The aim of our work is to develop optimal dielectric composite structures with specific qualities. The task is to design interfaces of given material components such that the originated structure attains certain optical properties. Propagation of the electromagnetic waves in the composite is described by the Helmholtz equation. Success of the structure is enumerated by the objective function which is to be minimized. Interfaces of the given materials are parametrized by the cubic B–spline curves. The design variables are afterwards the positions of B–spline control points. For objective function evaluation one forward computation of the Helmholtz equation is needed. To get the sensitivity of the objective function we solve the backward (adjoint) equation. Relative stabilities of uracil tautomers and cations formed by gas-phase protonation were studied computationally with the B3LYP, MP2, QCISD, and QCISD(T) methods and with basis sets expanding from 6-31G(d,p) to 6-311+G(3df,2p). In accordance with a previous density functional theory study, the dioxo tautomer 1a was the most stable uracil isomer in the gas phase. Gibbs free energy calculations using effective QCISD(T)/6-311+G(3df,2p) energies suggested >99.9% of 1a at equilibrium at 523 K. The most stable ion isomer corresponded to N-1 protonated 2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine, which however is not formed by direct protonation of 1a. The topical proton affinities in 1a followed the order O-8 > O-7 > C-5 > N-3 > N-1. The thermodynamic proton affinity of 1a was calculated as 858 kJ mol−1 at 298 K. A revision is suggested for the current estimate included in the ion thermochemistry database.  相似文献

The simple and rapid solid-phase micro-extraction method using gas chromatography was used for the identification and quantification of volatile aroma compounds in various types of processed cheese analogues produced from different types of fat (butter, butter oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and sunflower oil). In total, 31 organic compounds belonging to five chemical groups were identified, with the alcohols and fatty acids quantitatively predominant. The contents of the aroma compounds (the so-called aroma profiles) of the analogues and corresponding fats used as raw materials were compared. Significant differences (p < 0.05) were found between samples. The highest total content of aroma compounds was found in coconut oil analogue ((547.30 ± 9.82) mg kg?1), the lowest in palm oil analogue ((372.01 ± 16.16) mg kg?1). The concentrations of aroma compounds in fats were substantially lower (p < 0.05) than in analogues. Hence, the largest number of aroma analogues came from Edam cheese used for production as a protein source.  相似文献

Density functional theory calculations of the electronic structure of graphane and stoichiometrically halogenated graphene derivatives (fluorographene and other analogous graphene halides) show: (i) localized orbital basis sets can be successfully and effectively used for such two-dimensional materials; (ii) several functionals predict that the band gap of graphane is greater than that of fluorographene, whereas HSE06 gives the opposite trend; (iii) HSE06 functional predicts quite good values of band gaps with respect to benchmark theoretical and experimental data; (iv) the zero band gap of graphene is opened by hydrogenation and halogenation and strongly depends on the chemical composition of mixed graphene halides; (v) the stability of graphene halides decreases sharply with increasing size of the halogen atom--fluorographene is stable, whereas graphene iodide spontaneously decomposes. In terms of band gap and stability, the C(2)FBr and C(2)HBr derivatives seem to be promising materials, e.g., for (opto)electronics applications, because their band gaps are similar to those of conventional semiconductors, and they are expected to be stable under ambient conditions. The results indicate that other fluorinated compounds (C(a)H(b)F(c) and C(a)F(b)Y(c), Y = Cl, Br, I) are stable insulators.  相似文献

A new method for the simultaneous separation of cocaine and four metabolites in urine by CE-ESI-MS via a pressurized nanoliquid junction interface was developed. The resolution of cocaine, cocaethylene, benzoylecgonine, norcocaine, and ecgonine methyl ester was achieved in a polyvinyl-alcohol-coated capillary with 75 μm id × 50 cm total length, using a 15 mM ammonium formate electrolyte solution (pH 9.5) in less than 15 min. In addition, to enhance sensitivity, a field-amplified sample injection (FASI) was evaluated in terms of injection time and sample solvent composition. The limits of detection achieved with the FASI method ranged from 1.5 to 10 ng/mL for all the compounds. The detection of the studied compounds was performed using an ion-trap mass spectrometer in a positive ionization mode. A mixture of methanol:water (80:20 v/v) containing 0.1% v/v of formic acid was employed as spray liquid and delivered at ~200 nL/min. Under optimal CE-MS conditions, linearity was assessed in the concentration range of interest for all analytes with correlation coefficients r2 ≥ 0.9913. Intra- and inter-day precision provided a relative standard deviation lower than 1.54% for migration times and lower than 12.15% for peak areas. Finally, urine samples, spiked with the standard mixture, were extracted using a solid-phase extraction procedure and injected under FASI conditions, providing recoveries from 80% to 94% for all analytes.  相似文献

We report a new approach to investigating the mechanisms of fast peptide cation-radical dissociations based on an analysis of time-resolved reaction progress by Ehrenfest dynamics, as applied to an Ala-Arg cation-radical model system. Calculations of stationary points on the ground electronic state that were carried out with effective CCSD(T)/6-311++G(3df,2p) could not explain the experimental branching ratios for loss of a hydrogen atom, ammonia, and N–Cα bond dissociation in (AR + 2H)+●. The Ehrenfest dynamics results indicate that the ground and low-lying excited electronic states of (AR + 2H)+● follow different reaction courses in the first 330 femtoseconds after electron attachment. The ground (X) state undergoes competing loss of N-terminal ammonia and isomerization to an aminoketyl radical intermediate that depend on the vibrational energy of the charge-reduced ion. The A and B excited states involve electron capture in the Arg guanidine and carboxyl groups and are non-reactive on the short time scale. The C state is dissociative and progresses to a fast loss of an H atom from the Arg guanidine group. Analogous results were obtained by using the B3LYP and CAM-B3LYP density functionals for the excited state dynamics and including the universal M06-2X functional for ground electronic state calculations. The results of this Ehrenfest dynamics study indicate that reaction pathway branching into the various dissociation channels occurs in the early stages of electron attachment and is primarily determined by the electronic states being accessed. This represents a new paradigm for the discussion of peptide dissociations in electron based methods of mass spectrometry.  相似文献

The adsorption of sulphur on the Pd(111) surface is studied by low energy electron diffraction (LEED). Four different adsorbate structures are identified. LEED intensity analyses are performed for the clean surface and for the ordered initial adlayer, i.e. the (3 × 3)R30° S adsorption phase. It is found that the sulphur atoms occupy threefold-symmetric hollow sites, with a SPd chemisorption bond length of 0.222±0.003 nm.  相似文献

An autoclave hypercritical drying procedure has been used to prepare precursors of MgO from Mg(OCH3)2. This material was prepared with a specific surface area of 1200 m2 g 1. The dehydrated materials consisted of much smaller crystallites than conventionally prepared MgO and were free of OCH3 groups. The precursors and samples of magnesium oxide were taken for experimental evaluation of their reactivity with mustard. The largest percentage of the conversion mustard into non-toxic products after the elapse of the reaction was 77%.  相似文献
