The accuracy of instrumental neutron activation analysis is dependent upon measurement of the neutron flux to which samples are submitted. Flux monitoring techniques described and evaluated include: target cooling water activity, BFa counters, plastic scintillators, and a simple reference sample system. Evaluation is made on the basis of results obtained for oxygen analysis using primary standard materials. The superiority of the reference sample system for flux measurement during irregular neutron flux production is shown.  相似文献

Infrared multiple-photon dissociation of CTCl3 was investigated using a pulsed CO2 laser-pumped NH3 laser at 12.08 μm. No evidence of any CDCl3 depletion or decomposition product was observed in photolyzed CTCl3/CDCl3 mixtures. A lower limit of the single-step T/D enrichment factor, β, was found to be ≈ 165, based on the sensitivity in measuring CDCl3 depletion. The low-fluene CTCl3/CDCl3 optical selectivity in absorptions is > 9000 at the 835 cm?1 CTCl3 ν4 peak.  相似文献

The title compound, 4‐amino‐1‐(2‐deoxy‐β‐d ‐erythropentofuranosyl)‐5‐(prop‐1‐ynyl)pyrimidin‐2(1H)‐one, C12H15N3O4, shows two conformations in the crystalline state which differ mainly in the glycosylic bond torsion angle and the sugar pucker. Both mol­ecules exhibit an anti glycosylic bond conformation, with torsion angles χ = −135.0 (2) and −156.4 (2)° for mol­ecules 1 and 2, respectively. The sugar moieties show a twisted C2′‐endo sugar pucker (S‐type), with P = 173.3 and 192.5° for mol­ecules 1 and 2, respectively. The crystal structure is characterized by a three‐dimensional network that is stabilized by several inter­molecular hydrogen bonds between the two conformers.  相似文献

Cyclic voltammetry shows that yeast iso-1-cytochrome c (YCC), chemisorbed on a bare gold electrode via Cys102, exhibits fast, reversible interfacial electron transfer (k(0) = 1.8 x 10(3) s(-1)) and retains its native functionality. Vectorially immobilized YCC relays electrons to yeast cytochrome c peroxidase, and to both cytochrome cd(1) nitrite reductase (NIR) and nitric oxide reductase from Paracoccus denitrificans, thereby revealing the mechanistic properties of these enzymes. On a microelectrode, we measured nitrite turnover by approximately 80 zmol (49 000 molecules) of NIR, coadsorbed on 0.65 amol (390 000 molecules) of YCC.  相似文献

Several new dinitritochromium(III) complexes of the type trans-[Cr(L)(ONO)(2)]BF(4), where L is a derivative of the macrocyclic ligand cyclam having pendant aromatic chromophores attached (L = 5,7-dimethyl-6-(substituted)-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane), have been prepared and characterized. Photoexcitation of aqueous solutions containing these complexes at wavelengths corresponding to the pendant chromophore absorption bands led to the generation of NO as detected by an electrochemical sensor. Photophysical data show that the expected fluorescence of the pendant chromophores is largely quenched when the macrocyclic ligand is coordinated to these Cr(III) centers, and this is interpreted in terms of fast energy transfer processes from the ligand-centered pipi states to the Cr(III)-centered ligand field states leading to subsequent cleavage of the Cr(III)-coordinated nitrito ligand. Thus, the chromophores tethered to the coordinated cyclam serve as light-gathering antennae for the intramolecular sensitization of the NO-generating photoreactions at the metal center.  相似文献

Summary.  Hydrido substituted stannasilanes of the type or (Z = H, Me, Ph; R, R′ = alkyl, Ph) are accessible by reaction of either alkali metal stannides (MSn(Z)R 2; M = Li, Na) with halogen substituted silanes (; X = F, Cl) or chlorostannanes (R 2SnCl2, Ph3SnCl) and fluorosilanes in the presence of magnesium. Stannasilanes with halogen substituents at the silicon as well as the tin atom are formed by treatment of the hydrido substituted stannasilanes with CHCl3 or CCl4. The hydrido substituted stannasilanes decompose in contact with air to distannanes and siloxanes or to the linear ( t Bu2Sn(–O– t Bu2Si–OH)2) and cyclic ((– t Bu2Sn–O– i Pr2Si–O–)2) stannasiloxanes. Two syntheses of some optically active 2-benzyl-2,3-dihydro-4H-benzopyrans and benzopyran-4-ones are presented. An asymmetric synthesis starting from D- and L-phenylalanine was used to provide both enantiomers of 2-benzyl-6-(methoxycarbonyl)-2,3-dihydro-4H-benzopyran-4-one 19. Phenylalanine was diazotized in aqueous sulfuric acid to 2-hydroxy-3-phenylpropionic acid 6 which was converted in four steps to 1-bromo-2-(4-methoxycarbonylphenoxy)-3-phenylpropane 11. (4R,S)-Benzamido-2-benzyl-2,3-dihydro-6-(methoxycarbonyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-carboxylic acid 16 was prepared from 11 by amidoalkylation with α-hydroxyhippuric acid in methanesulfonic acid solution followed by spiroalkylation to (4R,S)-2-benzyl-2,3-dihydro-6-(methoxycarbonyl)spiro[4H-benzopyran-4,4′-2′-phenyloxazolidin]-5′-one 15. After the phenyloxazolidin-5-one 15 was hydrolyzed to the spirobenzamido carboxylic acid 16 , oxidative decarboxylation with sodium hypochlorite yielded optically active 2-benzyl-6-(methoxycarbonyl)-2,3-dihydro-4H-benzopyran-4-one 19. The ketone in 19 was reduced by hydrogenation over palladium on carbon to a methylene group and the ester was converted to the aldehyde to give both isomers of the desired intermediate 2-benzyl-6-(formyl)-2,3-dihydro-4H-benzopyran 25. The second synthesis relied on an enzymatic hydrolysis of ethyl 2,3-dihydrobenzopyran-2-carboxylate 27 with the lipase from P. fluorescens to provide the desired 2R-ester. The ester group in (R)- 27 was converted to the triflate (R)- 29. Displacement of the triflate group with phenylmagnesium bromide and cuprous bromide as catalyst gave 2R-benzyl-2,3-dihydro-4H-benzopyran (R)- 30. Formylation of (R)- 30 provided 2R-benzyl-6-(formyl)-2,3-dihydro-4H-benzopyran (R)- 25 identical with that from the first synthesis. These optically active intermediates are used in the preparation of the hypoglycemic agent englitazone.  相似文献

The rotationally resolved ultraviolet absorption cross sections for the 2(0)(0)4(1)(0) vibrational band of the A(1)A(2)-X(1)A(1) electronic transition of formaldehyde (HCHO) at an apodized resolution of 0.027 cm(-1) (approximately 0.0003 nm at 352 nm) over the spectral range 28100-28500 cm(-1) (351-356 nm) at 298 and 220 K, using Fourier transform spectroscopy, are first reported here. Accurate rotationally resolved cross sections are important for the development of in situ HCHO laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) instruments and for atmospheric monitoring. Pressure dependence of the cross sections between 75 and 400 Torr at 298 K was explored, and an average pressure broadening coefficient in dry air of 1.8 x 10(-4) cm(-1) Torr(-1) for several isolated lines is reported. Gaseous HCHO was quantitatively introduced into a flow cell by evaporating micron-sized droplets of HCHO solution, using a novel microinjector technique. The condensed-phase concentrations of HCHO were determined by iodometric titrations to an accuracy of <1%. Accuracy of the measured absorption cross sections is estimated to be better than +/-5%. Integrated and differential cross sections over the entire band at low resolution (approximately 1 cm(-1)) obtained with our calibration technique are in excellent agreement with previous measurements. A maximum differential cross section of 5.7 x 10(-19) cm(2) molecule(-1) was observed at high resolution-almost an order of magnitude greater than any previously reported data at low resolution.  相似文献

A versatile liquid chromatographic platform has been developed for analysing underivatized carbohydrates using high performance anion exchange chromatography (HPAEC) followed by an inert PEEK splitter that splits the effluent to the integrated pulsed amperometric detector (IPAD) and to an on-line single quadrupole mass spectrometer (MS). Common eluents for HPAEC such as sodium hydroxide and sodium acetate are beneficial for the amperometric detection but not compatible with electrospray ionisation (ESI). Therefore a membrane-desalting device was installed after the splitter and prior to the ESI interface converting sodium hydroxide into water and sodium acetate into acetic acid. To enhance the sensitivity for the MS detection, 0.5 mmol/l lithium chloride was added after the membrane desalter to form lithium adducts of the carbohydrates. To compare sensitivity of IPAD and MS detection glucose, fructose, and sucrose were used as analytes. A calibration with external standards from 2.5 to 1000 pmole was performed showing a linear range over three orders of magnitude. Minimum detection limits (MDL) with IPAD were determined at 5 pmole levels for glucose to be 0.12 pmole, fructose 0.22 pmole and sucrose 0.11 pmole. With MS detection in the selected ion mode (SIM) the lithium adducts of the carbohydrates were detected obtaining MDL's for glucose of 1.49 pmole, fructose 1.19 pmole, and sucrose 0.36 pmole showing that under these conditions IPAD is 3-10 times more sensitive for those carbohydrates. The applicability of the method was demonstrated analysing carbohydrates in real world samples such as chicory inulin where polyfructans up to a molecular mass of 7000 g/mol were detected as quadrupoly charged lithium adducts. Furthermore mono-, di-, tri-, and oligosaccharides were detected in chicory coffee, honey and beer samples.  相似文献

The structure of 1-hydroxy-1,2,3-benzotriazolium diphenyl phosphate (HOBt/DPP) has been investigated by X-ray analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 4 and the following lattice parameters: a = 11.711(2), b = 12.727(2) and c = 12.794(3) Å, β = 105.12(2)°, V = 1840.9(6) Å3. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined on F2 to R values of wR2 = 0.084 and R1 = 0.034 for 1985 observed reflections. HOBt/DPP has an ionic structure with very short OHO and NHO hydrogen bonds linking the different ions. Owing to these hydrogen bonds, infinite screw-shaped chains which are twisted parallel to the y-axis are formed.  相似文献
