An efficient ruthenium catalyst system for the direct ortho CH borylation of aromatic imines is described. The reaction of tert-butyl-1-arylmethanimines with pinacolborane in the presence of Ru(cod)(cot), followed by hydrolysis, to afford the ortho-formyl-substituted arylboronates. Amphidinol 3 (AM3) exhibits a potent membrane permeabilizing activity by forming pores in biological membranes. We examined the conformation and location of AM3 using isotropic bicelles, a more natural membrane model than micelles. The results show that AM3 takes turn structures at the two tetrahydropyran rings. Most of the hydrophilic region of the molecule is predominantly present in the surface, while the hydrophobic polyolefin penetrates in the bicelle interior.  相似文献

A solid‐state fluorescent host system was created by self‐assembly of a 21‐helical columnar organic fluorophore composed of (1R,2S)‐2‐amino‐1,2‐diphenylethanol and fluorescent 1‐pyrenecarboxylic acid. This host system has a characteristic 21‐helical columnar hydrogen‐ and ionic‐bonded network. Channel‐like cavities are formed by self‐assembly of this column, and various guest molecules can be included by tuning the packing of this column. Moreover, the solid‐state fluorescence of this host system can change according to the included guest molecules. This occurs because of the change in the relative arrangement of the pyrene rings as they adjust to the tuning of the packing of the shared 21‐helical column, according to the size of the included guest molecules. Therefore, this host system can recognize slight differences in molecular size and shape.  相似文献

Rhodium and cerium were found to be suitable additives for improving the sulfur-tolerance of Ni-based gasoline reforming catalysts. In these cases, the Rh content was only 0.1 wt.% with 5 wt.% of Ce. The lifetime of Rh-Ce-modified Ni-based catalyst is found to be above 600 hours at 1023K, which is over a ten times longer lifetime than that of the unmodified catalysts, when premium gasoline was used.  相似文献

Alkyne hydroamination is an effective approach for the production of enamines and enamine-containing N-heterocycles. However, stereoselectivity control is a considerable challenge in this reaction because of the electronic repulsion between an incoming nitrogen lone pair and the alkyne π-system. Herein, we propose a methodology involving β-regio- and Z-selective alkyne hydroamination by using tetrafluoro-λ6-sulfanyl (SF4) alkynes under superbasic, naked anion conditions. The reaction is compatible with a wide variety of N-heterocycles, including indoles, carbazoles, pyrazoles, and imidazoles, and selectively furnishes SF4-linked Z-vinyl enamines with β-regioselectively. Moreover, the method can be extended to the β- and Z-controlled, base-mediated alkyne hydrophenoxylation with phenols to provide SF4-linked Z-vinyl ethers in high yields. As the SF4 unit has attracted attention as a bioisostere for alkynes, p-benzenes, bicyclo[1.1.1]pentyl (BCP) groups, and cubanes in medicinal chemistry, this chemistry represents an effective approach to creating novel drug candidates incorporating SF4-containing molecules.  相似文献

Asymmetric hydrogenation of various alpha-chloro aromatic ketones with Ru(OTf)(TsDPEN)(eta6-arene) (TsDPEN = N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-1,2-diphenylethylenediamine) produces the chiral chlorohydrins in up to 98% ee. This reaction can be conducted even on a 206-g scale. The mechanism of exciplex formation proposed in a previous paper has been refined to show how exciplex formation and Marcus electron transfer (ET) in fluorescence quenching are related to each other. This was done by making simple calculations of the free energies of the initial (DA*) and final (D+A-) states of ET. First it was shown that the decrease in D-A distance can induce intermolecular ET even in nonpolar solvents where solvent orientational polarization is absent, and that it leads to exciplex formation. This is consistent with experimental results that exciplex is most often observed in nonpolar solvents. The calculation was then extended to ET in polar solvents where the free energies are functions of both D-A distance and solvent orientational polarization. This enabled us to discuss both exciplex formation and Marcus ET in the same D-A pair and solvent on the basis of 2-dimensional free energy surfaces. The surfaces contain more information about the rates of these reactions, the mechanism of fluorescence quenching by ET, etc., than simple reaction schemes. By changing the parameters such as the free energy change of reaction, solvent dielectric constants, etc., one can construct the free energy surfaces for various systems. The effects of free energy change of reaction and of solvent polarity on the mechanism and relative importance of exciplex formation and Marcus ET in fluorescence quenching can be well explained. The free energy surface will also be useful for discussion of other phenomena related to ET reactions.  相似文献
