The tetradentate N2S2 Schiff base ligand 3,3′‐[2,2′‐(ethyl­ene­di­oxy)di­benzyl­idene]­bis­(S‐methyl di­thio­car­ba­zate) (H2L), prepared by the condensation of S‐methyl di­thio­carb­aza­te with 1,4‐bis(2‐formyl­phenyl)‐1,4‐dioxa­butane in a 1:2 molar ratio, reacts with nickel acetate to form the title neutral metal complex, [Ni(C20H20N4O2S4)]. The X‐ray structure of the complex shows a distorted square‐planar geometry around the Ni atom. The monomeric units are weakly associated into dimers via a long Ni?S interaction [3.569 (1) Å]. These dimeric units are then linked by C—H?S intermolecular contacts to form a polymeric chain along the a axis.  相似文献

In the present study a series of new Schiff bases were synthesized. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, mass spectral and elemental analyses. Newly synthesized compounds were screened for their antibacterial (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) activity. The results revealed that, compounds 3f and 3c have exhibited significant biological activity against the tested microorganisms.  相似文献

A new Schiff base 4-[N-hydroxyethyl-N-(methyl)amino]benzaldehyde S-methyl dithiocarbazate (HL, where H is a dissociable proton) and the ruthenium complex [Ru(bpy)2L]PF6 (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) have been synthesized. The structural determinations of the ligand and its ruthenium complex, by X-ray crystallography, show that the ligand is coordinated as a monoanionic bidentate N, S-donor, forming a four-member chelate ring with a bite angle of 65.91°. The complex shows intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. Fluorescent and electrochemical properties have been also studied. The complex in DMF solution exhibited a strong two-photon absorption (t.p.a.) at 532 nm nanosecond laser pulses. The t.p.a. coefficient β, t.p.a. cross-section σ and the third-order optical nonlinearity χ(3) of the complex and the ligand have been determined by the Z-scan technique.  相似文献

The [Cu(tren)(Im)Cu(tren)](ClO4)3·MeCN complex [tren=tris(2-aminoethyl)amine; Im=imidazolate anion] has been synthesized and characterized spectrally. The X-ray crystal structure analysis reveals that the imidazolate anion serves as a bridge to form a noncentrosymmetric dimeric structure in the complex. The co-ordination geometry about each copper(II) ion is a distorted trigonal bipyramid with three primary amine groups of the tren ligand forming the equatorial plane. The tertiary amine group and the imidazolate anion are in the axial positions. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C12H10N4, the pyridine ring makes a dihedral angle of 1.12 (9)° with the mean plane of the complete almost planar and crystallographically centrosymmetric mol­ecule. There are stacks of parallel mol­ecules along the a‐axis direction, with alternate stacks having a herring‐bone arrangement relative to each other and an interplanar spacing of 3.551 Å.  相似文献
