and the instantaneous flame front wrinkling parameters. PREMIX computations and experimental results indicate a decrease of the laminar flame propagation velocities with increasing CO2 dilution rate. Instantaneous flame images are obtained by Mie scattering tomography. The image analysis shows that although the height of the turbulent flame increases with the CO2 addition rate, the flame structure is quite similar. This implies that the flame wrinkling parameters and flame surface density are indifferent to the CO2 addition. However, the pressure increase has a drastic effect on both parameters. This is also confirmed by a fractal analysis of instantaneous images. It is also observed that the combustion intensity ST/SL increases both with pressure and the CO2 rate. Finally, the mean fuel consumption rate decreases with the CO2 addition rate but increases with the pressure.  相似文献
