Abstract

Using a solid state nucleation model the influence of different carbon types on the nucleation number of diamond has been studied, keeping constant the synthesis parameters p, T, t. The carbon types used have been investigated concerning their mechanical, electrical and chemical properties; the graphite content and the lattice perfection of the graphite are also determined. As a experimental result the nucleation number shows a significant dependence on the carbon type used, particularly on the amount of crystalline graphite.

The results show the possibility to influence certain steps of the diamond synthesis process.  相似文献

We give a moving frame of a Legendre curve (or, a frontal) in the unit tangent bundle and define a pair of smooth functions of a Legendre curve like as the curvature of a regular plane curve. It is quite useful to analyse the Legendre curves. The existence and uniqueness for Legendre curves hold similarly to the case of regular plane curves. As an application, we consider contact between Legendre curves and the arc-length parameter of Legendre immersions in the unit tangent bundle.  相似文献

The hypergraph k-cut problem is the problem of finding a minimum capacity set of hyperedges whose removal divides a given hypergraph into at least k connected components. We present an algorithm for this problem, that runs in strongly polynomial time if both k and the maximum size of the hyperedges are constants. Our algorithm extends the algorithm proposed by Thorup (2008) for computing minimum k-cuts of graphs from greedy packings of spanning trees.  相似文献

A polymethacrylate derivative containing 6-cyanouracil was prepared, and its photochemical reaction was studied. The 6-cyanouracil derivative was found to show high reactivity for the photochemiccal reaction. The photochemical-reaction product was identified as a cyclobutanetype photodimer, and the photodimer was formed in high yield even from the monomeric compound of 6-cyanouracil under UV irradiation in low concentration. The quantum yield of the photodimerization of the 6-cyanouracil derivative was greater than that of the thymine derivative. The photodimerization of the 6-cyanouracil derivative could not be quenched by usual triplet quenchers, but was found to be quenched by the polymeric derivative of adenine, suggesting a specific interaction.  相似文献

A newly developed dual photon absorptiometry system (DCS-600, ALOKA Co., LTD.) using two monochromatic X-rays for the determination of bone mineral in the peripheral bone was fundamentally studied, in comparison to single photon absorptiometry system (SPA). The accuracy and precision in DCS-600 were equal to or better than SPA system. Furthermore, in DCS-600 the forearm could be imaged, and the manipulation was easy. Thus DCS-600 was found to be a good instrument as a quantifying system of bone mass.  相似文献

We developed and validated a reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method with fluorescence detection for the simultaneous determination of YM-64227 [4-cyclohexyl-1-ethyl-7-methylpyrido(2,3-d)pyrimidin-2-(1H)-one], a novel and selective phosphodiesterase type 4 inhibitor, and its fi ve hydroxylated metabolites in dog plasma. The plasma samples were extracted with tert-butyl methyl ether under alkali conditions. The analytes were well separated on a phenyl ethyl column (5 microm, 250 x 4.6 mm i.d.), opreating at 40 degrees C and using an acetonitrile-acetic acid gradient at a fl ow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The fluorescence signal was monitored at an excitation and emission wavelength of 330 and 400 nm, respectively. No interfering peak was observed at the retention time of YM-64227, its metabolites or the internal standard. The validated quantitation range of the method was 0.4-200 ng/mL for all analytes using 0.5 mL of the plasma sample. The recovery of analytes in the extraction process was more than 65.5%. The intra- and inter-assay precision was less than 5.1 and 12.6%, respectively, and the intra- and inter-assay accuracy ranged from -8.1 to 11.8% and -8.0 to 9.9%, respectively. Using this assay, the plasma concentration of YM-64227 and metabolites can be determined after the oral administration of YM-64227 to beagle dogs.  相似文献

In the course of our screening program for novel glycine transporter inhibitors, we obtained a novel cyclic tetrapeptide (WSS2220) from the culture broth of Nonomuraea sp. The structure of WSS2220 was elucidated based on physicochemical data. WSS2220 contained a novel amino acid (4-oxo-3′-sulfoisoleucine), the absolute stereochemistry of which was determined by chemical modifications and the modified Mosher’s method. WSS2220 selectively inhibited glycine transporter type1 with an IC50 of 20 nM.  相似文献

Upon encapsulating an oval‐shaped hydrocarbon guest, a cylindrical host deforms its shape to maximize intermolecular contacts. Structure–assembly relationship studies with a series of hydrocarbon guests disclosed the importance of molecular shapes and CH–π contacts. Multiple contacts and weak CH–π hydrogen bonds resulted in an optimal assembly; however, the shape deformation resulted in severe retardation of rotational motions in the crystal. Thus, unlike a circular guest, the oval‐shaped guest did not change its orientation in the host. Unexpectedly, the planar guest did not affect the packing structure to form a double helix in intertwined host arrays.  相似文献
